EXISTING NAME Bankakri Tirmur Chora Chukri Nihani Karvish Kashmal Lingar Banafsha Guchhi Patish Salampanja Discoria Karu Dhoop
SUGGESTIONS
People desire to collect and sell the MFPs but no permit is given to them. People want more plantations of MFPs and Herbal plants in the pasture. Technical guidance thereof be imparted to the villagers.
PEOPLES PARTICIPATION: MAIN PROBLEMS Rain water flows in the villages creating land slides and destroys the crops. There is shortage of accommodation in Senior Secondary School Rupi. Play ground is also very small. The condition of temple accomodation of Thambabir, Teras Narayan and Gurbir Devtas is very poor being very old. There is no lab and labour room in PHC. Doctor residence accomodation is not held. No doctor is posted in vaterinary as there is requirement of doctor in vaterinary being huge load of cattle in interior area. The condition of path from Rupi - Gokanda -Talpa - Vichina is damaged and nerrow. The lenth of the path is approx 38 Kms. There is shortage of drinking water in Dabling and Burang villages. There is no link roads in the area for movement of men and cattle. The wild animals usually enter in the villages and private land for food as there is paucity of wild fruits in the forest for their need. The muck of road construction is destroying private land and forest land in lower part. Some nalas are also damaging the crops and forests in the area. There is no permanent bridge on the Khads for crossing over by men and cattle.
SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT Proper drainage system of rain water be made to save the crops and other property of the villagers. Four Additional rooms be made for the School. Playground be made as 5 Bigha of land of Education already exists. Renovation of all the temple buildings is required. The foundation of Gurbir temple is required to be made with cement concrete as presently the base of the same is on rock. Good equipped lab and labour rooms be made in PHC and accommodation for doctor residence be made. Doctor be posted to the veterinary at Rupi. The path is required to be repaired and widened as most of the Gaddis use the paths for carrying their Goat and sheeps to Kandas. The water supply be provided from Talpa approx 10 Kms Pipe span. Jeepable road be made from Shorang - Rupi - Shamnu Thach approx 15 Kms. Maximum wild fruits be planted in the forests so the wild animals depend on the same in forests. Proper dumping of the muck be done and necessary check dams and walls be made and soil binders be planted to stabilize the muck. Check dams in most of the nalas be made. Foot bridges be made at Buthai, Shingarcha, Naling, Gadolang, Sparimch on Rupi Khad, Gurguri Nala on Jaba Khad and Tinrang, Rakpitang, Vichina, Dumti, Ruan on Shorang Khad.
