SUGGESTIONS
Extension of MFPs and locals to be allowed to collect MFPs.
PEOPLES PARTICIPATION: MAIN PROBLEMS Glacier movement causes huge damage to the area. Nagdum is the most floody area. Condition of paths is very poor. No senior staff is present at Vetinary. Shortage of senior staff in high school chitkul. There is no forest rest house. There is no drainage pattern in the village. There is no accomodation for aganwadi. Fuel system shortage. There is no foot bridge on Baspa river and other khads. Plantation done by forest dept. are not successful.
SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT Large structures for stoppage of glacier movement. Water flow channel of Baspa and plantation is urgently needed. Maintainance of paths is very necessary. Posting of some senior staff is very important for good health care system. Posting of some senior staff is very important for good education. Need of a forest rest house as many dignatories visit chitkul quite often. Proper drainage pattern is required. Need for construction of accomodation for aganwadi. To stop the cutting of plants authorities should provide LPG or solar systems to households.
PEOPLES PRIORITIES Top Priority.
Priority.
Provide foot bridges over these locations. Provision for chowkidar for each plantation is essential.
