Though the school year is coming to an end, the Key Club service year has just begun! The summer is the perfect time to volunteer in our local community. Even though there are no more service events at school, there are still plenty of other volunteering opportunities! Every other Saturday, you can volunteer at the Hands of Hope food pantry and help people carry food to their cars. Additionally, keep an eye out President Shreya Keshive for any emails regarding our annual beach sweep, which we plan on hosting in August. As you all know, our Key Club has been chosen to host Fall Rally! The executive board will be working hard this summer to design signs for the District Board members and brainstorm ideas for the event. We are always looking for your input so please be sure to share any unique ideas you have regarding Fall Rally with us! FUNDRASIERS Yuda Bands As mentioned in the previous newsletter our club participated in the Yuda Bands Fundraiser where we over sold 191 bands and raised over $1300 for 16 year old Willian Lool. Sales from yuda bands are used to build scholarship funds for youth in developing nations who are financially unable to do so. A yuda band is a handmade leather and coconut bracelet from Guatemala. This was a very successful fundraiser and a great start to an even greater service year. Remember to wear your yuda bands and show everyone you how you helped!
Pizza Sales! From June 1 to June 5, our Key Club had pizza sales in the main lobby! Numerous Key Clubbers came out after school to purchase and help sell pizza! By selling pizza we were able to profit $188.00 for our school club. Please look out for more upcoming fundraisers!

FALL RALLY
This year our club from all the key clubs in New Jersey has been chosen to host the annual Fall Rally on October 11th! This years theme is Dr.Seuss; all the LTG’s will be dressing up as your favorite Dr.Suess characters. What is Fall Rally? Fall Rally is a district gathering at Great Adventure Jackson, NJ where you attend a morning session and learn about all the new projects for the upcoming service year. Later you get to enjoy an afternoon of fun at the park. As a club we will have to make signs and get to the park early to help set up. Fall Rally is a great way to learn more about the club and make new friends! Make sure to look out for further information on how you can help as the school year approaches.
