Chancel Park Pinhoe Exeter Just over 3 miles from the centre of one of the West of England’s biggest and most vibrant cities, Chancel Park in Pinhoe, is a perfect place to live for first time buyers, growing families, downsizers – in fact absolutely everyone. Pinhoe – once a rural village, mentioned in the Domesday Book as ‘Pinnoch’ – is now firmly established on the eastern fringes of the City. It has local shops, pubs, a post office and more, all on your doorstep. Around half a mile away from Chancel Park is Pinhoe Station; trains into Exeter take around ten minutes. Pinhoe is perfect for families, with a recently re-built primary/junior school. On the same site, in a new building, is a popular pre-school for under 5s. There are also good new secondary schools nearby. One of the many good features of Chancel Park is its excellent transport links. As well as having the station within walking distance, the M5 (junction 29) is less than 2 miles away and Exeter International Airport is around 4 miles away, so getting out and about is never a problem – and there’s no shortage of places to get out and about to! Beautiful Dartmoor National Park is 12 miles away, while the coast and beaches at Exmouth are just 10 miles away. If you’re feeling energetic, Exeter Arena offers athletics and a wide range of other sports, while Exeter Golf and Country Club – very welcoming for families and beginners – is just under 4 miles away. Exeter itself, of course, offers a host of things to see and do, including excellent shops, theatres, cinemas, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. There’s the historic cathedral, several museums and a lot more besides. All in all, this is an excellent place to live – especially in a new George Wimpey home at Chancel Park.

The George Wimpey landscape policy ensures you have the best possible environment to live in
