School of Design. While studying architecture,I have developed a piqued interest in the built environment around me. As I set my sights on enhancing the lives in the built environment ,my polytechnic experience has made me grow as an individual as I l come to learn the means to design architecture that is practical, sensible and poetic. Throughout my polytechnic education, I have picked up essential soft skills like modelling software such as adobe suite and autocad to better visualize my ideas and also to comple-

THE TEAM
The site is at Serangoon Central,Singapore. The project is to develop a community hub that can potentially serve as a new heart for the serangoon central precint,to preserve the identity of serangoon and so as to bridge the gap between the silver and the young generation. The title of this project is called a weaver’s confluence. We envision the scheme to be one that heavily involves the roots of Serangoon;where the rangoon bird used to inhabit the area of Serangoon. With that,my team incorporates this concept for the architecture and the connectivity of the scheme.
