Cards for Veterans There was a great turnout this year for the Holiday Cards for Veterans event in the JFK Memorial Key Club. About fifty cards were made for the New Year and Christmas. The members had a great time doing it and some beautiful messages were written for those that have served our country day in and day out. Those brave people risked their lives every day. The least we could do is show them some holiday love to put a smile on their faces.

Cards for Veterans All the materials such as construction paper, markers, crayons, colored pencils, scissors and glue were provided by the club for the members. Many of them got very creative with it. They enjoyed it because it gave them a more hands on way to volunteer. They could personalize their cards any way that they chose. Not to mention that almost every single one had a heartfelt message in it.

Future Plans

For the new service year we have a multitude of great ideas. For example in February the Key Club will conduct a Valentines Survey. Many students participate in this survey. It is a way for young high school students to find their statistical soul mate . It is a fun and efficient way to raise money every year.
