STEPS UP...

Ok folks – time for a break from the politics and an update of my journey so far.

Funny story: After my first 2 doses Tanya became a new Grand Mother (congrats girl!) and was called out of town to meet the baby and be there for her daughter. That’s not the funny part…

Sooooo, as you all know, I cannot give myself a shot (still). So for the next 2 doses I enlisted the help of my good friend, Teresa. WELL, then she and her husband, Jim up and leave me to go on a cruise!!!

... leaving me to fend for myself.

After much debate, with myself, – I still cannot do it...

Much to my surprise, Paul volunteered!

Now… THIS is the same guy that when I met him, had to lie down while giving blood to keep from passing out. He’s much better about it now, but you can imagine my trepidation… after me asking a thousand times “Are you sure?” and him answering a thousand and one times that “yes!” he’s sure...

... I conceded.

The after dance that immediately followed, resembling Rocky at the

top of the steps, also revealed, he was just as nervous as I was!! But he did it. HE DID FUCKING GREAT! (Thanks punkin). It took a couple minutes for the Rocky theme song the die down and we then went about our evening.

Throughout the month people have been asking me, “have you lost any weight yet?” and for a month I’ve had to say “I don’t know”, because I’m purposely only weighing myself once a month. I don’t want to see the fluctuations that might happen. You know, one day you’re 2 pounds lighter, the next day you’ve gained three pounds. I think that would be discouraging. Plus, the monthly weigh in is something to look forward to.

The first four doses were the small ones to get my system acclimated and the fifth was the beginning of stronger doses. So, with all that being said… I had my 1st weigh in January 21st and after 5 weeks I have lost... (drumroll please)... 7 whole pounds!!

So, my goal for the next 4 weeks at the stronger dose (fingers crossed) is 10 pounds, Which Tanya says is about average.

Fast forwarding to today, Nia is living in the United States and is an established feature entertainer. In her 11 years in the business she has performed in Canada, Europe, Australia and coast-to-coast here in the USA.

What a great month to be a sports fan!

-The Super Bowl takes place on 2/9 … -Spring Training baseball games start in late February … -NCAA Basketball is in full swing … -Tampa Bay Lightning are fighting for a playoff spot … -The NBA is in midseason … -Horse racing and Golf) are going strong and the -Daytona 500 takes place 2/16 … wow !!!

NFL FOOTBALL

It was a shame that our Tampa Bay Buccaneers were eliminated from the NFL Playoffs by a field goal that “doinked” off the cross bar and went in! All-in-all the Bucs had a good season and I’m already excited for next year!

Super Bowl LIX will feature the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. These teams are no strangers to each other as they met in the 2023 Su per Bowl with KC winning by a field goal. This year the Chiefs open as a 1 ½ point favorite and the over/under in the game is 49 ½ combined points. The big ques tion is, will KC do something that has never happened before and win three consecutive Super Bowls? In my opinion … yes they will. Patrick Mahomes will be giving Tom Brady competition as the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) when his ca reer concludes. He is amazing and I think he leads KC to victory on February 9th.

At home the Bolts are amazing, but the team has problems playing on foreign ice. At press time the Lightning have a 2518-3 record, good for 53 points and are clinging to a playoff spot but they must play with better consistency. Our goaltending has been ok but the team has problems sometimes clearing the zone. My chant every game is, “shoot the damn puck”. You can’t score if you don’t shoot!

Here are the Bolt’s home games this month at Amalie Arena: 2/1 vs New York Islanders … 2/4 and 2/6 vs Ottawa Senators … 2/23 vs Seattle Kraken … 2/25 vs Edmonton Oilers and 2/27 against the Calgary Flames. Go

Spring Training time is here and the baseball world will be looking at Tampa Bay! Tampa Bay is the Spring Training home for multiple teams including: the Toronto Blue Jays (Dunedin) … the New York Yankees (Tampa) … the Philadelphia Phillies (Clearwater) … the Detroit Tigers (Lakeland) … the Pittsburgh Pirates (Bradenton) … the Baltimore Orioles (Sarasota). Our Tampa Bay Rays have Spring Training in Port Charlotte.

The Rays will have an interesting year as they will play their home games at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa (where the Yankees play their Spring Training games) due to the hurricane damage Tropicana Field had last summer.

The schedule calls for very few home games in July & August (due to our afternoon thundershowers) and plenty of home games in April, May & June. Seeing Rays play outdoor home games will be interesting and I hope fans sell-out Steinbrenner Field for every game!

Once again GFF comes up with another intriguing, sexy series that pits neighbors against neighbors, but in a very good way. Of course, the story lines have it all, drama, humor, tease, seduction, deceit and of course, desire. Watching the four scenes in this one unfold was a nice naughty pleasure. Each scene had just the right build up before the action got started. Once they got into each other it was, for the most part, visually enjoyable start to finish. The Syren de mer and Whitney OC get together was one of the best of the four with all the ingredients working. Give this one a good look for some fun.

This is going back to what Wicked used to be, solid story, great music, superb cast, story line, plot, steamy sex and twists and turns. Liz and Parker are a couple who come from wealthy families and have everything they want, anytime they want it. But when things go wrong between them, everybody in town knows, or thinks they know, the real story. That is when everything gets disastrous for everyone. There is plenty to keep you guessing and wondering how this will all turn out. An excellent release that is perfect entertainment for couples.

Holly Randall is a top photographer following in the footsteps of her legendary mother Suzy, but also entered the adult film world with her own production company. She created a plot-oriented brand that appeal to couples of all ages. With her top-notch reputation as a photographer, producer, writer, podcast host, being part of a Holly Randall film is pretty special. That is very evident by the cast appearing in this award-winning release. In addition, through her work previously with writer/director Jeffrey John Hart, the makeup of this film and the various paths it takes make this a must see.

As the film begins, we get glimpses of Juliet in an obviously upset mood, then a glimpse of her conversations with her therapist. It then switches to her first day on the new job and her coworker Charlotte, but she is a bit stand offish with her. After leaving the office and walking down the street, a strange man (Seth Gamble) across the way gives her a long stare. Now we are at home as she and Codey are unpacking things, she comes across a box that says “do not open” and it will be a key part of the story later on. The boyfriend gives her a little kiss and

caress and then next we see them in bed. Codey is pumping away, but Juliet is not into it and her mind is elsewhere as she sees in and out visions of their darkened living room.

Juliet’s boss (Lexi Luna) tries to find out what her new employee’s problem is but Juliet says she is fine and will be okay, which the boss doesn’t believe. Leaving the office that same man is now up the street staring at her. Once home Codey tries his best to comfort her. Once again Juliet is not into it, but now strange images of her past life begin to emerge making her almost ready to crack.

Now Juliet and her therapist have a session and it is a heart tugging, mind blowing scene. There is also a brief scene with Lumi Ray that is outstanding. But this session finally begins to bring things full circle. Back home with Codey she tries to give him what he wants, but once again the images that splatter her mind now include everyone and everything bringing her to a breaking point. She is beside herself as every turn haunts her with more images of her past. It is emotionally riveting in every way. The end result of all this trauma and playing with the mind becomes evident in the very last scene that involves Juliet, Codey and Charlotte. We will leave the rest up to you to discover how this plays out.

This is one explosive, edge of your seat experience that will grab you. The mixing of the visuals in the scenes are exceptionally well done. The cast is tremendous and Jewelz Blu offers an award worthy performance with all the right nuances between real and imagined. The writing really brings out the characters in this concept from Jeffrey John Hart. Broken Butterfly received Best Featurette & Best Screen Play Awards at this year’s AVN Awards. Do not miss this one.

The movie offers five different chapters, that are a little top-heavy with the setup and skits, but this is a comedic endeavor so it is expected. Welcome again everyone to my Up Close and Personal series with all of your Favorite adult stars, where we get an inside look at what they like, what their interests are, how they got into the Adult Business and other juicy personal details that come from being close friends with them as well as some gorgeous pictures of these lovely ladies and all their important social media and web links!

Miles: This is an incredibly special interview because this is one of my longtime friends. I think we have known each other going 14 years now and arguably one of the most successful Trans Performers ever to get in the business, a 2 time XBIZ award winner, a 2 time AVN Trans Performer winner and this year you got inducted into the Urban X Hall of Fame as well right?

Venus: Yes, yes and yes!! I’m very, very grateful.

Miles: So without further ado, the one the only Venus Lux. Thank you for coming by today!

Venus: Thank you for having me.

Miles: Now a lot of folks may have heard of you in the past, but this is a perfect opportunity because maybe they don’t know a whole lot about you. I’m well known for talking a little bit more intimately with the folks that I interview, so tell us, how did you first get into the business?

Venus: I was scouted by Kink.com in San Francisco when I was living there. I was born in San Francisco and they reached out to me, they launched a new site call TS Pussy Hunters and they were looking for Trans women to have sex with Cis women and as they were kind of hiring and testing out new talent I got thrown into the mix with my first ever shoot with them and it’s kind of been snowballing ever since! (Laughs)

Miles: What she’s saying is that she fucking crushed it! (Laughs)

Venus: Yeah, I’m glad I got a call back, I was worried they weren’t going to call me back... (Laughs)

Miles: So now that’s interesting because Kink.com actually started in San Francisco. I actually remember when the original founder was shooting in the Marina

area before he bought that big armory...

Venus: ...in the middle of that, when they were expanding and got the armory and they were launching more websites and yeah, TS seduction and TS pussy hunters were the two sites that I was filming for and thanks to them, I was able to kind of gain more experience and more knowledge and also appreciate that I had what it took to be able to be a good performer.

Miles: Now here’s an interesting question because they were well known for being a little bit more fetish and BDSM oriented, so were you into that in your personal life before you became a performer, or did you find that it brought out an inner animal you didn’t know you had?

Venus: Well, that’s a good question. I would say I dabbled in it, but never in such a formal way was I able to give myself the permission to explore and experiment and it felt like a safe space to play with different toys and different ways of fucking, with role-play and latex and leather, and harnesses and crosses, so it just felt like a kinky playground that really excited me. It definitely drew some level of curiosity as to “is this for me” and having good people around me, from the photographers, to the people who were even providing me lube and condoms. It gave me a safe space for me to be able to say “yeah, I can get into this” especially my scene partner, giving me that consent to be able to say “I like this and I want you to do this to me.” and know that the permission and that consent culture really just allowed me to just blossom and really appreciate what I have and that includes my penis, my dick. For the longest time I thought I could only just be a bottom and bottoming is the way to go, but having have people around me who celebrated what I had, enabled me to be able to be a better top, a better Dom, and a better FemDom gave me more empowerment in regards to my sexuality, and to the things I now enjoy today. I can’t imagine going back to a life of being vanilla again. I like things spicy in the bedroom and kink is definitely my go to. (Laughs)

Miles: And I think one of the things that’s unique about Kink.com as site is the culture that surrounds it, is the

exploration of con-noncon; which I think was a little bit more taboo and I think a lot of people have that fantasy, the most common fantasy that Cis women have is the “Rape” fantasy, but they want to be in a consensual form and before that site started to blossom people didn’t realize that it was OK to fantasize about that as long as you were doing it with someone that you were doing it with consensually, and that you could set up some boundaries and safe words and things like that...

Venus: I think having that culture helps set up that dialogue and that tone for the space and how the play can commence and under what boundaries and limitations that we have set for each other. So it’s nice to know where the boundaries are and not worry about “am I pushing the boundaries.” Having that Safe Word helps you to be able to navigate where that is, so I think that is something I appreciate, especially having that interview process to be able to go over the day’s events and scene, what may happen with role-play and BDSM play, and be able to have that as a way to reference what we want to do and what we don’t want to do and how we can have the best fun, sexual, time where we’re riding on pleasure, or some pain, if you’re into that.

Miles: All the way back to when you first started thinking about being sexual. The very first person you had sex with, was that Cis girl or was that a guy?

Venus: It was with a guy, where we kind of like were young and horny and naïve. I would say that we had an interesting time, we would flirt with each other, we sat next to each other in class and we would just flirt and make eye contact and when we were having a break time from classes, we would hang out with each other and we could do little pervy things behind the school grounds, and that’s how I kind of got more exposed to navigating

my sexuality and being able to start exploring more and became more of a slut over the years. I think it’s just constant exposure and not fearing about experimenting and exploring, no matter whether you grew up in a very conservative situation or not, which I grew up in a VERY conservative household... so sexuality and talking about that with family was very difficult and being the only child, it definitely was difficult to navigate that with parents, so having had that moment to explore as a younger kid, I think as an adult allowed me to be able to be more comfortable in my skin and navigate more about my insecurities and how I could challenge myself to overcome insecurities and I think just being around good people who are there to be your friend and be able to be OK with you, if things don’t work out perfectly and be able to still have a good time; just understanding people who don’t have high expectations; I think that helped me build up my character and my ability to shine on camera. I know having been with people who can boost me up, I think it has really shown in my videos that I’ve come very far when it comes to my confidence and the energy that I put into the videos that I make and the scenes that I perform in. I think having more years of experience to have underneath my belt gives me that kind of confidence boost.

Miles: Now that’s interesting... The first time that you had an experience was with a guy. Before you got into the business, did you also explore Cis women

too? And did you also explore Trans women too? And how did that sort of progress and what do you see is the difference in the sex between a guy a Cis woman, and a Trans woman?

Venus: As a pansexual I love all genders: Trans, Non-binary, Cis folks, even those that don’t identify their gender. So when it comes to Cis women, to answer your first question, I hadn’t had my first Cis woman until my first scene with TS Pussy Hunters so it broke a lot of cherries. I had girlfriends or pseudo girlfriends in order to kind of pass as a straight guy before my transition and that was my only interaction with Cis women, but it wasn’t until I transitioned and I was auditioning for TS Pussy Hunters, that I was able to have my first experience with a Cis woman and it was Kaylee Hilton... She was very sweet and kind and very patient with me. I was very nervous, but I got through it and had a great experience. I definitely had to think about it for a while because it was a big decision to make my first porn video and to have sex with my first woman ever and also, my first woman that had piercings all over; tongue piercings, navel piercings, vagina piercings, it was a lot to digest, but I think her being eccentric really captivated me, that was my first scene I was 20 or 21. As for Trans women, I have only been exposed to Trans folks as queer man. I was out as gay when I was young. I was exposed a lot of women, but never looked at them as a way to be romantically involved or sexually involved. I think it

was just more so this is a person who was part of the community. I was around 18 or 19 when I was able to encounter my first Trans sexual woman that really captivated me, and I somehow was more gravitated to her energy because she gave off a lot of feminine energy. I did not know she had a penis; I was very surprised that she was a Trans woman that had a penis. She was so feminine in her way and thankfully she gave me a lot of time and energy and patience to educate me about her Trans life enough to inspire me to transition.

Miles: So a pivotal moment in your life then?

Venus: Yes, a very pivotal moment in my life and this was before Caitlyn Jenner was a thing and long before Laverne Cox and all these celebrities that were transitioning. So when it comes to role models, it was difficult to find, so having her really was pivotal to set things in motion to where I am today, so I thank her and my friend Paulina who helped me with my transition. I think when it comes to Trans sex, I would say I’ve kissed a Trans man when I was younger, but never had thought about having sex with a Trans man, Darcy was his name and he was partnered with his boyfriend, it was very interesting. I was very much exposed to Poly couples and Trans folks at young age being in San Francisco, you’re surrounded by it all. I never really questioned it nor did I feel like I had the need to inquire about one’s process about transitioning and how far they were in the transition, but just more reading people‘s energy as they come, so we had a first kiss, but never hooked up. I had my first Trans woman when I first started in the industry. I think my first Trans woman was Foxxy or Ava Lynn. I was learning that there are many types of Trans women who enjoy Cis

women, Cis men and enjoy other Trans women folks, so it’s been an interesting journey for sure.

Miles: So I guess the next logical question is in your off camera time during your sexual journeys, have you had any threesomes or orgies? And your mind‘s eye what’s your favorite if you had to pick the favorite Venus Lux threesome would it be with a Cis woman and Cis man? Or would it be different combination?

Venus: Yes!! I would love any combination or menagerie like a buffet of people enjoying themselves. I think at this point, as you know, being sex positive and living such a sex positive lifestyle has put me in a place where I want to enjoy people enjoying themselves as long as we can share space and not yuck anyone’s yum, we can share the space. We don’t have to interact with each other, but we could have different sections of the space and enjoy ourselves as a voyeur or as a participant. That’s what I enjoy and I’ve gone to my fair share of sex parties and play parties and I actively still participate. I think these days I am sometimes a voyeur, but I have my moments where I prefer to organize my own sessions, where it’s in my private domain and I am able to have things set up the way it is from scented candles, to toys, to snacks. I am a hostess with the most-est. (Laughs) I like to make sure everyone has everything they need to be able to have a good time, there is no, “No” for

me. I think the only part where I say that I would draw the line would be when there’s a level of abuse or non-consensual conduct.

I like people who are respectful and as long as you are able to communicate in a polite way that maybe something is bothering you, or you’re uncomfortable with something, that’s fine, we can remain professional, and mature about things, but these days I have a lower tolerance for bad behavior and people who make excuses for those bad behaviors, and people who don’t take accountability, so I think as long as that is also part of the guidelines within the safe space/ play space, I’m happy. I think it’s having the right people with the right mindset, and people who are going to be respectful.

Miles: Now here’s an interesting question, and I know a lot of folks will want to know: With all the myriad of sexual experiences that you have had, what is the craziest sexual experience or the craziest place you’ve ever had sex your life? A time when you were like “Wait a minute! That was a really crazy experience.” (Laughs)

Venus: That’s so hard…. I’ve had some stories like that for sure. I’m trying to think which one is my favorite, from like fucking in a U-Haul or fucking in movie theater, (Laughs) but there is no “favorite”, I’m always cultivating new memories. I’m constantly collecting new memories or making new memories, like skinny dipping in a lake and fucking lake.

I think they definitely go on the list too. I just know that the kink never ends once the camera is off, so, that’s my two cents. (Laughs)

Miles: What about something a little bit more non-sexual what are your hobbies?

What would you like to tell your fans about? Do you have any pets?

Venus: I don’t have any pets right now. I love traveling, that’s one of my hobbies, traveling is high on my list. Some of my hobbies that most people don’t know about me I would say, are fishing, hunting and cooking.

Miles: That’s right you have a boat!

Venus: Yes, I have a boat. But it’s a Pontoon Boat, that’s more leisure boating and just enjoy the sun but when it comes to fishing, you could fish off that. I like Fishing and hunting and cooking, I like foraging, I like gardening too. Living in Tennessee now, it’s nice to be able to have more nature day to day. I like being able to be in that environment where it’s lush and there’s countryside for me to roam. The city life has its moments, I grew up in the city, my whole entire life in San Francisco, as I’m getting older, I enjoy having more space and more toys and hobbies. (Laughs)

Miles: Now you said that you’re a hunter also, do you shoot long gun or shotgun?

Venus: Yes, I actually more so accommodate friends who have guns. My dad is an ex-cop who collected guns and enjoyed hunting, so we ate very well as a kid when it came to wild game. He imparted a lot of survival skills on me as a young kid, so hunting

game, skinning, cooking and butchering were things I learned as a kid and I was unable to play with that in the city. Where do you do that in San Francisco? So now I’m in a space where I can dabble with or “play” with guns and go hunt for deer, or hunt for pheasant, or doves, or turkey, it’s kind of fun. I know there are many options to play with and I am curious about playing with a crossbow. It’s an easier way of cleaning up when you hunt animal you don’t have to deal with metal shards or buckshot. That’s something I’m dabbling with being in a space where there are wild animals to hunt everywhere, you could just see a wild turkey cross the road in the country, I’m an hour out of Nashville in the countryside.
