Grab a flip-over sheet.

Rank the jobs.

Get customer insights from the field, test, and experiment.

Prepare

Take the flip-over sheet and draw 6 columns:

Column 1: Jobs.

• Column 2: Important. Does failing the jobs lead to extreme pains? Does failing the • job lead to missing out on essential gains?

Column 3: Tangible. Can you feel the pain? Can you see the gain?

• Column 4: Unsatisfied. Are there unresolved pains? Are there unrealized gains?

• Column 5: Lucrative. Are there many customers with this job, pain, or gain? Are • few willing to pay a lot?

Column 6: Rating for highest value. •

Write down one job.

Each individual team member rates the job on important, tangible, unsatisfied, and lucrative on a scale from 1-10.

Discuss as a team the outcome of the rating (when there are big differences between individual ratings).

Add up the rating for important, tangible, unsatisfied, and lucrative into one number.

Write down the next jobs and do the same exercise again.

Repeat till you have rated all the jobs.
