Topic overview

ISSUE The office workers are lack of exercise and they sit all day. They’re all well aware that sitting at a desk all day isn’t a healthy way to live, but many of workers have to do it anyway. Whether it’s sitting all day, ruining your eyes staring at a computer screen, or messing up your wrists at a keyboard, office work is a lot more dangerous

_

than they’d think. It might not seem like it, but all that inactivity

_13

leads to some serious problems in the long term. We’ve dug into

_

the effects sitting all day has on your body before, and they’re not

_

pleasant. Long term effects include increased risk of heart disease

_

and certain cancers. Even in the short term sitting too much

_

changes how your body deals with fats and leads to weight gain.

_ _

WORKAROUND Employers, employees, and space interact with each other to produce good working environments. I want to create good work environments for office workers and give workers “Active” environments. In these good environments that have different interactive design facilities office workers are under the influence of interactive environments. Office workers make themselves getting healthy behaviors and lifestyle.

Three Habits

1

Use culture relevance to create on going momentum (Self Promotion)

2

Learn the language of client (Working with Clients)

3

Make design invisible (Technology)

Three Habits

Use culture relevance to create on going momentum Working style of each country is different because of the cultural differences. It is very important that make people identify with topics or ideas. Plus cultural considerations in the design or ideas and it make programs more in–depth and easily understandable for people.

Learn the language of client

_ _ _ _ _ _33

To communicate with customers is not enough just to understand

_

the background of them and also need to know the language

_

of communication methods. There would be no barriers to communication with customers.

Make design invisible It will be nice not to let design do not exaggerate and use natural way to communicate with people. Design can exists in people’s lives and presents by a simple way. This is very important the key point for my topic.

WORK IN STUDIOS I want to learn different experiences from studios such as the needs of the industry, the newest trends in design area or how _ _ _ _

to run a company, etc. These are the schools and can not learn and have a deeper understanding of how to communicate with customers or what they need.

TEACH

_ _ 36_ _

After I have wealth of experience than I can do the work of teaching in Taiwan. It will be nice to use the teaching methods what I learn from U.S.A implemented in Taiwan. Let the students know what is different between America and Taiwan’s design concept. I wish I could make Taiwan’s students’ design have more of a global perspective.
