SUGGESTIONS
Training camps for introducing and production of MFPs be managed for the locals.
PEOPLES PARTICIPATION: MAIN PROBLEMS Area of forest land is blank at various places and roads have created many soil erosion.
Fire hazards is the main problem in the area. Plantations done earlier are not specified as per condition of soil and climate. No environment monitoring is being done at lower levels. The condition of village paths is poor and provisions for crossing of Khads/ Nalas is there. There is no essential commodity and crockery in FRH Dharogra. There is shortage of irrigated water in whole area. No accommodation for Anganbari, Youth club and Mahila Mandal is held in the village. There is no ground for playing and central functions at Kofta village. Temple compound at damog and Dhrogra is miserable. Water conservation structures and very less in the area. Wild animals destroys the crops.
SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT Plantation of bushes in erosion places, along the link roads and check dams with crate wire be made in erosion areas. Fire services/committee be managed and Gang huts be made for them so that they control the fire hazards. More budget be allotted for fire services during fire seasons. Fire fighting training be imparted to all the villagers and fire lines be made.
PEOPLES PRIORITIES Top Priority.
Plantation be done specifically keeping in view the soil and climate condition. Environment monitoring committees be made at village levels. Maintenance of paths be done form Dharogra to Malgi Bridge, Malaun to Balgate and dharogra to Gaganghati. All the bridal paths are also required to be repaired. An inspection hut be made at Dharogra and essential commodities and crockery be provide for the FRH. Irrigated water be supplied through lift irrigation scheme from Kiar Khad to Dharogra and Siari Khad to Damog. Govt accommodation be made for Anganbari, Youth club and Mahila Mandal. A playground be made at Kofta village for central games and functions. Maintenance and fencing of the compound of both the temple is required. Van sarovar/village ponds be made at Kofta and Mandal. Management for wild animals be done to save the crops of the villagers.
