Hello Key Clubbers! As we prepare for the end of the service year, there are many important things to keep in mind. For starters, we hope you have all been reading about DCON, the annual district convention. This year, the convention is secret agent themed and will take place from April 1st to April 3rd. DCON is where being a Key Clubber really begins to stick so we hope you all try your best come! In February, we will be focusing on advocacy events at the elementary schools. Advocacy is a great way to get involved with the younger community. Through these events, we hope to inform younger children about Autism. More information will be sent out in the beginning of the month. In March, we will be hosting a Masquerade Ball to fundraise money! We need all hands on deck in order for this event to be a success. Keep an eye out for more information. As the service year ends, we hope you take some time to reflect on all the volunteer work we have done throughout the year. Also, make sure you keep track of your hours if you plan on running for an executive board position in March! Yours in Caring and Service, Shreya Keshive and the 2015-2016 Executive Board

THE LOREM IPSUMS

WINTER 2016

LIEUTENANT GOVERNER ELECTIONS On January 30th, 2016 our school John P. Stevens hosted the LTG elections. What is an LTG? An LTG is a dedicated Key Clubber that is in charge of an entire division, ours being division 14. A division constitutes of a number of schools that are nearby ranging from around 4 to 7. As an LTG you have to attend district meetings and discuss the progress of your division and pitch in new ideas to improve Key Club. During the elections our very own Rohan Mekala ran for LTG 14 and won the election! Be sure to congratulate him!

Rohan Mekala “People think volunteering is about spending hours bored out of your mind doing small tasks, but it is about so much more. It’s about helping the community and having fun with friends while you’re at it.”
