THE LIST THE PUBLISHER We have reached the 1 ½ year mark for NiteGuide this month. I can’t imagine where we will be in another year or so. We have done so much over the past 18 months and grown tremendously. I would like to thank all of our staff for being a part of the team and making this publication happen every month! FEATURED DRINKS Peter Rabbit

Searsucker [San Diego] 611 5th Ave, 92101 | 619.233.7327 |www.searsucker.com By Rachel Salas If children’s book character Peter Rabbit was of age to drink, he would certainly indulge in a cocktail complete with carrots and fresh greens. Luckily, there is a drink specially made for him. The Searsucker in San Diego is the newest restaurant in the Gaslamp District with critical acclaim stemming from its celebrity chef, Brian Malarkey of Bravo’s Top Chef. Innovative food and cocktails derive from this unique establishment. Searsucker’s best-selling drink is Peter Rabbit, made with Pimm’s #1, bruised basil, pressed lemon, and pickled carrots. When Peter, Mopsy, Flopsy and Cotton Tail grow up, they’ll be hopping their way into Searsucker’s for the best freshly-made cocktails. Perhaps there will be a follow-up story after their night out on the town?

Grab your trusted pen and notepad, round up the troops and head to fellow friend Ernest’s notable drinkery, Hemingway’s Lounge in Los Angeles. Like the saloons and bars frequented by our beloved classic writers, Hemingway’s Lounge fuels creative thinking with remarkable cocktails. Spring Rain is a frothy and tasty drink made with Akvinta Organic Vodka, Rock Sake Cloud, fresh pineapple and lime juice, and simple syrup. It is shaken and strained into a coupe and garnished with fresh mint.

The Shore [San Clemente] 201 Avenida Del Mar, 92672 | 949.388.5898 | www.theshoresanclemente.com By Rachel Salas

Chilled to perfection and uniquely refreshing, the sweet taste of The Shore’s specialty martini, Pink Halo, has captured the attention of all it encounters--good and bad. This tantalizing drink is made from freshly muddled raspberries, complimented by Stoli Razberi Vodka, and finished off with a splash of Piper Sonoma Champagne. Pink Halo is a specialized martini designed by The Shore’s owner, Tammy Williams. It was voted “People’s Choice - Best Drink in San Clemente” last year and continues to be The Shore’s topselling cocktail. Photo by Rachel Salas

“It was a fan-favorite at the San Clemente drink-off, which is held at a different establishment each year. It was voted on by the people,” said bartender Stephen Rible . “Tammy made that delicious drink. niteguidemag.com 7

Also adding flavor and texture are sea scallops, with just a hint of olive oil rounding out the whole dish. The perfect meal for any seafood lover with an appetite.

ASK A BARTENDER

Want tricks for getting drinks faster than that dude next to you? Ask A Bartender gives you insider insight on how.

Q: A:

Do you have any tips on how to get quick service at the bar when it’s super busy? – Thirsty & Impatient Dear T & I,

I can just see it now. You, standing in line outside, fidgeting impatiently with your ID in-hand as you near the entrance to your favorite spot. You finally pass the bouncer, throwing open the doors only to be confronted by a gust of hot air and a mosh pit of a line snaking around the bar like the Great Wall of China. You drop to your knees and start cursing at the bar gods for dooming this night into oblivion. The night is ruined! You, ruined! But all hope isn’t lost you poor, thirsty (and dramatic) soul. The answer to getting quick service in the trenches comes down to achieving two goals quickly – standing apart from the crowd (in a good way), and establishing a quick rapport with the bartender. Emphasis on quick. From us to you, I give:

to tip and choose to help someone who will. And while we’re on the subject of tipping, here’s one last tactic to try. Establish yourself as a good tipper during the first round. It doesn’t have to be extravagant; instead of the usual two dollars for two drinks, go ahead and give five. The bartender will notice, and you instantly go from “just another guy” in a crowd of faceless drunks to “just another guy who looks like every other guy but deserves stronger, faster drink.” You’d be surprised how far a few extra dollars can go.

So there you have it. Help keep us afloat and we’ll return the favor. With a bit of strategy and healthy dose of common sense, you’ll be drunk in no time. And if you’re not, then you might be the guy who’s flailing. Maybe look into that. ;)

INDUSTRY MOVERS & SHAKERS Featured VIP Waitress Abbigail Peltier-Garcia By Christian Williams

Since moving out to Sin City in search of greener pastures, Abbigail found more than a job. She found an occupation that enables her exuberant personality to shine through. Currently working at multiple locations at the Palms Resort, Abbi sheds some light for us on herself and what she does. NGM: What attracted you to Vegas and the Palms? AG: I moved to Vegas because I was completely intrigued by the energy. I’ve lived in other major cities in the US, but the Vegas limelight is like nothing else I had ever seen. I started working at the Palms in Jan 2010 for many reasons; because it has a strong reputation of entertainment, and I knew that it was a “family work environment”. NGM: What makes your resort stand out? AG: We are pioneers of choosing music talent for Vegas. The Palms scouts out raw, fresh, and up in coming talent before anyone else. We attract the next generation of youth because we know what they want and we bring it to them. NGM: Which venues do you work at?

Featured Bartender Frankie Cullen By Kimberly Fisher

Frankie Cullen has bartended all over the country for 20 years. Fully experienced in every position including bartender, manager, bar back, etc. He’s now settled in LA working at MadBulls in Sherman Oaks, Lucy’s 51 in Toluca Lake and The Varsity in LA. NiteGuide gets up close and personal, learning a little about our June Feature Bartender. How you got started: It was really by dumb luck. I was in NYC with my friends back in 1992, and the Palladium in the city was doing a mass hiring as they had just fired most of their old staff. I was with friends applying. I wanted to go cause havoc in the city, drink a 40 oz., and hit up the adult shops, but we had to do this first. My friend told me to fill out an application for bar back. I don’t know what I said in that interview, but 2 days later, I was the only one to get hired out of my friends. I almost turned the job down. Within 2 weeks of working there, I was promoted to the VIP bar in the Michael Todd room. From there the two head bartenders trained me, I 30 niteguidemag.com

watched them entertain the celebrity crowd at the bar, and the big dollars were coming in.....The rest is history. The funniest thing you have seen as a bartender: There’s so many things you see nearly every night at the bar, from people accidently losing their clothes, to those that pass out and forget where they are. But if I had to pick the funniest, I would say watching a girl get sick, and then minutes later trying to make out with every other guy, although this one would fit into grossest as well. 3 Words that describe you: As a bartender I am known to be fast, I’m very social, I can have a great conversation with just about anyone, of course, I’m usually the flirt. Hey we are there to make money and have fun. A little flirting can go a long way. Dumb questions people ask bartenders: What do you like to make? If most bartenders answered honestly, they would say the quickest thing possible so I don’t have to answer dumb questions like this one.

AG: I work Ghostbar Wednesday’s for our industry night SNITCH... DOPE MUSIC and STIFF DRINKS! Also for Rain CLASH Friday’s and Paul Oakenfold’s PERFECTO Saturdays. NGM: What are some of your favorite spots to eat? AG: N9ne steakhouse will ALWAYS be my favorite spot to dine, you can bet on a consistent experience ( best porterhouse, kobe burger in Vegas.) For something quick I would say China Poblano at the Cosmo. Amazing tapas menu with culture and it’s delicious (get the short rib buns.) NGM: What’s a perfect weekend at the Palms? AG: Come in on Friday and check out the pool at Ditch Fridays, the hottest pool party in Vegas. That night visit Ghostbar to see the best view of Vegas, then go to Moon and see our retracting roof. The best is Paul Oakenfold’s PERFECTO at Rain. Aerialists, acrobats, characters, the hottest gogo dancers, international Dj’s, and an insane amount of fun! The Palms is the best summer party destination in Vegas. My co-workers and I know how to show everyone a great time!

Where you will be in 10 years: Well hopefully not still bartending, but there’s a good chance I could own my own bar. I would also be interested in creating my own business where I help people open up their own venue and get them ready and functioning within three months, move on to a new place, and yet stay on as a consultant.

Each city has its own vibe, with celebrity filled pool parties to swanky lounge’s and posh jammedpacked super clubs. Chances are I have worked them all more then once. Where you are going: Making plans to go on an overseas tour while still maintaining my local and national ventures. Finally updated my music studio and am diligently finishing custom projects to be released and for sale late 2011. Almost ready to announce my three disc mix CD. Release date is TBA (Waiting on mastering). The titles are “Super Human”; “Almost Human”; and “Beyond Human”. Dumb questions people ask: “Will you play that one song?” Seriously wish I had E.S.P. sometimes. But the worst is, “Hey can you sell me some drugs?” Idiots, not all entertainers do drugs, because I have never.

Where you have been: In my 14 years as a professional entertainer I have been blessed enough to perform in over 11 different countries in some major cities such as, Las Vegas, Vancouver BC, Los Angeles, St. Louis, London, Dublin, Seattle, Cancun, and Anchorage.

Working with Angel Music Group and MGM’s staff was a great way to educate myself further with event promotions and nightlife networking. Joey Belladonna (of ANTHRAX) By Heidi Darby

Frontman Joey Belladonna made history with Anthrax last year, playing on the legendary Big Four Tour, and looks forward to hitting multiple dates across the US. The bill for The Big Four consisted of thrash metal founders Metallica, Slayer, Megadeath, and Anthrax, and kicked off in Warsaw, Poland in 2010. On April 23, 2011, The Big Four made it’s first US showing at Southern California’s Indio Polo Fields. Belladonna notes that playing the US this year for the tour was a positive experience. “We got to be outside in the Palm Springs area, I’d never been out there. The crowd was amazing. Every one of those shows are super good because everybody’s there, for a lot of reasons. It’s nice to have them there for one day of full on metal,” Belladonna said. When not on tour with the power players of metal, Belladonna splits his time between Chief Big Way and the Belladonna band. While his side projects are more laid back, they offer fans a wider range of material, including Anthrax songs, solo material, and covers, with Belladonna moonlighting on drums as well as singing. “With Anthrax, there’s a lot of people involved. There’s all kinds of business transactions and things like that. The music is quite different. Chief Big Way is open to do whatever we feel. Obviously it’s cover music, it’s pretty low key. Mostly stuff I’ve done,” Belladonna said. Gearing up for solo dates, and with the recent announcement of The Big Four playing Yankee Stadium, fans have multiple options to catch him live. Anthrax continues to work on their upcoming album, and the New York native happily anticipates its completion. “We’re working on it right now. I’m looking forward to everyone hearing some new music,” says Belladonna. “I think you’re going to really dig it, it’s quite strong. It’s got some different, interesting songs, you may not have heard that side of us before. We’re looking forward to it. It’s early on but we’re digging in deep and trying to finish it.”

P

rogressive house/Trance master ATB [ a.k.a André Tanneberger] talks about how he’s not sick of playing “9pm ‘Til I Come” and his new album Distant Earth.

Where is ATB now? In the studio or are you on tour? After releasing my new album Distant Earth at the end of April I have now started my Distant Earth world tour with dates amongst others in Germany, USA, South Korea, Mexico, Slovakia, Russia and [Poland]. I’m really happy to be back on tour after a long time in the studio. After all, it was more than three months. For those who may not be familiar with your work, what would you describe your sound as? I like to surprise people and don’t want to be pigeonholed in a specific musical category. But if I have to summarize my sound I would say that you can find it somewhere between Trance and Progressive. It´s electronic dance music with a lot of melodies and emotions!

Last August (2010) you spun at Paul Oakenfold’s “Perfecto Night” as a headliner every Saturday at Rain Nightclub in the Palms Casino, do you have plans to do this again in 2011? It was fantastic to spin the decks at Paul’s “Perfecto Night” and I’m really thankful for this experience and unforgettable moments. But for me it’s also very important to discover new things and so I changed my residency to the new Marquee Nightclub this year. In the beginning of the year I already played there two times and to be honest there are no words to describe the unbelievable atmosphere of the club. You have to experience it yourself. Join me next time. His latest studio album Distant Earth hit shelves 4.24.2011 – So grab it now!

You have just released your ninth studio album Distant Earth what can you fans expect off that album? As the title of the album already reveals, the music on the album should make people forget the world around. From dreamy through trancey to progressive sounds I think there is something for everybody who likes electronic music.

With many accolades from DJ Mag, #11 in the world (2009 AND 2010) who do you find to be your toughest critics? To be honest I’m my toughest critic. This applies to my DJ gigs as well as of course my own music. For me it’s really important not to rest on my laurels and always to develop myself. And in order to develop, you also of course have to see what you do in a critical way. But especially when you’re creating music, you have to learn that there is a point at which you have to accept the final result and to say now it’s good as it is. “9PM (‘Til I Come)” is such an iconic dance anthem, do you ever get tired of playing it? I’m sure there is no one on earth who has heard this track as often as I have (smile), but no I’m not tired of playing it even if I proved more than once that ATB is much more than “9PM”. Of course this is a very significant part of my life and I will always have this track in my record case, but for me it’s really essential to continuously develop my sound as I have done in recent years. 42 niteguidemag.com

As on my last album, Future Memories, I also wanted to show people the two musical sides of ATB on Distant Earth. CD 1 represents the clubby, danceable side, CD 2 the quieter, tranquil, ambient side, which invites you to relax. I’m really happy with the album and hope the listeners like it as much as I do.

ELECTRONIC SCENE Movement Electronic Music Festival Hart Plaza [Detroit, MI] May 28th-30th Story by Christian Williams | Photography by Paxahau Detroit Michigan, a city known by most for its impact on the automotive industry, was running on something else for Memorial Day Weekend. From Saturday through Monday, the gears of this city were being turned by some of the best acts in electronic music. This festival has transformed into the best in the Midwest. With reasonably priced tickets for the whole weekend, people of all walks and occupations could endure high class entertainment all weekend long, without having to break the bank and punish their wallets. The thousands of electronic music enthusiasts piled into downtown Detroit’s spacious Hart Plaza to see their favorite musicians do what they do best; get the party started and keep it going all through the weekend. Most importantly, they made it a memorable one for everyone’s much loved springtime three day weekend. The Movement Electronic Music Festival didn’t have a problem topping the 100,000 mark, with the 105 well-known artists sharing their well-crafted sets with those in the massive crowd. The list of artists was probably more than the number of stars you can see on a night in any city’s downtown streets, with festival headliners including Tortured Soul, James Zabiela, Fatboy Slim, Felix Da Housecat, and a name found on almost everyone’s latest playlist and at every major festival, Skrillex. As electronic music continues to gain popularity throughout the United States, every city is trying to get on the map as the place to go to see the latest and greatest perform, and Detroit definitely solidified its place on that list with the Movement Electronic Music Festival 2011.

THE LOVE FESTIVAL LAS VEGAS Story & Photos by Alejandra Loera

Memorial Day Weekend, it’s the start of the summer and gives us an excuse to celebrate. For most nightlife lovers, Vegas is one of the most popular vacation destinations. With the rise of the electronic music scene, it also makes it a perfect destination for dance music lovers. Not too long ago, my life was changed at my first Go Ventures party, Together as One. I fell in love with the music, the people, the scene and everything else that comes along with it. I couldn’t wait to check out Go Ventures’ The Love Festival Las Vegas at the Palms Hotel. Pool parties, electronic music, and Vegas; what more could a girl who’s fallen in love want? As I walked into the Palms Pool for their Ditch Fridays Pool Party, the bright colors, peace signs and heart decorations instantly made me feel like I was at a real dance music event and not just a typical, flashy Vegas pool party. Morgan Page really got the crowd going bringing his Los Angeles vibe to the already raging pool. There’s something about that chilled Mojito and good music that makes you want to keep smiling all day and be happy to be on vacation. Sunday night, my girls and I entered Rain Nightclub for Day Three, greeted by sexy go-go dancers with glow sticks. We made our way upstairs to get a remarkable view as the club started to fill up. The awesome Ivan Gough, of TV Rock was spinning amazing popular house songs making the bright lights, funky decorations and wild dancers really enjoyable. By the time Marcus Schössow, one of my favorite Swedish DJ’s, came on stage Rain was packed and everyone was dancing the night away. He put on an incredible set full of progressive house and trance tracks. It was the perfect opening for one of Paul Van Dyk’s best performances in The States in years! Grammy Winning DJ, musician, and producer Paul Van Dyk, is the only DJ who has stayed in the World’s Top 10 DJ’s since 1998. After such a mind-blowing night I can see why. He has progressed from not just Trance, but to really revolutionizing Electronic Dance Music with a unique style. It was also a surreal experience being next to DJ Reza, the founder of Go Ventures, and experiencing the festival from his view. The Love Festival, Las Vegas gives you that real dance event feeling with the awesome experience of being at one of the most well known night clubs and pools in Las Vegas. It was a wonderful way to end the holiday weekend with your closest friends making memories that will be talked about for years to come.

MAY IN REVIEW: FEATURED EVENTS Newport Film Festival After Party Commonwealth Lounge & Grill [Newport Beach] Story by Fred Dyoll | Photography by Guillermo Luna

The 12th annual Newport Beach Film Festival was held April 28 through May 5, hosting several premieres and galas in celebration of the films. The event showcased over 300 films, and brought in roughly 30,000 attendees. The festival also offered attendees an opportunity to speak with those involved with the films, and attend the various parties held afterward. Commonwealth Lounge & Grill created the perfect atmosphere for the party in honor of “Subject: I Love You.” The sleek decor and plush seating allowed both the stars of the film, and the partygoers, the perfect place to interact and unwind.

Commonwealth Lounge & Grill served as the perfect venue for the after party, with it’s serene view of the Balboa Peninsula, and patio seating. Inside the hard wood floors and elegant chandelier lighting offered a calming effect, while simultaneously bringing an exciting upscale feel to the night. The festival itself experienced high caliber talent, and youth film screenings throughout several Newport Beach theaters. One of the most prestigious film festivals in the US, The Newport Beach Film Festival not only offers amazing films, but beautiful venues for the postscreening festivities. With their variety of signature cocktails, delicious food, and perfect ambiance, Commonwealth Lounge & Grill held one of the most successful after parties of the eight day festival.

Though the event creates a great atmosphere for over-indulging, it also generates awareness for the culinary options the city holds. By allowing people to come together with friends and family and enjoy what the city has to offer, restaurants had the chance to gain recognition, and ideally more business. The win-win outcome of such an event brought out support from Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait, and various council members to cruise down the various aisles of local business. People were tempted with endless tastes of food, featuring 50 restaurants from across Anaheim. Handing out tastings were vendors including the San Francisco inspired Alcatraz Brewing Company, the celebrated chain Johnny Rockets, Big Thunder Ranch Barbecue, and La Brea Bakery, to name a few. There were also booths by community supporters including 93.1 Jack FM, Anaheim Ballet, Clipper Magazine, and Anaheim Historic Society. A silent auction also took place during the festivities. Imagine Dragons Viper Room [Los Angeles]

Story by Heidi Darby | Photography by RG Benhard Voted the best local indie band by Las Vegas Weekly, Imagine Dragons delivered a solid and charismatic performance at The Viper Room in Hollywood on May 16th.

Imagine Dragons were able to create an energy and atmosphere, that for an hour, existed with both purpose and pleasure for the people inside The Viper Room. The Las Vegas natives wove a mesmerizing set that explored the edgier side of indie-pop, and by the end of the show found a cohesive jam-like groove that literally left their fans asking for more.

Celebrating the release of their new album, It’s Time, the five piece indie popsters had the audience engaged from beginning to end. Charged with love for the crowd, lead singer Dan Reynolds swelled with emotion that carried his pleasingly full voice through the room. Creating an interesting layer within the group’s sound was keyboardist Brittany Tolman, who’s light harmonies and synth-inspired work on the keys added to their dynamic. Singing of self affirmation and realization, Reynolds embraced the energy from the crowd during his performance of the title track “It’s Time.” Also sparking the audience’s interest was the groove-filled ode to figuring out where to pick up chicks on “Tokyo,” also from the new record. Rounding out the stage were guitarist D. Wayne Sermon, bassist Ben Mckee, and drummer Andrew Tolman. “Cover Up” off the groups previous self-titled EP left a lasting impression with the crowd, which was filled with interaction and memorable guitar riffs from Sermon. Another standout came with the second to last song “Hear Me” that called out to the audience with a deep bass line and the lyrics “Can nobody hear me? I got a lot that’s on my mind.”

Akon

Sutra [Costa Mesa] Story by Fred Dyoll | Photography by LovinLife Multimedia R&B sensation Akon stormed Sutra on Friday, May 27, showing the Costa Mesa club goers an unbelievable night. The event was part of Sutra’s 5 + 1 Memorial Weekend event, serving as day three of the installments. Supported by DJ E-Man, Akon ran through a number of his hits, keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed. The venue opened it’s doors for the show at 9:00pm, and the party didn’t stop until the doors closed at 2:00. Akon is not only a great performer, but an entrepreneur as well. After earning a Grammy Nomination for “Smack That” off his second Album, Konvicted, he founded two record labels, Konvict Muik and Kon Live Distribution. Now with six Grammy nominations under his belt, he has produced hits for artist like Lady GaGa, and Leona Lewis, and has worked with performers including Bone Thugs and Harmony, Quincy Jones, Eminem, and Whitney Houston. With the lights and glamour of Sutra, Akon easily fit into the atmosphere of the nightclub, which was voted “Readers Choice Best Dance Club in OC”. The show was amazing, as were the beautiful attendees. Drinks were flowing, bodies were moving, and Akon was churning out one great song after another. If Memorial Day weekend is considered the beginning of summer, then this was a perfect way to start it off. niteguidemag.com 47

The world is full of The world is full of men and women, singles and couples, who do not understand each other. And this often leads to misunderstandings, which lead to arguments, which lead to the breakdown of a relationship. So here are just a few of the things that men wish women knew about them. 1. Don’t be afraid to make the first move. Men have been burdened with the societal norm that they should be the ones to make the first move. If I am interested in someone, I will ask them out. You cannot complain that no one asks you out if you are not willing to make the first move. Take your dating life into your own hands. Plus, most men find confidence to be very sexy. 2. Project confidence and self-esteem. Be comfortable with who you are. Selfesteem is very attractive. Complaining and self degradation are not. And dress in a way that makes you feel good no matter what your body style. If you step up your game and are confident, he knows that he has to step up his game to keep you. If you don’t respect yourself, he won’t either. 3. Men don’t see the little flaws that we see on our bodies, so stop focusing on them. I was talking to a guy who I had sex with on a few occasions. I mentioned my surgery scars. He actually looked at me and said, “What scars?” I was dumbfounded for a moment, then realized that he didn’t see them. I was so self-conscious about them, that I saw them as much worse than they actually are. 4. Ask for what you want. Don’t make men guess. Subtle hints don’t work! Strong hints don’t work! Obvious hints do not work! Just say it! Men and women have different communication styles. Women tend to be more subtle about what they want and hint at it rather than just saying it. You have to tell a guy exactly what you want in order for him to understand it. You cannot get frustrated with him when he doesn’t understand what you are implying. And don’t be afraid to ask for what you want. If you don’t, you won’t be happy and your relationship will suffer. 5. If a guy asks you what is wrong and you say “nothing,” he has to assume that nothing is wrong. If something is wrong, tell him. Don’t play the “You have to figure out what’s wrong” game. Men don’t know the rules of the game and they never win. 6. Looking at other women is not the same as not wanting to be with you. Okay, now if he’s staring to the point that he forgets that you are there, that’s a problem. Most of the time, looking at other women is normal. Just because you are in a relationship with someone doesn’t mean you no longer are attracted to anyone else. Plus, most of the time it isn’t even about her appearance. He’s just looking at people walking by. He looks at other men too, you just don’t notice it because you are not threatened by it.

HOROSCOPE

Gemini | May 21- June 21 By Kristin Halberg

Happy Birthday Gemini! What a great year to be you! Lots of time to relax, take it in and appreciate what you have around you, which is more than most. This coming year is one to celebrate… and you really seem to be the social butterfly of the year. Expect a lot of new friends, new romantic endeavors, and a full dance card to fill up your already jam-packed plate.

This is the

year to be your personal best, because this is the time to grasp it. As with any personal growth, there are likely to be growing pains, but in the grand scheme of things, the year should round out to be a good, dare I say, great one! Romance: This might not be the year to settle down for you, Gemini, if you’re still single. With your increased social life, there are just too many fish in the sea, and they seem to really love your, um, bait. Concentrate on your friends; enjoy the world around you for a little bit. The end of the year may bring a special surprise for being diligent and keeping your high standards. Don’t let your natural indecisiveness be a romantic hindrance come October. Go with it. You may be pleasantly surprised at how decisive you actually can be. Career: This area will be a pitfall this year. Ever heard of “weathering the storm?”

Get your best raincoat and galoshes out

because it is headed your way. You might have a saboteur at work, so watch your back. Let your boss know just how valuable you are- and then remember that when you get home each night. Come Thanksgiving, all your hard work and patience should pay off, so don’t get too discouraged! Maybe this is the time to sit down and really think about what you want from your job, and decide if it’s time for you to head into a different direction. For your career, your new mantra will be “it’s the journey, not the destination”! Lucky Days: 5, 14, 23 (and Wednesdays!)
