PEOPLES PARTICIPATION: MAIN PROBLEMS Land of villagers of Kafaur is cutting due to flow of water of Kandlu and Chatrey Nala. Drainage system for rain water is not held in Kafaur and Shilani Vishnu Temple. There is no ground and fencing at Hema Devi Temple at Kafaur, Shesh Nag Temple at Shilani and High School Kafaur. No facilities of common toilets is available at Kafaur. Storage system of water is not available for the villages. Irrigation system in the area is not available. Old forests are destroying day by day. There is lack of Timber for making and repairs of houses. There is a natural pond at the top of Chaura Kanda which is in miserable condition.
SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT Check dams with cement concrete be made to divert the flow of the water.
PEOPLES PRIORITIES
Proper drainage system for rain water be made at both the places. Grounds and fencing of all these temples and school is required. Common Toilets be made at Kafaur. Storage tanks for drinking water be made at Kafaur, Shilani and Chaura. Irrigation Kuhal from Kandlu Khad to Chaura approx 15 Kms be made for irrigation purposes. New plantations be done in old forests to maintain the forests green. Ban on TD be lifted or Timber be distributed through Depots. Maintenance of the natural Pond is required to store rain water therein for cattle.
Priority.
