A KEY CLUB NOVEMBER

Key Club, the oldest and largest community service organization for high school students in the world

Wow: October was a truly memorable month for service in Edison, and the EHS Key Club did not stop for a moment. From Fall Rally to our Hands of Hope Pumpkin Patch to EHS’s very own Halloween at the High, we truly had fun serving our community and enjoying the Key spirit. As we move onto November and approach the holiday season, let’s make sure to keep the Key Club momentum going!

Key Week kicks off a month of service known as the Kiwanis Family Month, hosted by Key Club’s parent organization Kiwanis. In other current Key Club news, sign-ups for Lieutenant Governor elections have begun. The Division 14 elections will take place at Westfield High School in early February. November is a month of service and awareness, so watch out for the following: the upcoming week is Hunger Awareness week, and November 17th is March of Dimes Awareness day. Also, be sure to check out the Division 14 Volleyball Tournament taking place on November 22nd. Sign ups must be completed by November 16 and tickets will be sold at the door at $5/ 3 lbs. of canned food.

Key Club unite! Key Clubbers compete in a fun-filled volleyball tournament and help raise food for the NJ Federation of Food Banks to help curb hunger!

KEY CLUB IN OCTOBER

Our Key Clubbers had a rewarding time with the children at The Hands of Hope Food Pantry’s Annual Pumpkin Patch on October 17th .

As usual, Halloween at the High was a phenomenal experience. Key Club’s room with an Under the Sea/Finding Nemo theme was a children’s favorite, many of whom often came back to play our Nemo games, color pictures, and decorate cupcakes. A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped out and our advisors for making the event so successful and fulfilling. 4
