PEOPLES PARTICIPATION: MAIN PROBLEMS Plantations are being failed as the same is not looked after after planting. Climate is changing frequently and global warming is increasing.

There is shortage of drinking and irrigated water in the area. Stray cattles are destroying the crops. There is huge encroachment of govt land. Fodder shortage is increasing. There is no Rest House/Community Hall for Central programmes/meetings. The college facility is not available in the area. The same is at approx 40 Kms away from the areas.

SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT Locals be involved in the plantation and thereafter for its looking after. Maximum areas be planted to save invironment. Safeguarding and cleaning of natural resources is required. Lift irrigation scheme be provided from Satluj at approx 4 Kms Span for irrigation. Management for the stray cattles be done. All the encroachments be removed and stopped immediately. BL plants be planted in private land as well as in UPF to meet the requirement of fodder.

PEOPLES PRIORITIES

Priority.

A Community Hall be provided for the central functions/meetings. A college be opened at Kumarsain the Central Place.
