PROVIDENCE PLACE
Where life is complete
The Hamptons The vision is complete Thirty acres of homes, thirty acres of parkland, only thirty minutes from London. St James always envisaged The Hamptons as a complete environment where inspired architecture, nature and community would live tranquilly together, each consecutive phase adding new choices. All of this has been achieved. Three distinct yet integrated neighbourhood areas are established, surrounded by woodland, lakes and parks. Community life flourishes. Diverse architectural styles create striking streetscenes, and a palette

of naturally inspired materials and colours brings freshness and vivacity. There is nothing quite like The Hamptons, and not surprisingly, it has become a highly sought after place to live.
The Hamptons
Four distinct neighbourhoods inspired by tradition The Hamptons has unfolded over time in four distinct phases, each with its own identity but building up towards the complete picture. First, New England Place was inspired by the traditional buildings of the north eastern United States, with the Maple Lodge community building as its centrepiece. Norfolk Waterside reflected the rural scene of the English Fens and Broads, while Somerset Quarter brought the warmth and colours of the West Country to The Hamptons. The fourth and final phase is Providence Place, taking its cue from the waterside buildings of Scandinavia.
Previous phases at The Hamptons
The Hamptons is designed for a community centred lifestyle, and the thirty acres of parkland make the perfect environment for enjoying it. The pace of life is relaxed and friendly, as residents get to know their neighbours and new friendships are forged. Families in particular feel very much at home here, as children can play and ride their bikes in the park and traffic calmed zones make the environment safer.
The Hamptons
regularly organises events such as tennis tournaments, quiz nights, barbeques and fireworks displays. The Hamptons even has its own amphitheatre, a setting for outdoor concerts and plays. Life at The Hamptons is thriving; exactly as it was meant to be.

Life is a
walk in the park
An abundance of open space is a feature that really sets The Hamptons apart. It creates a real sense of belonging, and the homes are designed wherever possible to have open views of the parkland surroundings.
Mayflower Park is the centrepiece of The Hamptons, containing wildlife habitats, gently landscaped areas and woodlands. It also has man-made features such as the tennis courts, amphitheatre and trim trail, encouraging personal fitness and sociability. Behind it are the six main lakes, linked by rills. Elsewhere you’ll come across other pockets of green, orchards, reed beds, ponds and children’s play areas, all designed to be used and enjoyed. Open parklands to enjoy at The Hamptons

The heart of the
community At the heart of The Hamptons is Maple Lodge, the distinctive white New England style community building which contains a fully equipped gym, fitness rooms, a planned business suite and meeting space and is a focal point of local life.

The Hamptons A well connected lifestyle The Hamptons may feel like a world apart, but St James has not forgotten that people also need to get to work, go to school, shop, and socialise, so the location was chosen for its convenient links as well as its natural attractions. From Worcester Park station, which is within walking distance, journey times to London Waterloo are less than thirty minutes, and the A3 is just a short drive away, connecting you to the M25, Heathrow and Gatwick. Worcester Park has a good selection of shops, a range of restaurants, and within

a one mile radius there are schools for nursery, primary and secondary level education. Neighbouring Kingston, Sutton and Wimbledon all offer further choices for shopping, education, eating out, cinema and theatre. For those who prefer not to own a car, The Hamptons has a Streetcar club with two cars which can be hired by the hour, day or week.

Choice
and character at Providence Place
Lakes
Providence Place is divided into various neighbourhood areas, each with its own architectural flavour and identifiable character connected, through its language, to the parkland and the rest of the development. St James aims to help create an inclusive community, so a choice of homes will be offered to suit as broad a range of buyers as possible. Substantial 4 and 5 bedroom detached family properties sit alongside 3 and 4 bedroom semi detached and terraced homes. Apartment dwellers can choose from a range of 1 and 2 bedroom homes at Wentworth Court. Throughout Providence Place, there is emphasis on bringing the outdoor environment close to home, so all homes and apartments feature verandahs, porches and balconies.

Providence Place Inspired by tradition The Hamptons has always been about outstanding architecture in a beautiful parkland setting. Providence Place evolves this original concept as a carefully planned series of neighbourhoods with a coherent theme.
Much of the architecture takes its cue from the traditional buildings of Scandinavia. The properties are reminiscent of buildings such as the grain mills, storehouses, meeting houses and quayside warehouses found in the coastal towns of these countries. The colours are typical of these regions and there is substantial use of natural timber. Computer generated image shown is indicative only
