For this job, I was crisis trained as well as trained in customer service. On a daily basis, I have the responsibility of dealing with mail, completing projects around the building, fielding any questions students may have, keeping the front desk area organized.
I worked 16 hour days, 7 days a week for a month in a factory type setting. I learned how to interact with all different kinds of people as well as how to take direction in a completely foreign setting.
As a high school intern at an architectural firm I often worked on construction drawing alteration and notation and paperwork as well as diagrams and drawing in computer programs like Autocad. I gained real life insight into the profession I intend to enter.
Private Math Tutor
Throughout my college, high school and junior high career, I worked as a math tutor to my peers as well as younger students. I helped them understand abstract concepts and complete their coursework.
