IDS Competition 2014 Out of 82 students and 41 teams. This project was recognized for its creative style. This 11 story mid-rise integrated medical facility is energy efficient, creating 57% of its own energy. The project location is in Cleveland, Oh where the program ranges from business to urgent care operations. Reference DD**

Kinetic Facade Researching Ned Kahn and the Brisbane Airport in Australia as parking garages aesthetic feature captured my eye. The moving faรงade functioned by wind power creates a musical sensation from whispering winds. This moving feature also creates a playful shadowing on the interior.

Yellowstone National Park Lodge 2013 This project was directed towards 13 students. The Project proposal was to design a lodge in Yellowstone National Park for the Smokejumpers. The lodge was to house 40 guest. It also was to include a memorial, museum, restaurant and lounge. This 60,000sqft building residing in the cliff over looking Lower Falls Waterfall and the Yellowstone River.

Smokejumper Lodge The lodge is designed to create a journey through and down into the different programmatic spaces; much like the journey the smokejumpers take as they descend from the sky. By creating interior images that “block exciting views on the exterior, guest are able to take a journey to find the views in which the lodge offers.

Pocket Neighborhood 2013 The pocket neighborhood is a development designed to allow house owners to interact with one another and grow as a community. By creating paths and gardens it allows for easier interaction among the community.

Sill Middle School Development This community plan allows the ideas portrayed by the pocket neighborhood to be used in the design. By having shared driveways, walkways and community garden spaces this will allow for interaction among the neighbors.

Recreation Center 2011 The name, “Peninsula came from the way the Cuyahoga River wrapped itself around a piece of land that looked just like a Peninsula. The idea of wrapping and feeling on with nature was the overall concept of my facility. The atmosphere and environment one feels when they enter the Recreation Center is the feeling of being outside but the comfort of being inside. The large wooden trusses and open curtain walls allows this feeling of being outside because they are natural just like the woods and open spaces of Peninsula. Within this facility there are multiple activities for families or even individuals to do. For example, one could go for a hike or take a lap in the various pools. As well as enjoy a private or couple massage. Also within the facility there is a cultural gallery and a health bar where the citizens of Peninsula or visitors can see art.

Apart of the requirements and needs of the clients the space needed storage, walkways that could handle heavy equipment as well as be easily maintained. Of the 101 students this project was one of the 20 selected projects to be showcased in the museum.
