Vision A nation where early learners regardless of their socio-economic stature and place of abode have access to affordable education resources, where education happens even outside of formal schools, and everyone's capacity to become an effective early knowledge giver is nurtured.
Mission
Our organization, the 21st Century Teachers will be at the forefront of this revolution by advocating this shift in paradigm through the following: We will continuously create learning materials and develop teaching methodologies that are effective, simple and implementable even in the most remote areas. We will promote the use of our Third World Classroom Tech (3WCT) methodology that are founded on affordable technologies and the use of indigenous materials. We will continuously provide affordable instructional materials and techniques to knowledge givers of early learners as well as directly to the early learners. We will encourage parents, stay-at-home relatives and cause-oriented organizations to utilize its materials and impart the same to early learners.

Corporate Name and History Our organization will be known as 21st Century Teachers as we would like to dissociate ourselves from the image of the normal traditional schools. We want to be futuristic and technology sounding in order to better emphasizes the paradigm shift that we are advocating. We, the founders of the organization are hands-on educators. During the course of our teaching, we have developed and collected instructional materials, created books and other learning materials. At first, when fellow educators get a peek of what we have and what we do, they would ask for copies and use it for themselves. Soon, they would also share it with friends and so it grew. In June 19 of 2016, we created a social media fan page in order to further our advocacies. There, we shared the same materials that we were giving out before. Within a span of about six months, we have had a great engagement and we immediately ballooned to a hundred thousand plus followers spread over 30 countries. Surprisingly, the comments that we were getting are already centering on followers asking us to publish books and asking if we can offer tutorial services in various areas of the country. Hence, the idea of formalizing 21st Century Teachers into a true learning organization was borne.
Operations Brief 21st Century Teachers will develop programs, curricula and content, both for online and paper based publications.
The electronic copies of the paper based publications will be sold online
through digital channels. We will accredit volunteer tutors who share in the same belief with us. These tutors will utilize our materials and can charge minimal suggested fees to their target audiences. In return, 21st Century Teachers will take a royalty fee of 10% from their earnings in return for the use of our content. We will conduct trainings and seminars both online and face to face to knowledge givers. Minimal fees will be charged to cover expenses and minimal profit from these events. An online support team will be operated to answer to queries of all knowledge givers, accredited tutors and the general public.

An IT team, acting also as our social media arm, will ensure that our online presence and materials are accessible 24x7. They will also support the digital marketing endeavors of the organization. An HR Team will ensure that we have a steady supply of human resource and volunteers. Lastly, our finance team will handle our accounting and treasury. They will also ensure that earnings from tutorial royalties, book publications and seminars inclusive of pledges and donations given to the organization is properly accounted for and controlled.

Board of Trustees The Board of Trustees is responsible for the governance and the control of the management of the organization. The Board is the employer, is responsible for setting the organization's strategic direction in consultation with parents, staff, students, and ensuring that the organization provides a safe environment and quality service and products for all its stakeholders. The Board is also responsible for overseeing the management of personnel, curriculum, property, finance and administration. We chose to maintain a Board of Trustees as opposed to a Board of Directors in order to remind us that we are in this business for the education and not for totally for profit.
Chief Executive Officer / Chief Operating Officer The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will concurrently act as the Chief Operations Officer (COO). His main task is to oversee our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. He will be responsible to the Board of Trustees for the efficiency of business. As head of the organization, the specifics of the job are:
Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
Establish policies that promote organization culture and vision
Oversee daily operations of the organization and the work of executives (IT, Marketing,
Sales, and Finance etc.)
Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
Manage relationships with partners/vendors
Content Development Team The Content Development Team is headed by a Content Development Head and supported by subject matter experts, animators, writers and quality checkers. The support will be tapped as needed on contract basis and / or volunteer basis. Page 7
Its primary task is to develop programs, curricula, instructional materials, books and other content. In doing so, it continuously researches for new methodologies and breakthrough techniques in teaching. It liaises with other institutions to gain access to this information and attends conferences and meetings aligned with its tasks. The task specifics of this team are:
Research the market on the needs of knowledge givers and develop programs, curricula that
will address their needs
Research on the learning needs of early learners and develop programs, curricula and materials
that will address their needs Ensure the quality of all materials produced. If need be, modulate the materials and have it accredited with the relevant regulators and accrediting bodies.
Publication Team The Publication Team is headed by a Publication Head supported by a web developer and a host of outsourced services. Their main task is to get the output of the Content Development Team, style them in the best presentation form, coordinate with web publishers for the digital publication and / or coordinate with publishing houses for the physical content. Ensure that content are available online AND WHEN POSSIBLE published on paper and sold to the market. Books published online will also have downloadable paid versions. They also have the task of maintaining the social media delivery arm of the organization. The task specifics of this team are:
making sure that the production process runs smoothly
making sure that publications are printed on time.

Training Team The Training Team is headed by a Training Head supported by coordinators and lead trainers. The main task of this group is to organize and conduct online training events and physical training events. They are empowered to secure the services of event organizers in performing their duties. Part of their trainees will be the Tutors who will be recruited into the organization. They will also handle speaking engagements of lead trainers and linkages to other organizations, schools and government units. The task specifics of this team are:
Organize and conduct web events and online seminars for the general public and / or the
recruited tutors.
Organize and conduct physical trainings and seminars for the general public and / or the
recruited tutors.
Organize and conduct special sessions with actual learners in order to demonstrate the
effectivity of our own methodologies Perform linkage activities and benchmarking with other schools and organizations
Human Resource Team The Training Team is headed by a Human Resources Head supported by a recruitment staff and an administrative staff. The main task of this group is to handles recruit, accredits tutors and manages tutors The task specifics of this team are:
Source, select and on-board new staff.
Source, select, perform accreditation activities to tutors
Monitor and manage the activities of staff and tutors

Tutors Tutors are an integral part of our operation. Tutors work one-on-one with students through the semester. The goals of tutoring are to:
help students understand their course content;
improve their study, reading and writing skills;
encourage students to become self-sufficient;
identify learning strengths and weaknesses;
find appropriate materials; and
Create tutoring plans and materials.
Report progress of the tutees.
Online Support Team The Online Support Team is headed by the Customer Service Head and supported by full time online support staff. They will also indirectly manage the Tutors in providing user support. This unit will correspond mainly via social media and email to answer all queries, clarifications. Their task specifics are:
Monitor the support activities being provided by the tutors
Answer all queries coming from the general public
Information Technology Team The Information Technology Team is headed by the IT Head and supported by technical software and hardware personnel. Their main task is to ensure that all online services operate 24 x 7. Their task specifics are: Plan, develop, and deploy technology-based business solutions. Page 10
Ensure 24x7 operations of all technology platforms of the organization
Monitor optimal usage of all technologies
Logging and keeping records of queries and support care
Finance Team The Finance Team is headed by the Accounting and Finance Head and supported by cashiers and bookkeeper. They are allowed to outsource the bookkeeping services of the organization. Their main task is to ensure that all transactions are recorded and that all funds are properly kept and accounted for. A government regulation is also a primary function.
RULES AND REGULATIONS All employees of the organization are mandated to follow this acceptable list of behaviors. Violation of any of these regulations may result in disciplinary action ranging from reprimand, warning, layoff, or dismissal depending on the gravity of the offense.
Employees shall maintain a professional appearance at all times while on duty and shall wear clothing appropriate to their duties.
Employees shall be at the work place, ready to work, at the regular starting time.
Employees must notify their superiors as far in advance as possible if they are unable to report for work, or will be late for work.
Employees must comply with time limitations on rest and meal periods.
Leaving the workstation (except for reasonable personal needs) without prior permission from the supervisor is prohibited.
Neglect of duty and insubordination will not be tolerated.
Employees must take all practicable steps to perform the job in a way that is safe and healthy for themselves and their co-workers. Physical violence, verbal abuse, inappropriate or indecent conduct and behavior are prohibited.
Reporting to work under the influence of alcohol or drugs or the unauthorized introduction, possession or use of alcohol or drugs on premises is prohibited.
An employee taking prescribed medication(s) shall inform the supervisor if the medication(s) may affect her/his performance.

Possession of firearms (licensed or unlicensed) or other weapons is prohibited while on premises.
Employees shall not falsify or submit inaccurate or untruthful information on any client records, work reports, employee records, or other official documents.
Not taking proper care of, neglecting, or abusing organization equipment and tools is prohibited.
The removal or destruction of company property, documents, and/or other equipment or material, including client property or records, from work sites without authorization is prohibited.
Employees shall not use company equipment, materials or facilities for personal purposes. Use of email, phones and the internet is for work purposes only
Employees shall not engage in outside employment that is detrimental to the Organization's interest.
Employees shall not reveal information to unauthorized persons.
Employees shall immediately report alleged violations of existing work rules, policies, procedures or regulations to a supervisor.
RULES AND REGULATIONS (Tutors) On top of the general rules, Tutors are expected to follow the Organizations Service Policies and to maintain high standards of professional behavior. Our expectations are aligned with the regulatory bodies DEPED, TESDA and CHED. Tutors are expected to adhere to the following ethical behaviors: 1.
Best Interest: Tutors will be committed to acting in the best interest of tutees as specified by the employing organization or institute.
2. Responsibility: Tutors will take responsibility for their own behavior and work to resolve conflicts that may arise between themselves and a client. 3. Integrity: Tutors will practice and promote accuracy, honesty, and truthfulness. 4. Fairness: Tutors will exercise reasonable judgment and take precautions to ensure that their potential biases, the boundaries of their competence, and the limitations of their expertise do not lead to or condone unjust practices. 5. Commitment: Tutors will fulfill commitments made to learners. 6. Respect for Others Rights and Dignity: Tutors will respect the dignity and worth of all people, and the rights of individuals to privacy, confidentiality and self-determination. 7. Excellence: Tutors will strive to maintain excellence by continuing to improve their tutoring skills and engage in applicable professional development activities. 8. Respect for Individual Differences: Tutors will respect cultural, individual, and role differences, including those based on age, sex, gender identity, race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, language and socioeconomic status. 9. Professionalism: Tutors will not engage in inappropriate relations with tutees. 10. Confidentiality: Tutors will maintain the highest privacy standards in terms of protecting personal information relative to those whom they tutor. In addition to the ethics laid out above, Tutors must 
Inform their students of the purposes, goals, and limits of the tutor and student relationship.

Keeps all information pertaining to student identity and tutoring sessions confidential.
