50 Years and Still Going Strong!

1969 was one of the most important and interesting years in our country’s history! Richard Nixon was inaugurated as the 37th President … the Stonewall Riot occurred in New York City and marked the start of the Gay Rights Movement … Apollo 11 landed on the moon and Neil Armstrong & Buzz Aldrin took a “Giant Leap For Mankind” … Woodstock took place in upstate New York … and The Todd Video Store opened their doors here in Tampa! The Todd Video Store was one of the first adult oriented retail outlets in the state of Florida. To say a lot has changed in fifty years would be a gross understatement. The family run store has always been a trendsetter. It opened as Todd Video, changed to The Todd and today is called Todd Couples Superstore. Major changes were made in 2004-2005 and again in 2010. A second store in Port Richey was added five years ago and both locations are doing great! Today’s clientele is mostly female as lingerie, shoes and dance wear make up half the store. The Todd Couples Superstore carries hundreds of styles, colors and sizes of clothing, including plus sizes. The key to The Todd is their staff as current management has been in place for over seven years and they have multiple people who have over twenty years working for the company. All employees are trained

and extremely knowledgeable about every product they sell including clothing, adult toys, CBD products and lubricants. They even have a “Lube Bar” where customers can touch, feel and taste lotions, massage oils and lubes. The store also carries a huge line of male and female enhancement products, an amazing line of vibrators and BOB’s (Battery Operated Boyfriends), multiple fetish items, bachelor & bachelorette party gifts and adult DVD’s. The Todd gives back to the community by sponsoring events throughout the year with The Shriners, Breast Cancer Charities, Wounded Warriors and area hospitals. If you had the chance to read Paul Allen’s Publisher Letter you know how pumped up we are to bring the Awards Show to Thee Manor Gentlemen’s Club! It should be one amazing (and crowded) night! I’m looking forward to the new club and I know it will be a blast!

To say we are excited is an understatement! The 27th Annual NightMoves Awards is moving to a new location. We will be at the all new, completely remodeled Thee Manor Gentlemen’s Club located at 3860 Ulmerton Road in Clearwater on Sunday night October 13, 2019. The club has all new carpet, new furniture, new light & sound systems and a new stage. The General Manager is Rob Rice (who took home our Lifetime Achievement Award last year) and you know he will run the club the way a club needs to be run! Not only will we be giving away numerous local and national awards … this year we will also host the NightMoves Showgirl Invitational Dance Contest. In between awards you will see seven of the top feature showgirls in the USA compete for $5,000 and a return booking at Atlantis Gentlemen’s Club in March 2020. The feature acts include: Blake Monroe, Dinah Might, Janine Jericho, Justice, Shar Zayn, Shelby Doll and Stacy Diana! We will have celebrity judges and it will be an evening to remember! There is no doubt in my mind that this event will sell out. Thee Manor will be installing an exterior tent for overflow people. We will be selling VIP tables and stage seats starting September 15. I also want to wish the Tampa Bay Buccaneers good luck in their upcoming season. I think new head coach Bruce Arians will have his work cut out (see my complete NFL predictions inside this edition). I also hope the Tampa Bay Rays are still in the hunt for a playoff spot. This team is amazing and I would love to see another World Series run! I also want to wish the USF Bulls good luck and let’s hope they can win at least six games and be bowl eligible this season. Have a fantastic month and maybe I’ll see you in Miami for the Exxotica Expo September 6—8!

We have a great lineup this year … especially with the seven feature showgirls in town for the Dance Invitational Contest. I can’t wait to see Adriana Chechik again as she will be hosting the show along with our favorite drag queen Kamden Rage! We are also happy to see Lauren Phillips, Penny Pax, Misty Stone, Emily Addison, Christie Stevens and Victoria Voxxx (plus many others) in town for our wild and crazy weekend! Our Star Caravans will be at: The Whiskey on Thursday night 10/10 … 4-Play Gentlemen’s Club on Friday 10/11 … Sinsations & 2001 Odyssey on Saturday night 10/12 … and then the Awards Show at Thee Manor on 10/13. FanFest will once again take place at the Clearwater Clarion Hotel Ballroom on the corner of US Highway 19 and Gulf-To-Bay Boulevard from 1pm -6pm and feature our annual bikini contest. ARE YOU READY FOR SOME

FOOTBALL

The NFL season is here and I am super excited! Teams have made trades, changed coaches and drafted rookies to get ready for the season. Will the New England Patriots win another Super Bowl? Will the Cleveland Browns be as good as they look on paper? Will the Bucs go 5-11 for the third straight year? All of these (and many more) questions will be answered between now and January. As I do every year … here are my NFL predictions.

AMERICAN FOOTBALL CONFERENCE (AFC) EAST DIVISION:

1) New England Patriots – No more Gronk but the Pats still have Tom Brady and that’s enough for me! Can Belichick do it again? I say hell yeah … Look for another Super Bowl run out of this dynasty! 2) New York Jets – Le’Veon Bell (the new RB) and 2nd year QB Sam Darnold will lead the Jets. Adam Gase is the new head coach and this team could win 9-10 games. Look out New England! 3) Buﬀalo Bills – QB Josh Allen is exciting but the strength of this team is their defense. The Bills could overtake the Jets but I don’t see them unseating the Patriots. 4) Miami Dolphins – It’s rebuilding time in Miami. QB’s Josh Rosen or FitzMagic will lead the Fish but the Dolphins have a long season ahead of them … maybe 4-5 wins?

NORTH DIVISION: 1) Pittsburgh Steelers – Goodbye Le’Veon Bell … goodbye Antonio Brown … hello happy clubhouse and a division crown. Big Ben, James Conner & JuJu Smith-Schuster will do just fine in the Steel City. 2) Cleveland Browns – Maybe the most improved team in the league. They look amazing on paper but can they live up to the expectations? If Pittsburgh stumbles the Browns will win the division. 3) Baltimore Ravens – QB Lamar Jackson is the real deal! The Ravens will win their share of games and give the top two teams all they want. Don’t underestimate this team. 4) Cincinnati Bengals – Every division has its last place team and the Bengals fit that role here. Wide receiver AJ Green is injured and new head coach Zac Taylor will be lucky to win 3-4 games.

SOUTH DIVISION: 1) Jacksonville Jaguars – An improved team who will be led by new QB Nick Foles. If Leonard Fournette stays healthy the Jags could win the division. I see a 10-11 win season for Jax. 2) Indianapolis Colts – With QB Andrew Luck’s sudden retirement the Colts are not in position to win this division. Indy will still be above .500 but not a playoff team. 3) Houston Texans – QB DeShaun Watson was sacked a leaguehigh 62 times last year and that cannot happen if the Texans want to compete in this division. 4) Tennessee Titans – Can QB Marcus Mariotta stay healthy? Can RB Derrick Henry be as good as he was last year? These are big questions that need to be answered in this well balanced division.

WEST DIVISION: 1) Kansas City Chiefs – Even without RB Kareem Hunt the Chiefs are solid. QB Patrick Mahomes will be hard-pressed to duplicate last year and this defense needs help. Good team … not a great team. 2) Los Angeles Chargers – This could be the last hurrah for QB Phillip Rivers. RB Melvin Gordon is a hold-out but the Chargers are solid on both sides of the ball. 3) Denver Broncos – Joe Flacco is the new QB and he will bring experience to the team. Phillip Lindsay is the top RB. The Broncs will win more than they lose but won’t make the playoffs. 4) Oakland Raiders – This is the last year they play in Oakland before moving to Las Vegas. Jon Gruden’s team will be better than last year but still under .500 … even with Antonio Brown.

NATIONAL FOOTBALL CONFERENCE (NFC) EAST DIVISION:

SOUTH DIVISION:

1) Philadelphia Eagles – The key to Philly is the health of QB Carson Wentz. Ex-Buc WR DeSean Jackson is back and Jordan Howard is the main RB. Solid team all the way around. 2) Dallas Cowboys – Just when I was ready to pick the Boys to win the division, Ezekiel Elliot decides to hold-out. This team doesn’t need any more distractions but they still can win the division. 3) New York Giants – I want to see Eli go out a winner. Saquon Barkley is the #1 RB in the NFL but they lost WR Odell Beckham to Cleveland. If everything falls into place the G-men could sneak into the playoffs. 4) Washington Redskins – Look for rookie Dwayne Haskins from Ohio State to start at QB. That alone means a 4-5 win season in this tough division.

1) New Orleans Saints – This team is my pick to play in the Super Bowl. QB Brees- RB Kamara- WR Thomas … wow! Solid everywhere and experienced ... plus they get to play the Bucs twice! 2) Atlanta Falcons – The Birds will also make a playoff run and have a decent schedule. QB Ryan, RB Freeman and WR’s Jones & Ridley will put up a ton of points! 3) Carolina Panthers – I love RB Christian McCaffrey, he is one tuff SOB! The big question is Cam Newton 100% healthy? The defense needs to shine if the Pack plans to make playoffs this year. 4) Detroit Lions – Another losing season is in store for the Lions. It’s hard being a sports fan in Detroit with the Tigers, Red Wings, Pistons and Lions all non-playoff teams.

I like their defense so it could be a fun season in SF! 4) Arizona Cardinals – The Cards will be led by rookie QB Kyler Murray and that alone makes this team interesting. They need RB David Johnson to be solid if they are going to win anything.

How is feature dancing different than making movies? First there’s the camera vs live show part of it. I love performing live. There’s no take 2 if something happens so it keeps me on my toes. I also get to listen to music all night vs quiet during filming. And of course getting to actually meet my fans in person and thank the people who have been supporting me all these years and get to know a little about them. They’ve really been so good to me and I love them.
