THE FEATURES OF YOUR NEW HOME
FROM THE OWNER... It’s hard to believe I will be saying goodbye to my Beaujolais Court residence after 25 years. What a wonderful place this has been ...my pillar of strength to come home to, to regroup, relax, heal or just enjoy life. Walking up to the house and seeing my lovely rose bushes always thrills me....such a contrast from the crawling English ivy that overran the entire area when I first moved in! It really has been the perfect place for me to kick back, meet friends and family, cook scrumptious meals, watch the History Channel (love the Vikings!) or escape in a Hallmark movie. Taking walks in the neighborhood or traveling to Middleburg, one of my favorite haunts, I will remember fondly! Surely this is the best hideaway to retreat to from NOVA’s busy hubbub and its corporate arena! This house has evolved through the years and I will be leaving behind the fruit of my home improvement labors. Oh the pain of my gorgeous Oak Wood floors being installed over 2 days but all worth it! The deck, the patio, door installations, when will the HVAC system installation finally be done? Delivery of stainless steel home appliances. ..you know what it’s like when each additional 15 minutes is like another hour when people are working feverishly to complete the job. And now I can sit back and bask in the beauty of what I have grown to call my home... so now I am ready to pass the torch to you, but not without a tender heart ... More importantly, I will miss the Brookleigh community and its caring neighbors. Getting to know them, watching their children grow up, get a new puppy or simply supporting them through tough times ... remembering Snowmageddon and how we all banded together to help each other get through the worst snowstorm ever ... I’ll tuck away all these moments in time as they’ve become dear memories now. Because of my Beaujolais, I am poised to bring all the gifts, blessings and treasures I learned here to my next home. Being closer to family and friends has driven me to leave this locale and move back to Virginia’s Historical Triangle (Yorktown, Wlliamsburg, Jamestown) to live. I wish you well as you consider my home and I won’t be one bit surprised when I hear it will be yours and become the perfect oasis for you that it has been for me for so many years. Fondly, Cynthia Aungst
