SUGGESTIONS
Extension of NTPFs in pasture areas is very necessary for future medicine requirement. Need for protection of NTPFs.
PEOPLES PARTICIPATION: MAIN PROBLEMS Danger to private as well govt. land due to edge cutting by Baspa river. Irrigation kuhl are in poor condition. There is no bridge on Baspa river. Natural water resources of water at raksham village are in danger. Plantation done by dept. are in danger due to grazing. Soil erosion at the banks of Baspa. Attacks of wild animals on live stock. Shone Kanda bridge is destroyed due to storm. The condition of dipping tank in Raksham area is very unhygenic.
SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT Channelisation and bank stablization by retaining walls of Baspa river. Dept. should maintain the previous done works. Bridge on river at Mastrang and Donje. Protection of natural water resources by under ground channelization by apprx. 250 mtrs. length of channel. Fencing between kandas and forest areas and constaruction of RCC Gaushala to save plantation. Plantation of conifer to stop soil erosion. Rescue centre at Raksham village to protect live stock as well as wild animals. Renovation of bridge. Maintainance of dipping tank to protect live stock from diseases.
