Outdoor activities The homes at Miller Central are just a few minutes walk from the River Rea Heritage Trail, a fascinating waterside walk that runs for around eight miles from the Wasely Hills down to Cannon Hill Park, one of Birmingham’s most popular venues for family outings. The Trail passes through many historic and recreational areas including Daffodil Park, close to the development, and provides a habitat for a rich variety of wildlife. The nearby Bartley Reservoir, home of the Bartley Sailing Club, is also an important site for bird life. Birmingham Great Park, one of the city’s newest leisure venues, is set in pleasant landscaping around two miles away and includes a health and fitness club and a bowling alley. Entertainment The Birmingham Great Park complex includes a 13-screen Empire cinema, and Frankie and Benny’s and Chiquito’s restaurants. Miller Central is also within walking distance of a good selection of cafes and pubs, including The Woodpecker which serves meals and has a beer garden. From Birmingham city centre Leave the city centre by the A38 following signs for Bromsgrove. At the traffic lights at Black Horse Junction (with a Sainsbury’s store on the right) keep straight on and then take the sixth left turn, around half a mile beyond the Black Horse Junction, into Hawkesley Mill Lane. At the next junction, turn right and follow the road as it turns right then left. Miller Central is on the right.

From the M5 Leave the M5 at junction 4 to join the A38 following signs for Birmingham South West. After three and a half miles, with the Bourneville Training College on the left, take the first exit at the roundabout to stay on the A38. Take the fourth right turn, around three quarters of a mile further on, into Hawkesley Mill Lane. At the next junction, turn right and follow the road as it turns right then left. Miller Central is on the right.
