NEVERDOGS @ CLUB FELLINI
Los innovadores dj productores Tommy Paone y Marco Kay son los “NEVERDOGS”, los pioneros de un nuevo sonido alternativo que los distingue de la masa. Su música esta influenciada por una mezcla de mínimal, electro y progressive. Estos dos artistas que empezaron a pinchar ya con 14 años han sido protagonistas en las cabinas de clubs como el Eg y el Retox/ Soho en Londres, el Tenax y el Coccorico de Italia o el Space de Ibiza, en Barcelona habían pinchado antes en el Shoko y otros locales. El día 18 de este mes de Enero los tendremos de nuevo aquí, en el Club FELLINI, en la fiesta de lanzamiento de nuestra revista a la que no puedes faltar. Hemos querido hacerles una entrevista para que empecéis a conocerlos y os empecéis a familiarizar un poco con estos chicos, porque seguro que vais a escuchar mucho hablar de ellos.
Signo del zodiaco: Tommy: piscis Marco k: libra ¿Cuantos años tenéis? Tommy: 31 Marco K: 27 ¿Lugar de residencia? Tommy y Marco K: Por el momento Rimini (Italia), pero a partir de mediados de Enero iremos a vivir a Londres. ¿Hace cuantos años que pincháis? Tommy: Pincho desde el 1990, hace casi 18 años. Marco K: pincho desde hace 13 años.
En la pintura haber expuesto mis cuadros en ciudades como Nueva York, Washington o Basilea y haberlos vendido todos. Marco K: Creo que ha sido un éxito cuando grandes dj´s como Lawler y satoshi Tomiie nos han contactado por alguno de nuestros temas y haber pinchado en importantes discotecas de Europa. ¿Ídolos en el campo musical? Tommy: no tengo un ídolo en concreto, me gusta escuchar todo tipo de música. Marco K: Depeche Mode
The innovative dj producers Tommy Paone and Marco Kay are “NEVERDOGS”, pioneers of a new alternative sound that distinguishes them from the mass. Explicadnos como es un día normal en vuestra vida: Tommy: Despertador a las 09:00 h, mientras preparo un buen café miro mi correo electrónico, después voy al estudio a trabajar en los nuevos temas, por la tarde pongo música clásica y dedico el tiempo a mis cuadros. Marco K: Hasta un cierto horario duermo, después desayuno y voy al estudio, después de comer me dedico a otros aspectos de mi trabajo en el estudio hasta la noche.

Explain to us how is a normal day in your life: Tommy: Alarm at 09:00 h, while I prepare a good coffee I check my e-mail, later I go to the study to work in the new tracks, in the evening I put classical music and I dedicate the time to my pictures. Marco K: I sleep until a certain time, later I have breakfast and I go to the study, after eating I dedicate myself to other aspects of my work in the study until the night.
Sex: Tommy: a fundamental part of life: later you feel better! Marco K: a treatment … Music: Tommy: it’s that shiver that goes from inside you and makes you fly. In this work, belonging to the last series “ Trascendencia de la forma casual “, he re-elaborates in an abstract form a geographical map of the Adriatic sea, adding to his habitual range of colours - white, red and black - yellow, green and blue elements that allow, if you mix them, to create the flags of all the countries caressed by the Adriatic Sea.

Marcos es un chico de Barcelona liceciado en psicologia con mucho que decir. Marcos is a guy from Barcelona gratuated in psicology with a lot of things to say: En este número abrimos una nueva sección: “la noche y el mundo gay”, en la cual tendremos la oportunidad de repasar y comentar temas de actualidad de este o sobre este mundo o submundo -como lo llaman y sienten algunos-, no falto de estereotipos y seres muy variopintos.
In this edition we release a new section: “night and gay life” in whose we’ll have the opportunity to comment the most recent and sparkling news from this world or sub world “as is known and felt by some people”, it won’t have lack of stereotypes and very rare human beings.
Porque... ¿Quien no ha decidido alguna vez en su vida llevar a cabo una inmersión en la noche gay? Si tenéis algún amigo heterosexual preguntarle. Si os responde que no, es porque ha ido más de una vez. Si os responde “¿A qué te refieres?”, tener por seguro que mas que una inmersión, se ha tirado a la piscina; es decir que lo conoce mucho mejor de lo que os imagináis.

If the answer is NO the truth is that he/she had been more than once. If the answer is “What do you mean?” You can be sure that he/she had gone all the way and knows it better that you’ll can never imagine.
En este número nos limitaremos sólo a una introducción, a un poner en situación de qué va a tratar este apartado. En esta sección todos y cada uno de nosotros vamos a ser cómplices y participes en aquellos temas sobre los cuales vamos a hablar o escribir. Vamos a hablar claro y llamar por su nombre a las cosas. Por ejemplo todos sabemos que en la noche y sobre todo en el mundo gay las drogas tienen un nombre, las intolerancias también, al igual que los comportamientos sexuales exacerbados. Así pues no vamos a limitarnos a hablar del movimiento del boda en esos locales y lugares, no, no… Vamos a hablar por lo tanto de porqué la gente va a estos sitios y se pone hasta el culo de todo tipo de sustancias químicas, porqué es tan importante el sexo en este mundo, o, por ejemplo, qué es lo que nos incita a salir cada vez más por este mundo… hablaremos de todo, todo, todo, aunque también de lo bello: los colores, la fantasía y la magia que envuelve y caracteriza éstas nuestras noches de fiesta y diversión.
Nightlife and Gay Nightlife makes people feel fear when seen on TV or when they suffer it (most of the times with their sons/daughters). Lets imagine the gay ambient all together with the nightlife. Which cocktail will we have mixing it? At least our faces looking astonished.
Una vez dicho esto, empecemos a calentar motores.¿Os habéis parado alguna vez a comparar como creíais que era el mundo de la noche gay antes de adentraros en él y después de haberlo hecho? En mi caso, creía que enseguida que pusiera un pie en un local gay nocturno iba a perderme en un laberinto de cuartos oscuros en los cuales iba a encontrarme hombres mayores sin otra intención más que la de propasarse conmigo; y que la música no tenía la menor importancia, sino más bien se trataba de una mera justificación para el grave ritual que allí iba a llevarse a cabo… ¿Os dais cuenta hasta dónde puede llevarnos la ignorancia de las cosas? A decir verdad, si esta mi fantasía hubiera tenido algo de realidad, hoy podría afirmar que más bien son los hombres mayores quienes tienen que tener cuidado, no vayan a llegar a convertirse presas y víctimas de mi ritual nocturno. En fin, para que veáis como ha cambiado mi visión... pero a ver decidnos ¿Qué imagen teníais de la noche del mundo gay antes de hacer vuestros primeros pinitos en ella?, ¿Y después de haberla conocido o incluso después de haber finalizado un master sobre la misma? Aquellos más atrevidos podéis enviarnos vuestra opinión con nombre incluido al mail tu@nightanddaymag.com, y aquellos que todavía estéis en el “closed” en relación a y estos temas también podéis opinar a través de un pseudónimo. En cada número publicaremos algunos ejemplos interesantes de éstas vuestras reflexiones relacionadas con el tema expuesto el mes anterior. Ánimo amigos y amigas, hagamos de esta sección un vínculo dinámico entre nosotros y el mundo de la noche que nos ha tocado o hemos elegido vivir.
First of all we will give you some tips of how this section is going to be. In this section each and every one of us are going to be accomplices and take part in those topics on which we are going to speak or write. We are going to speak clearly and to call for his name to the things. For example we all know that in the night and especially in the world gay the drugs have a name, the intolerances also, as the sexual irritated behaviors. So then we are not going to speaking just of the movement of the body in these places, no, no…we Are going to speak therefore of why people go to these places and they take big quantities of all kinds of chemical substances, why sex is so important in this world, or, for example, what is what incites us to go out increasingly for this world…we will speak about everything! Also about the beautiful things: the colors, the fantasy and the magic that characterizes our nights of parties and funny. Ok, so let’s start, Did you ever compared the way you thought that it was the world of the night gay before entering in it and after done it? In my case, I thought that immediately when I enter in the gay night I was going to get lost in a labyrinth of dark rooms in which I was going to meet big mans without any other intention than to go too far with me; and that the music did not have the minor importance, but rather it was a question of a mere justification for the serious ritual that there was going to be… Do you realize where the ignorance can take us? If my fantasy should have something of reality, today I can affirm that rather they are the major big men who have to take care, so they don’t turn preys and victims of my night ritual. Con solo 24 años miss Davilota ha podido gozar de trabajar en las mejores salas de Madrid, Ibiza y Barcelona. Con nueve años de experiencia en la noche ella no deja de sorprender al público en las salas donde trabaja. Después de haber trabajado con una de las mejores a nivel mundial que es Carmen Xtravaganza. Comienza su carrera como speaker hace mas de 4 años. Looks muy fuertes y originales, y una manera muy peculiar de llevar la noche hacen de el un personaje único allí donde este: Drag, gogo, showman, speaker, performance… un personaje polifacético que año tras año intenta renovarse e innovar allí donde esté.
