faro spignon:

living lightly on water Landscape Design Studio, 1st Semester 2020/21 Prof. Matteo Poli, Prof. Nahid Vatanpour Individual Evaluation: 30 laude / 30 The project is a self-sufficient house located in the Venice lagoon. Attention is given to how the intervention affects the existing structure and its possible effects on the lagoon ecosystem at different scales. The relationship of the house with its environment, especially in relation to rising sea levels and climate change, require specific responses that take into consideration the required program, responsible design, and use of resources. A recording of the final presentation can be viewed at bit.ly/farospignon-video.

invasive landscapes:

strategies for the city of cremona Landscape Representation and Modelling, 1st Semester 2020/21 Prof. Alessandro Bianchi, Prof. Giovanna Sona Group Evaluation: 30 / 30 In order to rekindle the environmental sensitivity to the landscape of Cremona, this project proposes interventions that act as triggers for the peri-urban system that will reconnect its users, not just with the production, but with the land itself. The intention is to entice users to consume the landscape as both a productive and aesthetic one– creating and branching up ecological components linking rural and urban, natural and built. This project was developed in collaboration with Oriola Alhasa, Glen Carlo Canlas, Anashwara Jayakumar, Mariya Hamada, Fabiola Mogrovejo, Sri Vidya Mushty, Prathyusha Ravichandran, and Ranjana Siva.

equilibrio:

renaturing naviglio martesana Urban and Environmental Landscape Design Studio, 2nd Semester 2019/20 Prof. Fabiano Lemes, Prof. Emanuela Torrigiani Group Evaluation: 30 laude / 30 The project focused on systematic interactions between built and natural systems around the site. Starting with a larger scale analysis of Milan and its future development with particular focus on the Milan-Cortina axis, then zooming into the pre-determined area of intervention, and finally using analyses to select a final site and strategy for the project. The project followed the framework of a green-blue strategy taking into consideration selected sustainable development goals and ecosystem services then applying appropriate nature-based solutions on the final site. This project was developed in collaboration with Sandra Cornolti, Fernanda Furuya, Davide Montanari, and Felipe Ochoa-Gomez.

pearl:

residential condominium interior Professional Work as Freelance Architect, 2018 Tower B, The Pearl Place, Pearl Drive, Ortigas City, Philippines Design, Construction Drawings, Furniture Detailing, Coordination The project is a bachelor pad for a young professional. The client wanted both the ruggedness of industrial materials and the warmth of wood. Because the space is a minimum 18 sqm studio apartment, the client requested for customized furniture to suit his needs– with enough shelving for display and drawers for storage. Aside from the detailed construction and furniture drawings, electrical and lighting plans were also produced for compliance with the building administrator.
