SUGGESTIONS
Not being collected by locals for marketing purpose as the things are very less.Only MFPs are collected for self use.
PEOPLES PARTICIPATION: MAIN PROBLEMS Land dryed due to blastings in underground tunnel of HEP Jakhri. HT lines are badly affecting crops, moisture and human life as they are dangerous for human life. Grazing lands are not available. Water resources minimized due to heavy blastings in HEP tunnel. Local natural water resources have been diverted to another places.
SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT Irrigation scheme for pvt land is required from Bajwa Khad at a distance of 16 Kms. Corridor system for all HT lines be done to avoid any type of loss to human and property. Area for grazing of cattle be defined. Large size storage tanks be constructed at natural resources and proper cleaning and distribution be done.
PEOPLES PRIORITIES
Augment of drinking and irrigated water to grow crops and vegetables.
