I know we’re now several weeks removed from NetCon24, but for all of you who attended and even for those who had to miss, this year’s event was amazing! From the Top Golf meet up with fun, food, and fellowship to the incredible breakout sessions, the powerful services with Sean and Christa Smith, and the unbelievable altar times where God met with us, NetCon24 was definitely a time marked by God’s presence!
We came, we experienced, we heard from God, and we were immersed in His presence. We laughed and cried and enjoyed special moments together. It truly was a time marked by the Spirit of God as well as experiencing every moment of NetCon24 together. It was rich!
We were so glad to see one another when we arrived, and we really didn’t want to leave when it was over, but of course, at the end of the event, we all had responsibilities back home and now we live with the memories of NetCon24.
As I was reflecting on this today, I sensed God speaking to me from the backdrop of James 1:22-25:
“But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.
It’s almost been a year since our family made the move to Albuquerque, and from pastoring a local church to serving you out of our Network Office. The list of unexpected changes is long, but the highlight is YOU! My favorite parts of this job are talking with you, hearing how your family is doing, celebrating wins with you, grieving with you over disappointments and strategizing with you for the future. Whether it’s on the phone or in person, I value the time we get to connect. I spend so much time on the phone, and I love it…most of the time.
As I’ve navigated this past year personally and visited with different ones of you, I’m reminded that healthy ministers are the foundation of healthy churches and healthy ministries. Many of you have modeled staying healthy in the midst of a trying season. I’ve had similar experiences. My encouragement to us all is to be healthy and the starting point for health is our proximity to Jesus. So much of my ministry has been anchored in the great commission.
Matthew 28:18-20 “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
t is significant to me that 17 chapters before the commissioning, where Jesus tells us to GO and DO, he first
Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
There is just something about being close. My prayer for each of us is that our souls and lives would be healthy. And I am convinced the foundation is not in doing more, but in coming close to Jesus. I love to hear about your journey. Let’s walk in closeness together with Jesus.

What is Girls Ministries? Girls Ministries is a church-based discipleship ministry that focuses on the Titus 2 model of mentorship. It focuses on godly women coming alongside girls, guiding them on a path to become mature and godly women. Our goal is simple: To see every girl moving toward a deep relationship with Jesus Christ, and to realize her importance and potential in the kingdom of God. We have a 65-plus-year proven track record of helping girls become confident, godly women who are leaders in the church, home, and world.
Why Gender-Aligned?Research shows girls learn more quickly and deeply when they are taught by a role model. Girls need a real-life example. When a girl understands what it means to be a godly woman, she aspires to the design that God intended. NOW MORE THAN EVER, girls need to be taught who God is and what His word says for her today. In a world where gender identity and marriage are being redefined by culture, the church can help bring clarity to what it means to be a godly woman.

We are so grateful for all the credentialed female ministers in our Network! We honor you, we pray for you regularly and we need you!
We had our very own Breakout Session at NetCon24 on April 2 for all NMMN credentialed female ministers as well as any other woman who has been thinking about getting credentialed. I didn’t know how many would attend so I was pleasantly surprised by the attendance! There are many NM women who are “called” and want to develop the gifts & talents God has given them to be able to serve this generation and generations to come!
