SUGGESTIONS
Camp for technical guidance about the MFPs be managed for the villagers.
PEOPLES PARTICIPATION: MAIN PROBLEMS Walking in the village in day and nights is very tough as the condition of the paths is very poor. There is no ground for central functions in the area. No approachable road is available from main road to Kachrang village. No LPG is available in the villages. all the people are depended on forests for fuel wood. Two crematoriums are held in the villages where no rain shedis available and path is very poor. Drainage of rain water damages the property of the villagers. The condition of village temple is very poor. No facilities of common toilets and bathrooms is available in the villages. All the check dams are destroying in the rainy seasons as they are made of dry stone. A large stone is disturbed in uphill at the top of village Middle School, which is dangerous for the lives of the children. Crossing of Satluj from Bhabanagar to village is only through rope bridge which is very difficult. Carriage of goods from Bhabanagar to Kachrang village is very tough. Shortage of drinking water exists in the village. No accommodation is held for Youth Club, Anganbari, and Community Hall.
No income generating activities are held in the area. Disturbance of project works and blasting has affected the villagers as stones are frequently dropping from uphill to the villages and damaged the paths badly.
SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT Solar lights be installed in the villages and maintenance of the village paths is required. A ground be made near the Middle School of village for Central functions. Road be made from main road to kachrang village.
PEOPLES PRIORITIES
LPG Cylinder be provided to the villagers free of cost or on subsidy. A shed be made at the place of crematorium and path be widened. Proper drainage for rain water be made in the villages. Fencing and repair of the temple is required. Common toilets and bathroom be made for the villagers.
Priority.
All the check dams are required to be made with crate wire and strong. The stone is required to be removed immediately. Bridge be made from Bhabanagar to Kachrang village is required. Span be installed from Kachrang to Bhabanagar to meet the requirement. Drinking water be supplied from Parwa to Kachrang through pipeline at approx 5 Kms span. Accommodation be made for all these communities and a ground is also required for Central functions.
Top Priority.
Priority.
Small income generating plants be opened in the area for seeking employment by the villagers. Project authorities be warraned to manage for the droppings stones and not to damage the property of villagers.
