The new Staufix. We have made the impossible possible and made the original Staufix backwater valve even better.
Many builders and home owners are at risk of backwater damage. Property and asset damage due to backwater and flooding has never been greater than it is today. In addition, municipalities and insurance companies do not accept any responsibility and are not liable in case of damage. Yet protection against backwater can be achieved very easily and effectively – with the original Staufix backwater valve.

During heavy rain, the water level rises above the so-called backwater level. This term is usually used to mean street level. Rooms in the basement or cellar quickly become flooded. The consequences are substantial damage and costs.
Wastewater that flows by gravity to the sewer is secured by a backwater valve. In the event of backwater the flap closes so that wastewater cannot penetrate the house. If the public sewer is higher than the drainage point in the building, the wastewater must be pumped upwards, for example, via a KESSEL Aqualift lifting station.

The new Staufix is equipped with a onehand quick-release closure, which makes the cover particularly easy to open and close. For convenient maintenance without tools.

StaufixControl with alarm.
Upgradable. The new Staufix can also be upgraded to the new StaufixControl by adding the lockable Control cover (with radio-based audible alarm).
Backwater protection even smarter.
Protects, controls and warns during backwater. Standard: Radio-based audible alarm in the StaufixControl for visual and acoustic warning signal. Optional: Additional radio-based audible alarm for visual and acoustic warning in the living area.

Installation set for the concrete slab. Installation even more convenient.
Flexibly installable. The new installation set is available with three different telescopic extension sections and can thus be flexibly installed at all depths. A standard extension section, with flange and counter flange made of stainless steel and elastomer waterproofing membrane for deeper installation in waterproof concrete are available to choose from.
Removable two-way socket. Installation easier than ever before.
Individually combinable. The sockets and spigots are available with the same sizes or different inlet and outlet sizes – and can be individually combined with two different drain bodies. The two-way sockets thus fit flexibly on all pipes. This is especially practical if old pipes have to be joined to new pipes for structural alteration or renovation work.
Black or tileable. The new Staufix is available with two different covers. The upper section with a black cover fits seamlessly into the floor. The upper section with the grey cover can be covered with tiles.

Staufix for installation in a concrete slab. Thanks to the new installation set with vertically adjustable upper section, installing the Staufix in the concrete slab/floor is particularly clean and convenient. Three different extension sections ensure additional flexibility for the installation.
