Climate Responsive Design
The study focuses on climatic response and factors affecting it. The site is in Barot valley, H.P. runs through an imaginary story and mapping out the activities observed during the coldest, hottest and rainiest day of the year. The section through the valley towards the foothills have mapped changed accross all the seasons through slight human intervention to survive in the landscape.
The extreme climate affects the change in settlements. Size of the openings getting the winter sun through deep warm indoors.
