From the President Jason Horner September has arrived. Did the summer go by as quickly for you as it did for me? I love summer and its myriad of fun activities but also welcome the return of cooler and less humid weather that autumn brings. I hope you have had a chance to enjoy your Porsche(s) and some of the great FSRs activities this year. If not, there are still plenty of opportunities to join in on the fun. FSR continues to grow, and I am thrilled by the amount of Porsche enthusiasm and it is always fun meeting new members at our events. our roster now includes nearly 681 primary members and 384 affiliate members. We have 66 new members so far this year which is getting close to the record of 110 we had joined in 2015. (“Jason Horner - President, First Settlers Region”)
our 1083 members reside in over 150 different cities in our region with Virginia Beach claiming the most with 225, followed by Chesapeake with 106, and Richmond coming in with 100. As you might have guessed the 911 is the most popular model with 388 ranging in years from 1965 to the current model year. Boxsters come in at 109, Caymans at 63, 14 Cayenne’s, with Macans and Panameras being tied at eight each, and all the others making up the rest with the oldest listed being a 1949 356. Blank is the most favorite color; seriously 525 members left the color of their car blank. Black is the most popular color, followed by silver, white, and then red. With the most interesting listed as “Ticket Me” red. We are approaching that time of year again for elections, and our nominating committee will be announced soon. Many of us on the board including myself have reached our term limit. So now is the time to toss your name in the hat, have some friendly competition, and serve your club as an officer or Committee Chair. Remember this is your club and we are always looking for new ideas and to fill the termed-out board positions or to just give others a break and to keep them from becoming burned out. The continued success of your club depends on volunteers ranging from event chairs to your board of directors. If you have participated in any of our charity events, De’s, fun-runs, or other events you have seen first-hand the effort being put into organizing these events. If you have any questions or would like more information about a particular position please contact any board member or myself. School is back in session and I urge you to slow down and use caution as students return to school along with being aware of your local school zones and their speed limits. Remember it is not only school buses and children to be looking out for, but also the student driver who will be on the road driving to high school for the first time and is not accustomed to the hazards of everyday driving as many us may be. Daylight is getting shorter and this is an especially important time to check your driving behavior and ensure you are practicing the safest driving habits. Seize the day – there is no time like the present to enjoy your Porsche. See you on the road!

on July 23rd First Settlers Region hosted its New Member Meet & Greet Social at The Bay Club at eagle Pointe in Chesapeake. Seventeen of the eighty-five registrations were new members! This was the biggest turnout ever for this event, evidence of the growing reach of the Porsche brand, but also affirmation of the outreach and welcoming environment of First Settlers Region.
PORSCHE
The success of this event prompted a change of venue for this year’s event. The Bay Club was perfect for this type of event; the room was bright and warmly decorated, there was plenty of parking for our Porsches right outside the door. The ambiance was enhanced by the latin sounds of guitarist John Bormeo. To encourage folks to meet Kathy Kent brought a “mixer” – she distributed one-half of a playing card to each person in attendance – the challenge was to find the person with the other half of your playing card.

What is your favorite personal car-related story? I had looked at Porsches casually but they were simply beyond our finances. In october 1971 while on a long TDy to White Sands NM, I went to the dealer in el Paso TX. They had one 71 911T left and several 72 911s in the showroom. The dealer really discounted the 1971 which had exactly what I wanted. And stretching our finances, we could get my "dream

There are still a few more Saturdays to enjoy the Cruise-in in 2016. First Settlers is “hosting” the event on September 24th and October 8th.
Following the period for socializing and light fare Kent Thomas introduced the new members in attendance and distributed door prizes. It was a great evening – we received many positive comments on the event and the venue. Many thanks to Beth Wiegan for sponsoring us at The Bay Club.
First Settlers & Tidewater Chapter BMWCCA BBQ
earlier this year John Kopp introduced me to Ron Boustedt, Secretary of the Tidewater Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America. Ron proposed that his club and FSR host a joint BBQ and informal car show at his place in the Deep Creek area of Chesapeake. We picked a date – July 30th and Ron put me in contact with Al Schneider, their Activities Director, and we started planning. The idea seemed popular – there were over 100 people for the event. Ron’s place has abundant parking to display the cars and there were plenty of great Porsches and BMWs to admire. The BBQ was German themed, with brats and chops and plenty of refreshments. The local band More Cowbell provided entertainment. Refreshments were sorely needed since we were still in an extended heat wave here in Tidewater, but at least the thunderstorms held off until everyone had
headed home. It was great event and both clubs have agreed to do it again next year. HoRIzoNTAlly oPPoSeD

Our own Parade
(con’t from page 9)
By Vince Canepa When we missed out on onsite housing for Parade at Jay Peak, Vermont, we quickly decided to “build our own” trip. We had several destinations on our wish list, including Frank lloyd Wright’s “Fallingwater” in southwestern Pennsylvania, Montreal and Quebec City, the Concours at Parade, Stowe in Vermont and New york City. our goals were to minimize travel on major highways, maximize top down motoring, limit daily distances to around 300 miles and spend enough time at each destination to relax and enjoy the area. We sat down with some maps (the old fashioned paper kind and “new” fashioned Google Maps), and laid out a 2,600-mile loop to be taken over a two-week period.
along the lake and river shores are less interesting with little elevation change and less curves, but we did get an occasional vista of the river and the weather was very pleasant so we were able to enjoyably run with the top down. Montreal is cosmopolitan, modern and very walk-able city with a deep history. We had plans to explore the city, but first we wanted to drop in at Parade on the day of the Concours.
Jay Peak is about 90 miles from Montreal, so we headed south and reached the resort in mid-morning. Almost immediately after parking we struck up a friendship with a PCA member from Montreal, Joe lapin! After some friendly conversation, he “Montreal’s Notre Dame” offered to give us a ride in his 911 down to the Concours site where we found the our first destination was Addison, Pennsylvania, a tiny town of about judges surrounding George and Pam Michaels beautiful 928. 250 people about 15 miles from “Fallingwater” in the laurel Highlands Supporting the Michaels were the Jeff and Jen Coston and Alex Bell. area of Pennsylvania. Why Addison? The simply splendid Hartzell We ambled through the Concours field admiring the cars but also noting House B&B; we highly recommend it if you are in the area. We took where they came from. Not surprisingly the field was heavily weighted US50 west from Winchester and then headed north towards Addison with cars from the eastern part of the US. Walking through the modern on US219. It was a great drive to start the trip, through towns with cars we ran into Bret Jacobson and Melinda Cagle and, just as we were names like Mt. Storm, oakland and Accident, with lots of twisty bits and looking for place to have lunch, Jason Horner and family drove up. After elevation changes. “Fallingwater” is a must see for anyone with even lunch we finished our Parade experience with the historic collection and a passing interest in architecture. Built in the mid-1930’s the home is then headed back to Montreal. an icon – magnificently integrated into the terrain - cantilevered out over a waterfall on Bear Run – a stream that runs through the property. Also We probably needed more time in Montreal, but we did take an excellent in town was the National Chainsaw Carving Festival, an art that walking tour of historic old Montreal, visited l’oratoire Saint-Joseph du surprised us with the delicacy of the figures the carvers created. The Mont-Royal and enjoyed a rooftop cocktail and a splendid dessert with festival even included a classic old town parade right in front of the inn. a view of the city. Next up was Montreal. We broke the trip into two days, taking mostly twisty, rolling (!) country roads, but picking up I-99 at Hollidaysburg up to Corning, New york (a beautiful, scenic interstate). In New york we reverted back to smaller roads through Watkins Glen and the Seneca Wine Region along the eastern shore of Seneca lake to Seneca Falls. Seneca Falls has some interesting history; it was linked by canals to Cayuga lake and the erie Canal and, the Seneca Falls Convention held July 19–20, 1848, was the first women's rights convention organized by women explicitly for the purpose of discussing women's rights as such. one interesting find along the route – all the way from southwestern Pennsylvania up through the Finger lakes region – large Amish farms and, of course, Amish folks traveling in their horse drawn buggies. We did not know how much a presence they have in the area. After a nice overnight stay at The Gould Hotel we continued along the shore of lake ontario and the Saint lawrence River to “Vince Canepa enjoying the “fruits” Montreal. Honestly, the roads of a road trip” HoRIzoNTAlly oPPoSeD
The drive to Quebec City can be boring (Autoroute 20 is as close to a straight line as humanly possible) and we couldn’t find much in the way of side roads. We did cross over to Route 40 on the north side of the river at Trois-Rivières and that was a bit better. our hotel was right on Place d'youville, just a few steps from the gate to the walled city and a short walk to the old port. Walking is a good workout in the historic area – the streets are steep! The city was great fun, an old europe experience, but the highlight of our stay was Ile d’orleans, an island about 3 miles east of the city. our day on the island was a perfect Boxster day, top down, hopping along from farm (fabulous fresh strawberries) to bakery (yummy French pastries) to chocolatier (we enjoyed the chocolate covered marshmallows on a stick) to winery (black current specialties) to art galleries. We literally ate our way around the island! our Canadian venture over, we managed to find some lovely country roads back over the border, leading us to Stowe for the night. The weather was perfect for a relaxed dinner at an outdoor table at “Plate” on Main Street, where we saw several interesting cars cruising along– several Boxsters and 911s, a Maserati Gran Turismo and a Ferrari 365 GT Berlinetta Boxer, a rare sight in the US since they were never officially imported. our final stop was New york City to see our daughter, who lives in Chelsea, before heading back to Virginia. As if to say “welcome back to the Mid-Atlantic”, the skies opened up in Dover, Delaware and the

Sunday was planned for a leisurely departure at 1000. A quick trip eastbound on I-64, back over Afton Mountain, brought us to the King Family Vineyard near Crozet. We enjoyed a wine tasting and casual lunch catered by Durty Nellies from Charlottesville. Thanks to Gary Hagar, a PCA member from the Shenandoah Region, for the great sandwiches! The added bonus to the afternoon at the King Family winery was the chance to watch a “Brian and Karen Bremenstuhl enjoying a polo match. A few observations after two weeks on the road: first, the Boxster is remarkably comfortable for a long road trip. Second, it can carry a lot of stuff. We had two 22” carry-ons, a rucksack, a garment bag, a shoe bag, a small painting and various other “stuff”. All of it fit easily. Third, bring good paper maps. Nav systems aren’t very good at directing you towards the smaller, more interesting roads. We used paper maps, preprinted Google directions (use the “avoid highways” option) and the “Map” feature on the Nav system. It was old-fashioned touring with a few modern tools. And fourth, the US is full of really fun, challenging roads to explore in a Porsche. We experienced narrow twisty sections, really hilly roads with blind crests, fast open roads, city traffic, just about everything possible, and every mile was a blast!

Finally, on August 11th, 51 weeks after meeting Chuck to consider whether this might be for me, I visited the factory to get fitted in the seats, decide on mirror locations and hammer out the punch list for the last two weeks prior to driving the car home. The guys at the shop were great and, in the four hours I was there, I realized exactly how cool it was to meet the guys who were building my car. I may never have this opportunity again but, for this one time, it was so exciting to see a car built from the ground up to my very own tastes.

“Another classic road in Quebec City”
By the time you read this, I will have the car home. (look for an article on that road trip to follow). My buddy Trip is flying in from Italy to Columbus, ohio on August 26th, and with any luck, I'll pick him and his small backpack up from his hotel by 10:30am on the 27th! We'll chart a course for Charleston, West Virginia, then into western Virginia with hopes of making the entire trip from Bremen, Indiana to Chesapeake in a single day. After all, when's the next time I'll make a 13.5 hour drive in a Beck 904 GTS?

What’s precious to you is precious to us.
let me start by saying I believe I can speak on behalf of all of us in FSR when I extend a huge thanks to Phil Grandfield for all of his tireless efforts to produce a first rate club newsletter. Many thanks, Phil…we all appreciate you! ok, back to my article, so Phil doesn't hunt me down to make sure it’s on time as I promised :)
SM S
E C O F R I E N D LY. WITHOUT SACRIFICE.
As a kid, I was always enamored with the 911. I contracted the disease at approximately six years old and I'm most certainly incurable now. When I had the opportunity to obtain my first long hood example about three years ago, I ended up with a wonderful 1973 2.4l 911T. The car's only real downside is a less than perfect color change. Not to worry, however, since a lifelong partnership means reciprocating the joy one receives by putting love back into the union. And so, I'll begin a full nut and bolt restoration of the '73 later this year. (More on that down the road…) But then what can I drive and enjoy while my early 911 is being restored?!? enter Beck 904 GTS, a modern replica of the now famous Porsche 904 Carrera GTS, the first wholly fiberglass bodied Porsche designed for both street and race and hailed by many to be Porsche's most beautiful car ever built. With approximately 108 built between 1963 and 1964 you could expect to pay seven figures for even the least desirable original example of these now 52-year old icons. Contrast this with the 300hp, 1750-pound Beck 904 GTS in a turnkey configuration for less than the price of a new Carrera. With performance specs approaching GT3 RS territory the Beck becomes a very interesting value proposition.

last year in August of 2015, I was one of the first couple hundred visitors to the new Porsche experience Center in Atlanta…fantastic in its own right. That was the second half of a day I'll never forget the day I met Chuck Beck. For those of you who aren't familiar, Chuck is the founder of Beck Development Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia. Chuck is renowned for replicas of 550 Spyders and 356 Speedsters. Unlike so many of the commonly available replicas which use a rear engine Volkswagen chassis from a ‘50’s or ‘60’s Beetle, Chuck started with a tube-frame chassis and a ground up design of his own. Some believe that Chuck's replicas are the best and, in fact, I've recently been told that Porsche has even used his replicas in their promos in lieu of driving museum cars on the road. of course, that didn't keep Porsche from ensuring Chuck didn't infringe on their trademarks, but the factory admittedly likes what Chuck has done. I can't think of a better compliment from either side. As a result of his chassis designs and engine pairings many Beck products actually appreciate over time.

Chuck met me at the airport and drove me to his shop somewhere out in the country, far from downtown Atlanta. He's a real character, and I could write an entire article just about the stories he told me. In the interest of fitting this article in a single issue I'll “Chassis in the jig” recommend a youTube video that will give you a little insight into this brilliant man. Car Builder Chuck Beck". He's 80 years old this year, and still finishing up yet another modern redesign, this time for the 356C Coupe.

to realize that the two of them together gave him enough to develop his own fiberglass body mold. By 2003, Chuck had begun developing his “baby” - the Beck 904. In 2007, they produced the first 904 at Special edition and Chuck began traveling to Indiana every month or two to help the “Doors being bonded” production team overcome the inevitable hurdles associated with first time production of a fully new design. Although the start was slow they have now produced over 30 of these spectacular 904 replicas; six of them in 2016. of additional note, Chuck’s son, Randy, has been racing his 904 for many years, claiming 2nd place in the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix in 2015 and 1st place in 2016.
An important thing to note is that Chuck loves to redesign and develop cars. This is similar to Singer, which backdates and reimagines 964 “Body sanding before painting” series cars as early 911's. However, When Chuck is finished with a design he prefers to move on to another challenge. From Spyders to Speedsters to the 904 GTS and now the 356C Coupes, once he's fully reimagined and developed the replica, he passes production off to Special edition, Inc. in Bremen, Indiana. Kevin and Carey Hines of Special edition have known Chuck since the 80's. The story goes that Chuck brought his roller 550 Spyder to a large kit-car show where Kevin was selling a similar kit (a different marque) for the same money as Chuck's. The difference was that Kevin's kit included an engine. Well, Chuck walked over and told Kevin that it's impossible to offer his car with an engine for the same money as Chuck's, since Chuck knows how much they cost to build. After Chuck shared that he was laying the fiberglass bodies here in the US Kevin explained that his bodies were being produced in Brazil. A trip or two to Brazil with Kevin after the show and Chuck had not only found a new body supplier, he also found a new production partner. And since Chuck prefers to develop instead of produce, this allowed him to move on to his second car, the 356 Speedster.
After visiting Chuck to make sure I could fit in the 904 GTS I instantly fell in love. The next step was to talk to the fellas at Special edition. Today Kevin's son, Carey, has all but taken over the business from Kevin (who like Chuck, is no longer working for anything other than the love of it). After a couple of calls to Carey, I was sold, and in october, I sent Carey my deposit for the last build they had planned for 2016, chassis number 35. I just couldn’t take a chance on losing the last spot for 2016! Carey was fantastic, explaining my options and providing detailed explanations, pros and cons for every choice. Since this wasn’t an original 904, and I had all the latitude afforded to commissioning a custom build, I chose to have a period correct but "never before on a 904" color, Bahama yellow (Porsche paint code 6805). After all, a 41.9" tall car would need to be visible on the road! Finally, I was on to the options... • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •
Fast forward another 10-15 years, and Chuck ran across a couple old wrecked 1964 904 Carrera GTS race cars. It didn’t take much for Chuck (cont. on page 10)

The entire process was followed up by confirmations from Carey and the build began shortly after Christmas. By the end of January, a 993 motor became available from a low mileage West Coast car with known service history and, within a couple weeks, I received a picture of my 904's new heart. Just about every week to follow a couple more pics would be sent as well... (cont. on page 12)

“Porsches in the Mountains” - Charity Event 2016
Heading to the hotel to start a party.
By Phil Grandfield Jeff and Jen Coston took a trip to Richwood a couple of weeks after the flood and came back with stories and photos of the devastation. Richwood is a poor, but proud, small town and they needed help. over many phone calls, Josie contacted the coordinators in Richwood to ask what we could do. We made another trip to Richwood to meet local folks working to rebuild their town and see for ourselves if we could be a positive impact. It was easy to see but hard to understand what they are facing. Two hundred and fifty homes were damaged (15 completely destroyed), the local high school will have to be demolished and much of the industrial section of town, including the only large grocery store, was destroyed and can’t be rebuilt in the same floodplain location.
The annual charity event held at the historic Stonewall Jackson Hotel in Staunton, VA was a huge success again in 2016. We had 70 members make the drive to the Shenandoah mountain, learn a little bit about the local history and, most importantly, we raised $17,201.27 for charity!!! The members of the First Setters Region continue to show their community spirit with acts of kindness and charity for those less fortunate. This weekend broke another record for giving. Thanks for your continued support of our charity program with your caring and generosity!!
The planning for the annual charity event starts months in advance. This year was a bit different because our spring calendar was filled early with a memorable visit to the Ingram Porsche Collection in Durham NC. once we settled on the Relief organizations were August 26-28th weekend, the “Ready to off-load the building supplies in Richwood, WV” helping with short term food, second step was to pick a fun water and other essentials but location. The Stonewall Jackson what they needed was building supplies and grass seed to help stem Hotel is in the heart of downtown Staunton with plenty of things to see erosion. They also needed a stove, washer and dryer to replace broken and do within a few blocks of the hotel. Plus, it is only short drive to units in a church rectory being used to house the volunteer construction some of the best mountains roads in Virginia! workers from a relief organization in Pennsylvania. Josie Grandfield, our Charity Coordinator, contacted the hotel and Josie got to work on the phones and around town to get HH Gregg to starting making arrangements. The staff was very accommodating, offer the appliances at their cost and Kempsville Building Materials to offered discounted guest rooms and gave us a meeting room for our offer discounts on sub-flooring, plywood and nails. They also donated informal gatherings free of charge. We then came up with plans for $1500 worth of much needed insulation. Jeff Coston donated some the weekend to include a Welcome Party, Fun Run and the Silent grass seed and Auction during dinner. Josie wanted to find a way to enjoy historic arranged similar downtown Staunton as part of the weekend and came up with the idea donations from Turf for the “Poker Walk”. It was a fun twist on the traditional “Poker Run” & Garden, Snipes where we walked through town picking playing cards from various lawn and locations to build a poker hand. But more about that later. landscape, and North Suffolk lawn Josie took a trip to Staunton in June to visit the hotel event coordinator Service. Josie and scout out stops for the Fun Run and lunch. It was during this coordinated a Uweekend visit that the plans for our charity weekend changed and the Haul truck to haul scope expanded. It’s horrible! We √ 0630: Reveille, reveille, reveille!! have to do something for these people”. The weekend festivities started with a Welcome Party on Friday night at the hotel. It was a fun, casual way to start the weekend and interesting to learn the various roads people picked to find their way to Staunton. Not everyone took I-64. We gathered back in the Hospitality Suite at 0800 on Saturday for coffee and fruit. The Driver’s Meeting started promptly at 0900 and we were off! The first stop was a rendezvous point about eight miles west of the hotel in Churchville. The sight of 34 Porsches lined along the street was great! “lined up for the Fun Run”
More great service loading the three boxes onto the truck. Thanks for selling them to us at cost!
√ 1030: Kempsville Building Materials at 3300 Business Center Drive in Suffolk. We found the business office for the paperwork and were directed to Building 6 for the lumber. Gave the paperwork to a forklift driver in the yard who found our prepared stack of 56 sheets of ¾ inch subflooring, 49 sheets of ½ inch plywood and 10 big boxes of nails. It was interesting to watch two forklift drivers coordinating to get the pallets loaded into a box truck! Then we were directed to Building 8 for the insulation. Saw the stack of insulation and questioned our measurements that determined it would all fit. It did. Special thanks to Jeff Coston who came by to help load the truck, figuring correctly, that the yard workers couldn’t do it all.
“This is NoT the line for the restroom - but it could be!
The drive continued along Hwy 39, over the mountains and down into Warm Springs. We turned right on Hwy 220 up the valley towards Monterey. This is a very scenic drive and one you should put on your list of Virginian “Things-to-Do”. It was easy to keep the cars together with the few cars we encountered pulling over and waving as they let us pass.
√ 1130: Turf & Garden in Suffolk to load 50-lb bags of grass seed worth $643. Had my cellphone on mute and speaker for a work related call with Josie holding it while I was loading. Pulled the door shut and hit the road after a quick lunch. Thanks to Jeff Coston for the coordination.
lunch was at the historic Highland Inn in Monterey. Built in 1904, this classic hotel is still the “Pride of the Mountains”. They opened for lunch just to accommodate our group and we filled up every seat in both dining rooms! We had some time after lunch to allow people to walk up the street to sample cider at the new Big Fish Cider Co. It’s impossible to miss the place with a 40-foot trout on the roof!
√ 1630: Stopped at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel in Staunton to offload the supplies for the charity weekend. Don’t know how much weight was in the truck but it drove fine, even up the Afton Mountain on I-64. √ 1730: Dinner with the Costons at the Mill Street Grill. Always a treat to eat there.
The drive back to Staunton was along Hwy 250 though tiny, quaint villages, over classic fishing streams and over a few mountain ridges. This is my favorite driving road in Virginia and compares to the famous Tail of the Dragon in NC. only much closer to home and less tiring. We made it back to the hotel with plenty of time to relax or tour downtown before dinner.
√ 1900: Back on the road to lewisburg WV and the Hampton Inn. A great view of the sunset in the mountains from the cab of the U-Haul. Felt like a long haul trucker. √ 2100: Checked into the Hampton Inn along with the Costons. Hampton Inns really all do look and feel the same. Not a bad thing.
Dinner was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. More importantly, everyone was in a charitable mood and the competition at the Silent Auction was fun. We certainly had some great items to bid on this year. The competition continued into the “Poker Walk” with everyone grabbing a score sheet and a set of directions before setting off on foot.
Friday, September 26th
√ 0800: Breakfast in the hotel lobby then manning “Pam, Ruthie and Diana thinking they will all be up the U-Haul with escort winners in the Silent Auction” provided by a Boxster and Cayman for the drive though the real mountains of West Virginia.
“Mary and Michael Ball at the dinner party. Thanks for the photos!”
The first card was selected before leaving the dining room. The other stops included The Woodrow Wilson Presidential library, Mary Baldwin University and the Clock Tower Restaurant. All the sites had local historic significance and were all part of the plan to make the event fun for everyone! The last cards were selected back at the hotel with a chance to improve your hand by buying more cards. Congratulations to Brian Woodard for his winning Four-ofa-Kind!! He barely edged out his wife Janice who had a full house!
√ 1000: Arrived at the National Guard Armory in Richwood to offload the supplies. They were expecting us and got right to work. We heard more stories about what the town is going through and how much they appreciated what we were doing for them. Made it all worth it. only wish we could have brought more supplies and a bigger truck.
√ 1200: on the road back to Staunton for the rest of the weekend. √ 1500: Parked the U-Haul in the Walmart parking lot to sit until Sunday. HoRIzoNTAlly oPPoSeD
The drive took us to Goshen and a stop at the local library to use the rest room. Josie coordinated in advance and they were expecting us. So were the local Sheriffs who stopped the traffic to help us get underway again. I think our Porsches were the highlight of their day!

Beck 904 GTS Build By Kevin Pirkle

The added bonus to the afternoon at the King Family winery was the chance to watch a “Brian and Karen Bremenstuhl enjoying a polo match. on July 23rd First Settlers Region hosted its New Member Meet & Greet Social at The Bay Club at eagle Pointe in Chesapeake.

In october 1971 while on a long TDy to White Sands NM, I went to the dealer in el Paso TX. They had one 71 911T left and several 72 911s in the showroom.
