One Purpose Magazine: Launched October 2010, by Nia J. Andrews, who graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism, magazine article writing and currently works as a freelance manuscript editor. Nia, created One Purpose Magazine as a tool to inspire young adults to become active in their communities, give back to their communities and highlight the positive that they do for churches, organizations and businesses. The magazine was also created to teach youth journalism through being involved in doing the work. Mission Statement: We focus on exposing the greatness of everyday people! Vision: Our vision is to introduce everyday people to their communities through journalism with integrity and the intent to influence people through current accounts of diligence, hard work and ambition.

2012 Highlights We were happy to cover Chicago’s own Dwayne Wade’s Chicago has Talent Showcase, where we were able to recognize him as a young adult giving beck to his home community and expose the greatness of some Chicago Youth.
We Introduced our food blog highlighting restaurants traveling I57 South.
We also began “Our Lenz on Fashion,” which is a light, fun addition highlighting fashion trends in the Midwest.
Both blogs introduced in 2012 will be continued in 2013 4

2013 Ad Space Prices One Purpose Magazine targets the Chicago land market. Therefore, we place Ads for business and events in the Chicago Market ONLY. Our Print edition will be distributed Tuesday, May 14, 2013. We would like Ads by Monday April 1, 2013. Ads that we seek to place are local small businesses, new products, colleges, certificate programs, online talk shows, radio shows, grand openings, conferences, concerts, theatrical plays, movie screens, community events, etc‌.
