Key Leader RECAP KEY LEADER-YOU KNOW! DC

Key Leader is a yearly Kiwanis event that just keeps growing in numbers. Every single year more and more Key Clubbers (and even non-Key Clubbers!) go to Camp Lebanon for this great leadership event. If you weren’t one of those who went, here is what you missed… 1. Our great facilitator Wendy! Wendy was a previous Circle K governor and now a major part of her Kiwanis club in Washington. She was a great asset to the weekend and a true inspiration. 2. Over 100 other people from all over New Jersey that are dedicated to service, just like you! 3. The greatest set of neighborhoods like FTW, Waffle Iron Munchies, and Alphabet Soup, who all created their own model communities and performed some great skits about the Key Leader values! 4. An environment geared towards helping others better themselves and learning more about ourselves so we can be better, more productive people. 5. The beautiful Camp Lebanon, great food, and tons of fun! (Even a dance party and a bunch of games!) If you were unable to attend this inspiring event this year, don’t fret! You will have a chance to go next year, and it’s not something that you want to miss!

That’s right, every year, outstanding club officers are recognized for their hard work and dedication to both the New Jersey District of Key Club and to Children’s Specialized Hospital! Of course, you may be asking yourself, “Am I eligible to be distinguished?” Well, if you’ve been doing your job as an officer, and have attended necessary District and Divisional events (like RTCs, OTCs, Fall Rally, and, if you’re President, PCMs), then you are certainly on the road to getting distinguished! All you have to do now is to keep up the amazing work for the remainder of your term in office! While with SATs, and, if you’re a senior, various scholarship applications, this may sometimes prove difficult, with proper time management, you can do it. Good luck and have great final few months in office! LTG Contact Info: sh.fiorino@gmail.com
