Orchard Place Evesham
Orchard Place Evesham
The historic riverside town of Evesham is situated in the beautiful county of Worcestershire, alongside the River Avon. Its position combines a thriving town, fantastic days out and excellent transport links for easy commuting. This lively market town, situated in the centre of the famous horticultural Vale of Evesham is packed full of things to do. The region has been well known for fruit and vegetable growing since medieval times with asparagus its speciality – don’t miss the Great British Asparagus Festival which takes place from late April for 2 months! Another feature of the area is the wonderful sight of the apple and plum trees providing swathes of colourful blossom during the Spring. Evesham is certainly the place to be if you enjoy outdoor pursuits. Walking, cycling and riding are all readily available on the doorstep. If you prefer something a little more relaxing there are plenty of traditional pubs, bars, restaurants and clubs to keep you entertained. The town also benefits from vibrant open air markets located in the Market Place every Saturday, with additional Farmers Markets and Sunday Markets offering locally produced foods, gifts and clothing. Originally built within a loop of the River Avon, Evesham has a close link with the river where fishing and boating prove to be popular pastimes throughout the year. There is a spectacular River Festival in July with a
colourful display of illuminated boats and fireworks and it is also home to the renowned Evesham (Angling) Festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Local Information
There are many festivals and events locally all year round as part of a thriving arts, culture and music scene. The Arts Centre boasts a wide variety of entertainment ranging from pantomine to ballet, stand-up comedy to brass bands and jazz music to drama, drawing local audiences and also those from neighbouring counties.
Stratford-upon-Avon Cheltenham Worcester Birmingham Oxford London
The Victorian bandstand in Abbey Park provides music during the summer months and the town’s fascinating history can be discovered at the Bell Tower, which is the only major remaining building of the once great Abbey. The Heritage Centre at the 14th century ‘Almonry’, which was once the home of the Abbey’s Almoner, documents the history of the great Abbey with a host of interesting artefacts. There are also many other attractions nearby: from the picturesque Cotswold villages of Broadway and Chipping Campden, to the bustling market town of Pershore, famed for its magnificient Abbey, and not forgetting the splendour of Regency Cheltenham. And with easy access to the M5, M42 and M50 plus a mainline train station, Orchard Place is in a perfect location.

The Name on the Finest Homes What is the indefinable quality about a Charles Church home that makes it so special, and makes so many aspire to owning one?
When Charles and Susanna Church laid the foundations of their first home in 1965, they were doing more than building a desirable residence. They were turning their vision of the perfect home into a benchmark for quality and a legacy for future generations to appreciate. Over four decades later, their principles remain the cornerstone of every home we build and it is the firm emphasis of the Group to combine quality with aesthetically pleasing designs and traditional building techniques. This philosophy has led us to enjoy an unrivalled reputation for over forty years. We pride ourselves not only on providing excellent examples of traditional construction and craftsmanship but also on the elegance and character of our homes which are designed to harmonise with their natural surroundings. We utilise fully the interior space of our homes combining every modern and efficient convenience within classic, timeless and elegant exteriors.
We recognise the importance of providing our customers with the opportunity to add character to their home through a wide choice of colour schemes, making certain that quality, service and value are inherent in all we undertake. We also have a clear and practical approach to sustainability and fully support the Government's Code for Sustainable Homes. The national code standards are an important factor in the way we build and design both our developments and our homes. Our exacting standards and attention to detail at every stage of the construction process play an integral part in achieving a totally unmistakable quality and sense of style. This unique combination of principles ensures that our homes and developments continue to win an ever increasing number of prestigious consumer, industry and media awards. The ultimate winner however, is the buyer of a Charles Church home.
