CAD CAM SYSTEM
The Neoshape CAD/CAM system allows the selection of several materials, such as Zirconia, Cobalt-Chromium, Titanium and Acrylic, highlighting also the Lithium Disilicate.
PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN NEODENT AND 3SHAPE The 3shape scanner is the first step for use of the Neoshape system, having as one of its differentials the precision of laser scanning. With it, the Prosthesis Technician can digitalize the plaster models or moldings, and use a simplified 3D modeling software to create parts in a simple and intuitive way. The scanner is sold in Brazil by Neodent, under its partnership with 3shape, a Danish company that is internationally renowned for its 3D scanning technology and quality. The D700 scanner provides micro-metric precision, as it performs a laser reading in 5 different planes, with no human intervention. Professionals who purchase the system can rely on world-class technical support, provided by the company, and also with all technical information needed to properly operate the product.
DENTAL DESIGNER SOFTWARE The Dental Designer software is very flexible and intuitive. Its tools are simple, and allow the manipulation of the drawings of prosthetic structures, quickly and efficiently. The software also allows customized anatomic adjustments, such as: spacing for cementing, coping thickness, adding or reducing the virtual polishing, customization of abutments, among many other possibilities. As the whole planning occurs virtually, the waste of time and materials is reduced.
10
It also allows micrometric adjustments, optimizes the production time, 3D virtual polishing and laser scanning technology.
NEODENT’S MILLING CENTER The milling process begins after the virtual image (previously designed by the prosthesis technician using the Dental Designer software) is forwarded to the CAM software, which will mathematically determine the angles and the axis to be worked on the material, in order to reach a result absolutely identical to what was designed.
AVAILABLE MATERIALS: - Cobalt-Chromium: ideal for metalloceramics prosthesis. - Titanium: material recommended for infrastructure of hybrid prosthesis. - Zirconia: Aesthetics, high resistance, biocompatibility. - E-max® CAD: Translucent, resistance, esthetics and easy to use. Zirconia

Surface
Following years of intense researches and development of new technologies, Neodent has achieved the most modern and current techniques for the surface treatment of implants: the Neoporos Surface. The NeoPoros surface is obtained from the concept of blasting with abrasive particles, which has automated controls for speed, direction, pressure and size of the particles that collide with the implant. With that, we create craters at the implant’s surface using oxides of controlled granularity. Next, the surface is leveled using the acid subtraction technique. Several scientific researches were performed, attesting the efficiency of the bio-contact quality between bone and implant, with the NeoPoros surface.
Continuous Evolution and Safety Assurance
Electronic microscopes of the Neoporos Surface in amplifications of 2000X and 5000X.
12
Controlled roughness to guarantee the size of the pores between 2.5 and 5.0Âľm throughout the entire implant surface.
Direct contact of the bone to the implant, showing osteogenesis by contact and the osseous induction potential of Neoporos Surface.
Histological study of the bone tissue response of Neodent implants with Neoporos Surface.

HANDLING OF
CYLINDERS FOR OVERCASTING Regardless of the type of alloy chosen, the dental technician should take special care when handling the pre-fabricated cylinders, thus improving the quality of the overcasting and the ceramic application processes. 1. Waxing: The edges waxing of the component cannot overrun the borders that come into contact with the implant or the prosthetic component (metallic base of cylinder), guaranteed to preserve and adapt the industrial quality control process. 2. Overcasting: The prosthetic cylinders are made non-sterile and are suitable for single use. The metal bases are manufactured with alloys that have a high fusion temperature compared to the metal that is to be overcast. In cases where the metal for overcasting has a higher fusion temperature than the manufactured parts, they will deform due to high temperatures. However, if the metal due to be overcast has a fusion temperature much lower than the metal in the base, bonding may occur between the parts and the base of the component, which could result in the release of the infrastructure. All the cylinders with pre-fabricated bases are evaluated one by one, from the reception of the raw material, which is analyzed before production, to its final package, ensuring quality throughout the entire manufacturing process.
20
3. Finishing and metal polishing: The disembedding of the casted object at the coating must be done carefully, avoiding abrasive jets blasts, which may alter the prefabricated surface. It is recommended to machining the final infrastructure at a low rotation with the use of refrigeration, with specific drills for metal. Both of the areas corresponding to the stop of the head of the prosthetic screws inside the passing tube must maintain their full original shape, without the presence of positive metal porosities or deformations. The edges of the cylinders must be covered by polishing protectors during the polishing and the finishing of the infrastructure. Corrosive materials, such as those with iron particles, should also not be used. Very strict criteria should be applied, because flaws in overcasting procedure may cause the loss of the entire work. 4. Ceramic application: The porcelain choice should correspond to the used alloy (CoCr, Tilite or Gold). The ceramic cannot be applied directly over the manufactured bases of the cylinder, so that the waxing and the overcasting ensure a complete covering of the infrastructure area in which the ceramic is to be applied.
COBALT-CHROMIUM LINE (CoCr) The cylinders for overcasting with prefabricated bases of Cobalt-Chromium (CoCr) have a high resistance to water corrosion and elevated mechanical resistance to withstand occlusal loads. This is an alloy that has a high biocompatibility and is easy to use by the technician, with an excellent acceptance of ceramic application for CoCr. In addition, this alloy is compatible with one of the strongest trends in healthcare worldwide in its absence of Nickel in its chemical composition, resulting in lower risks of allergenic reactions when in contact with living tissues, such as the oral mucosa. Several cylinders and UCLAs are available in this alloy, and from the customised infrastructures of the Neoshape line. Note the options and mechanical characteristics (rotational or antirotational) for each case, as well as the sequence of products found in this catalogue.
Important informations: • Melting range: 1.287 to 1.378°C (2.348 to 2.512 °F); • Density: 8,28 g/cm3; • Coefficient of thermal expansion: 14,2µm/K (600°C). An alloy compatible for the overcasting procedure that is in accordance with regulations ASTM F1537, ASTM F799, ISO 5832-12 or ISO 5832-4 should be chosen. The thickness of the metal after overcasting must be at least 0.5 mm, and can be reduced during manufacturing and finishing by up to 0.3 mm. Welding must be done in the range of 1.120 to 1.150°C (2.048 to 2.102 °F)
The chemical composition of the high fusion CoCr alloy follows is in accordance to the international regulation ASTM F-1537, by following this chemical composition:

ALUMINA LINE In line with global aesthetic trends, the following cylinders are available for the sequence of Universal Posts made of Aluminum Oxide: The Alumina line, indicated to cemented unitary prosthesis without metal, has the following characteristics: • Superior aesthetics and excellent
biocompatibility; • Absence of metallic margin; • Best translucency; • Security on marginal adaptation; • Effective Mechanical properties; • No possibility of thermal conductivity or oxidation; • Excellent cost/ benefit; • Technical procedures widely known by the DENTAL TECHNICIANS.
22
Note the sequence of procedures for utilization of this product found in this catalogue. Aluminized feldspathic ceramics are suitable for the application of these Alumina cylinders. Some situations require the customization of the cylinder in order to avoid the excess of unsupported feldspathic ceramics, as following the manufacturer’s instructions of the ceramics. For this, the DENTAL TECHNICIAN must use aluminized ceramics of margin or reconstruction, fabricating the final infrastructure before the application of the porcelain.
GOLD LINE Among the metallic alloys, the cylinders for overcasting with prefabricated bases in gold are to be the first choice for the construction of prosthetic infrastructures on dental implants. Of all of the existing metallic alloys for the manufacture of dental prosthesis, none were better than the gold alloys in relation to intraoral survival time due to their following characteristics: • Excellent biocompatibility: no
cytotoxic potential (extraction test ISO 10993-5) or allergenic reaction (ISO 10993-10 maximized); • Extremely low levels of corrosion (according to regulation ISO/DIS 10271); • Excellent mechanical properties; • Reduction of friction coefficient between parts; • Increased pre-load of the prosthetic screw.
Cylinders on mini abutments and UCLAs are available in this alloy. Note the sequence of this product found in this catalogue. Important informations: • Melting range: 1.400 to 1490°C (2.552 to 2.714 °F); • Density: 17,5 g/cm3; • Coefficient of thermal expansion: 12,2µm/K (600°C).
The alloys must be chosen to be compatible with the overcasting procedure (gold or semigold) that are in accordance with regulation ISO 9693 and ISO 22674.. The thickness of the metal after overcastting should be at least 0.5 mm. Welding must be done in the range of 800 to 890°C (1.472 to 1.634 °F).
From a technical point of view, this is an alloy of easy handling for the DENTAL TECHNICIAN, since it has an optimal hardness, low capacity for deformation and a white colouring, which makes aesthetics easier. Its high fusion temperature permits overcasting with gold and semi-gold alloys and results in complete safety for the ceramic application.
The gold alloy with a high melting has the following chemical composition:

CASTABLE LINE A product line that gives to the DENTAL TECHNICIANS complete freedom to cast the infrastructure with a metallic alloy of their choice, directly over the implant platform or abutment. Often, price is the decisive factor in this choice. Therefore, the adaptation quality to the implant primarily depends on the care in handling by the professional, providing quality assurance of prosthetic components with prefabricated metallic base. After casting, we suggest that you always evaluate the adaptation of the analogues prior to cementing the crown.
The castable components are available for all cylinders on intermediary, Universal Posts and UCLAs. Note the sequence of this product found in this catalogue.
24
TITANIUM LINE Among the more traditional alloy in implantology, there is the Titanium, conforming to regulation ASTM F136Ti6Al4V. Known as Titanium grade V, it is widely used in the manufacture of provisional prosthesis. The dentist or the DPT can adapt resin crowns pre-fabricated over the cylinders and can create provisional crowns with perfect fitting and security, or even create a provisional crown directly over the cylinders, which can be used in immediate loading situations. The prosthetic components in Titanium are provided sterile, guaranteeing security and strengthening our ethical commitment with you.. Pre-fabricated components in Titanium must not be overcasted. Although Titanium has a high fusion temperature (approx 1680 ยบC), the alloy undergoes structural changes when subjected to high temperatures. Therefore, metallic alloys with Titanium base still remain a challenge to the science of dental material. The Titanium prosthetic components are offered as cylinders for all intermediates and implants, also as customized infrastructures with the Neoshape line. Note the mechanical characteristics (rotational or anti-rotational) of each case and the sequence of products found in this catalogue.

CM Implants now with Prosthetic Index
The hexagonal prosthetic index simplifies the implant installation process, reduces surgical time, increases the resistance to insertion torque and allows dentists to install the prosthesis already with a forecast for the positioning of the crown regarding the implant, thus providing even more safety, speed and flexibility to clinical and laboratorial works.
Capture and Transport of the Implant Specific drivers to the hexagonal prosthetic indexer in the implant, available for contraangle or ratchet, allow the capture of the implants directly on the package. The replacement of old mounts for these drivers guarantees greater resistance to torque, more faster and safety on procedures.
Drivers The installation drivers have six markings which match with the six faces of the hexagonal prosthetic index of implant. At the installation moment, one of these markings in driver should be in vestibular position, facilitating thus the posterior prosthetic procedure.

External Hex
The Slim Fit Line is the Neodent’s innovation for External Hex components, due to its parallel emergent profile which minimizes the bone renoval.
Reduced Osteotomy Get to know the benefits of the SLIM FIT line, and see how certain details can make all the difference: - Facilitates the fitting of the prosthetic component by reducing the interference with the cortical bone; - Preserves the cortical bone plates; - Optimizes installation; - Eases the procedures for soft tissue synthesis (stitching) by increasing the abutment’s conicity. CAD CAM SYSTEM
The Neoshape System combines the new technologies in this segment, in order to guarantee precision and quality in the production of the countless prosthetic techniques available in the market. This novelty broadens horizons, offering excellence, adaptation, precision and esthetics in a customized manner, with digital planning. With it, the prosthesis technician can plan in the PC screen, in a tri-dimensional manner, all the esthetics and functional details of the prosthesis solutions of the laboratory’s daily routine. Following the completion of the virtual polishing, a digital file is forwarded online to Neodent’s milling center. There, the information of each received case is managed. Next, the file is sent
to last generation equipments, which accurately reproduce the 3D drawings by milling, assuring precision in adaptation and finishing. The Neoshape System offers, along with its 3D modeling software, a comprehensive library of prosthetic interfaces, including: rotational external hex, anti-rotational external hex, internal hex, Morse taper, Mini Conical Abutment and Universal Post, which can be directly attached to the implant. Regardless the choice of material for prosthesis fabrication, the mechanic properties and the quality assurance are guaranteed by rawmaterials with international quality standards, supplied by controlled origin sources, reinforcing our ethical commitment.

Surgical Torque Ratchet Driver 104.027
• • • •
Available in surgical stainless steel; Extremely secure (a variation of less than 5%); Fitting for square connections; Collapsible ratchet, that allows the correct cleaning of set.
Use Instructions
The Surgical Torque Ratchet Driver was projected to allow the required torque application, and also allow that this torque be checked simultaneously with the same instrument.
For this, only apply the force on the ratchet stem, 1 until it reaches the value set in lateral graduation 2 , which corresponds to the desired torque.
The Neodent Surgical Torque Ratchet Driver has precalibrated torques: 45, 60 and 80 N.cm.
The ratchet function serves for both sides. Just pull and turn the pin driver 180°. However, the torque function is only in clockwise.
•CAUTION: When you reverse the direction of torque, the gear can be detached from the driver body and fall it. Therefore, this reversal should only be done with the driver connected to the piece or outside the patient’s mouth.

1 CONTROL PANEL WITH EASIER INTERFACE Advanced design with simple and intuitive panel. Membrane type keys, free of indentations to facilitate the asepsis.
The Neosurg XT Plus is small, light and can be easily transported anywhere. It is a product ideal for anyone who tends to more than one surgery and wishes to have just one surgical motor.
2 MECHANICAL CALIBRATION SYSTEM As well as electronic calibration, the motor has a torque ratchet to guarantee yet more precision of the micro motor and contra-angle. The calibration is executed directly by the professional, without the need for maintenance from the manufacturer.
3 PERISTALTIC PUMP CONNECTED TO THE MOTOR It´s not necessary to autoclave, the hose system is sterilisation only.
Micro Motor and Contra-angle
4 IRRIGATION SYSTEM WITH METAL CONNECTORS Allows perfect adaption of the irrigation handle, offering resistance and security. Can be sterilised.
5 MICRO MOTOR REINFORCED WITH TITANIUM COATING Use the magnetic induction system, which does not produce noises nor vibrations. High Precision of the torque and variation of speeds.
6 OPTICAL FIBER (VERSION WITH LIGHT) Rigid body of the micro motor for no risk breaking. Doesn´t lose brightness with time of use, unlike the LED.
7 CONTRA- ANGLE PUSH BOTTOM Internal and external irrigation system. Head with a reduced size and ergonomically compact body. Better visibility, access and mobility within the oral cavity.
162
INTELLIGENT CONTROL PEDAL
All adjustments of the irrigation system, programs and speeds can be triggered by the pedal, leaving the hands free for surgical procedure. It was developed to avoid the accidental activation of micro motor system (progressive acceleration).
