What an amazing time we had last month at NetCon22! It was good to see so many of you and, for those who were unable to join us, we sure missed you! We had great crowds and amazing ministry times throughout the conference! Thanks to Sam and Vicki Farina as well as Maury Davis for their unique and amazing ministries they shared with us. We’ve heard so many positive and encouraging comments and are grateful to God for a wonderful conference! Click here nmministry.net to access the NetCon22 recordings, Report Book and Slideshow. Congratulations to each of the individuals who were Ordained (see photos) this year! This was one of our largest ordination classes in a long time and we are so proud of each one of them as well as those recognized for Certified and License levels. Congratulations to our newly-elected Executive Presbyters chosen at this conference. Pastor Brad Coates, Carlsbad First Assembly, is the new Executive Presbyter from Region 3 and Pastor Jeral Dickenson, Farmington CopperRidge, is the new Executive Presbyter from Region 1. Thanks to all of you who participated in this process and for those who prayerfully considered the possibility of serving in these roles. Becky and I want to say THANK YOU for the wonderful and generous love offering received for us at NetCon22. Please know that we never take these things for granted and we are humbled and blessed just to have the honor and joy of serving you! I also want to let you know that our personal schedules will be significantly impacted between now and August. In just a few days (May 25th) Becky and I will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! It seems like we were just kids when God moved us to New Mexico 47 years ago and you and the New Mexico Ministry Network have been and continue to be a huge part of our lives. We are grateful! Then, at the end of this month, we will begin our Sabbatical through the month of June and most of July. This is something that our Presbytery put in place a number of years ago which schedules sabbaticals every 7 years for those serving in the Network office. During this time away, Pastor Marcus will be the primary point of contact for anything related to our ministers and churches. Pastor Marcus, along with Dave Vistine (Honorary Presbyter) and our full Presbytery will be prepared to assist and serve as needed. Becky and I are so grateful for this time of rest and renewal and certainly would appreciate and cherish your prayers for this season away from the office. As I wrap this up, let me remind you that our summer camps at Cook Canyon will be starting in just a few days. This year’s camps are shaping up to be the largest ever and our prayer is that they will be the most impactful ever. I sure hope and pray that you’ve made it a priority for the students in your church to be a part of this camp season. Please pray for Austin and Brittni Poper, our Next Gen Pastors and camp directors, along with Duane and Vickie Garrison, our Cook Camp Directors, and all of the staff that makes camps happen. And, let’s pray that every student who comes to camp will encounter God in a way that impacts their lives from this point on. God, pour out your Spirit on our sons and our daughters! We love you all and pray that the summer months before us will be abundantly blessed!

AG Current Mission

New Mexico Royal Rangers

The Assemblies of God is working earnestly to progress the following missional directives. The AG is striving to build in every believer… 1. Dedicated Bible Engagement 2. Surrendering to the Holy Spirit 3. To be Missional and Missionary 4. Taught How to Pray 5. Taught How to Worship 6. Taught How to be in Service 7. How to be Generous Royal Rangers is dedicated to these directives as it relates to building boys into Christlike men.

Current records indicate there are 16 chartered outposts (22 churches using Royal Rangers) with about 300 active Royal Rangers in New Mexico. The time is right in starting a trend of increase in all areas impacted by Royal Rangers – chartering increase, boy and leader advancement increase, event participation increases as well as an increase in intentional mentorship and discipleship. As we celebrate the first 60 years of Royal Rangers in New Mexico, we must renew our efforts to progress the mission of Reaching, Teaching and Keeping boys for Jesus Christ for the next 60 years.

Exciting RR Developments th

As we enter our 60 year of ministry to boys, Royal Rangers is evolving in exciting ways. 1. Royal Rangers and Girls Ministries are combining to create a gender specific ministry department under Church Ministries. 2. Royal Rangers and Girls Ministries will have comparable curriculum and training. 3. Chartering is going away. Curriculum will be available to any church. 4. Royal Rangers materials, gear and promotional items will be readily available through multiple avenues of purchase.
