Mulberry Gardens The village of Meriden is situated at an historical crossing of ways. Located between Coventry and Birmingham, it gives residents easy access to both cities whilst allowing them to enjoy life in a semi-rural location. The village has a handful of shops, mostly situated next to the green while the centrepiece of the village is a cross, representing what is said to be the centre of England. If you love walking, Meriden will suit you perfectly. It is on the ‘Heart of England Way’, a 100-mile long distance footpath which runs the length of the West Midlands region. It links the Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and much of the path meanders through and around the rural villages of Warwickshire.

Opposite the village green are a handful of shops including two newsagents, a traditional fish and chip shop, a charity shop and a pharmacy. There are also a selection of pubs in and around the village including the Bulls Head which holds the Cask Marque Award for serving great quality real ale. All of this combined gives you a perfect village life!

As the development is situated between Coventry and Birmingham, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to shopping. Touchwood, just over 8 miles away, is an award winning 650,000 square foot shopping destination which

is home to big names such as John Lewis, Apple, Next, Superdry, River Island, Beaverbrooks and many many more. Once you have finished shopping, you can catch a film at Cineworld, also located in Touchwood, and pop for a bite to eat with a choice of no less than 23 dining outlets!
