Buns of Fun
Buns of Fun! Buns of Fun was founded in 2009 created by well received beach picnic bakes whilst on maternity leave since then it has gone from strength to strength. Ingredients used are of a Norfolk provenance where possible. Emma’s designs are exquisite and her work has been featured in numerous local publications with the Eastern Daily Press, UniquelyMagazine and The Guardian (coastal edition). Emma created the Gingerbread House at Holkham Hall for the Christmas Fayre 2012 and is already planning 2013s gingerbread magic! She also sells range of baking consumables - Angel Flames, edible glitters, cute cupcake cases and seasonal Bakin’ Crazy Gift Bags at Christmas, as well as rental/hire on Perspex tower cake stands. Emma has created Love Pots from Buns of Fun HQ as an answer to a friend’s Wedding who asked for something unique, bespoke and unforgettable for her Big Day. Love Pots (cupcakes in jars using Jubberwackys award winners) are now taking the Wedding world by storm as they are perfect for the bride who craves innovative wedding cake

and or favours, which can be personalised with a token quote to commemorate the Special Day. Love Pots are perfect for prolonging the memory long after the cake is eaten as Emma has created a range of extras including decorated scented tea lights and mini seed bombs snuggled in mini organza bags for guests to take away. Allow your guests and you indulge in delicious Strawberry Plunge (vanilla Victoria sponge with strawberry jam and vanilla pod buttercream) and Lemon Soul Mate (lemon curd and lemon sponge with zesty buttercream) Love Pots. Emma is keen to promote a responsible recycling incentive and be as ecology friendly as possible by suggesting uses for re-Loving her Pots with the tea lights and seeds as a way for guests to remain part of the celebrations a little longer. Emma has also created these little darlings for Christenings and corporate events, all round these are perfect for guests to be reminded of your event.

Dazed Photography We understand that when a couple decides on a photographer for their wedding, they are placing an immense amount of trust in that person to produce an account of their big day which they will want to treasure for the rest of their lives. With Dazed Photography, the bride and groom have the opportunity to have their wedding captured by two professional photographers - fun and friendly couple Victoria and Rob - who understand the importance of taking beautiful images which not only document the day’s events but also reflect the smiles, joy and laughter which make weddings so wonderful. We love those priceless candid moments; the proud look of a father seeing his daughter in her dress for the first time, the mischievous glance of an excited flower girl, the shaking of the groom’s head as the best man delivers that classic punch line.
Taking a photo-journalistic stance - and in an unobtrusive manner - we aim to capture these spontaneous little details, plus the must-have group shots and individual portraits of family and friends, to provide the most true, creative and emotive pictorial record of your day. Celebrating the things which make each wedding unique is something we embrace. We invest time in discovering your personalities and individual styles; whether it’s through a relaxed chat, a pre-wedding visit to your venue or an engagement shoot. We want our images to reflect the ‘feel’ of your wedding and showcase all those efforts you have made to make your day special to you. Perhaps you have lovingly decorated your wedding shoes, made pretty bunting or rehearsed a surprise first dance. We also relish the challenge of photographing diverse venues. Beaches, hotels, fields, barns, churches and cathedrals - we have gained valuable experiences from them all!.
Our investment in your wedding does not stop once the guests have gone home. We feel passionately that your favourite images should be lovingly presented and preserved forever in a bespoke album. We provide at least 300 high resolution images on a beautifully-cased disc, however a disc will never be an heirloom. Technology changes, but a book will tell your story again and again. Couples can choose from a range of British custom-designed, sustainably sourced natural covers, including leather, silk or cotton, to create a luxurious fine art book to your specification. Whether you share our affinity for vintage or wish to go eco-friendly, we can offer you an album you will want to cherish. We understand, however, you will want to see your images right away so we get editing swiftly and will post an online gallery within a couple weeks to sate your appetite until your album is crafted!
Dazed Photography
We also specialise in enhancing our photographs with one of six romantic ‘vintage’ effects. If you are not sure if you would like all your images to be treated this way, we offer a ‘mix and match’ option where you can choose 10 images to be processed with the distinctive effects.
Our flexibility extends to our pricing. We offer a large range of competitive options to suit most budgets. For a bespoke quote and for further details and image galleries, please visit www.dazedphotography.com

Bold lips are certainly perfect for the bride that likes to make a statement. It is great, because you can reflect your personality in the choice of your colour and it can be as bright and bold as you would like it to be. When highlighting the lips, it is often advisable not to go overboard with the eye makeup – it can look heavy for such occasion. Bold lips will highlight your smile and will be a focus point in the photos, so make sure you are comfortable with the choice of the colour you go for!

Laura has brown eyes and dark hair so for her look Sarah used browns and gold’s to achieve the smoky and sexy look. If highlighting the eyes, it is best to keep the rest of the face fairly neutral for the maximum affect.

The Key To Losing Stubborn Body Fat For Your Wedding
Top tips from skin therapist and creator of the ‘U and your skin facial’ Louise Thomas-Minns
In this article I’m going to show you how to melt the stubborn fat you just can’t seem to shift. A flat tummy seems to be top of the list for many of our female clients. But, before I do, I’ll begin with an admission. I read more women’s fitness magazines than I do male fitness magazines. These huge publishers spend millions on surveying their target audience to uncover exactly what it is they want so they can write articles and features which resonate. They flag these up with brassy headlines to do the heavy lifting needed to give their magazine the best chance of being the one that is picked off the shelf. I’m currently looking at a copy of one on my desk with the headline “6 Big Cakes That Shrink Your Waist” emblazoned across the top of it. A cleverly spun attention grabber to fix the gaze of the potential female purchaser as their eyes scan the fitness and lifestyle rack looking for a way to shift stubborn body fat from their tummy. When we read magazine headlines like this, amazingly we are able to suspend our disbelief and say to ourselves “You can eat cake and shrink you waist?” Maybe we’ll find out soon. . As a fitness professional with a reputation for expertise when it comes to getting body transforming fat loss results for my clients I’m always interested to know exactly what people want, just as the magazines do, so that I can design solutions that get them results. As I said earlier, it seems a flat tummy is top of most people’s list.
The Key To Losing Stubborn Body Fat For Your Wedding
“I’m really surprised, but amazed by the result. I lost 6.5% body fat, 10 lbs since starting bootcamp and 3 inches over my body. I now feel more comfortable in tight fitting clothes, much happier showing off my arms, even though they are not smaller, they are definitely more toned and defined.” So, let me show you how to get one…. I’m a big believer in the saying that “success leaves clues” which basically means that if you want to achieve something, find someone that’s already done it and copy what they did. Laura is one of our fitness bootcamp clients and is getting married soon. She followed our 28-day fat loss programme to burn away those last few stubborn pounds of body fat to start shaping her wedding dress body. She is going to look amazing on her big day! In that 28 days Laura didn’t do any long cardio workouts or any sit-ups or crunches because, contrary to popular belief, these exercises do not burn fat from your tummy. She followed our structured training plan, attending 3 x 45 minute training sessions per week of higher intensity exercise. Underpinning this was the key to losing stubborn body fat for your wedding: Nutrition. Nutrition makes up 70% of effective fat burning. Give your body the correct nutrients, it rebalances your hormone levels and allows your body to drop fat rapidly. Laura didn’t count one single calorie using our ‘done for you’ our nutritional system. Our system detoxes your body but does not leave you hungry. Mainly she cut out processed carbs and refined sugars - both of which you’ll find in vast quantities in cake!

Which takes me back to “6 Big Cakes That Shrink Your Waist”. I rush to the feature in the magazine, eager to find out more. I get to it and begin reading… unfortunately the article does not show me any proof of anyone who has eaten these 6 cakes and shrunk their waist just a claim that research shows those who eat cake weigh less than those who don’t. Really? How many participants were in that research? Two is my guess!

Winter Proof Your Skin!
Top tips from skin therapist and creator of the ‘U and your skin facial’ Louise Thomas-Minns
Question: We have only had a few days of colder weather but I have noticed that my skin seems to be changing and not for the best. Its feels tighter and drier and I have some spots which I never usually experience. Any ideas as to why and what I can do to help?
Answer: With the first cold snap of winter forcing us to don our scarves and gloves and to crank up the heating our skin can start to manifest a whole host of unsightly changes. Read on and I’ll walk you through a winter wonderland of tips to winter proof your skin.
Problem: Dry and flaky. Louise Recommends: Any moisturiser worth entertaining should contain ingredients that are found in our skin. I use and recommend to my clients products that contain Hyaluronic acid, the moisture binding component of the dermis. Tip: Apply your moisturiser to slightly damp skin this will further enhance its humectant properties and make your product go a little further.
Problem: Uncomfortable tightness. Louise recommends: Dehydration is the term coined by the cosmetic industry to describe the tight, creapy appearance that’s down to a lack of water in the skin. Its a lot more complex than this, however, upping your fluid intake can help. Limit diuretics like caffeine and increase water and herbal teas. Tip: Buy a humidifier for your home or office to create a more hydrating atmosphere for your skin.
Skin Care
Problem: Spotty, oily skin.
Written By: Louise Thomas Minnis
Louise recommends: If your skin is parched it will try and help out by secreting more oil onto the skin. This can lead to an oily shine and blocked follicles resulting in outbreaks. Gentle exfoliation will sweep the pores clean and limit spotty eruptions.
Louise’s passion and empathy for skin health stems from her diverse 20 year career in the beauty industry and from her own Acne battles. Two facts that surprise many on looking at her young skin. Fondly given the title of ‘The Skin Guru’ by many of her clients, she is responsible for developing her own signature facial ‘U and Your Skin’. Developed after a decade of research her facial philosophy combines a three dimensional approach to nurture and maintain skin health.
Tip: Using a product containing AHA’s will be a more effective and can also rebalance the oil secreting glands. Remember it’s still important to protect your skin with an SPF everyday despite the lack of sun, since UV rays are present all year round. A change of season is the perfect excuse for booking a professional facial. I offer skin health checks as part of my treatments to reassess your skin and ensure you get that healthy, rosy winter glow.

Expert Advice
s e id r b n te in e n o u o y Are using fresh British blooms for your wedding? The big day is drawing near and plans and ideas for your wedding are taking up every waking thought of your day. Locating the venue, choosing the dress, bridesmaid’s dresses, the suit, the best man, who to invite, seating plans and so the list goes on.........and amongst that long list there are the flowers the one item that will finish off the dress, enhance the church and complete the venue. So as a bride you will want the flowers to be as fresh as possible as they must complete the final picture so do you ask your florist for a stunning arrangement of freshly picked seasonal British flowers which sets the scene of the beautiful English countryside or do you ask for flowers that are not in season and by doing so have them imported for your special day. Regardless of the fact that the imported flowers will have been pumped with chemicals and pesticides so as to enable the flowers to get picked earlier, ensuring that they are able to withstand the long journey from wherever it may be Columbia, Ecuador or Kenya to arrive in a good enough condition so as to enable them to get through your big day... The UK currently spends around £2.2bn every year on the cut flower industry and only 10% of these flowers are grown in the UK compared to 20 years ago. The wedding industry is big business for cut flowers but unfortunately UK growers over the years have succumbed to imported flowers because consumers want cheaper products regardless of whether chemicals, pesticides and air miles are involved and we need to see a change in this. We need to re-educate ourselves about using locally grown seasonal British flowers and begin to support what can be grown in the UK. There is a wonderful variety of Seasonal British flowers grown in the UK which are by far fresher than anything you can import. It is not only the freshness of the flower that is important, but by sourcing British grown flowers you are also helping with the biodiversity of nature by creating a food and habitat source for birds, bees, butterflies and bugs. We all tend to follow the trend that is set for wedding bouquets and potentially believe that British flowers are not year round and will not survive for more than a day or so. This is not the case you may not be able to get a rose in February or April but you will get the sweet scent of narcissi and a wonderful array of foliage and berries, tulips, apple blossom and the delicious scent of lilac plus many more. There is a good British flower network growing around the country and the general consensus is that if we all come together and support seasonal British flowers then the British flower industry can continue to grow and seasonal British flowers can once again grace our churches, barns, hotels, marquees and homes.

The Nineteen Forties This 40’s style is great for any body shape, and also for brides wanting a more classic, traditional look. Generally, 1940s wedding gowns tended to be quite demure, often high-necked and long-sleeved, and fitted at the waist or with fitted bodices and long skirts. During the Second World War, some women wore suits instead of wedding gowns, and carried corsages instead of bouquets. Due to rationing fabric wasn’t widely available and to some it was seen as unpatriotic to have a lavish wedding. In fact, silver screen legend Ava Gardner wore a suit with a corsage when she married Mickey Rooney in 1942 (and then again when she married bandleader Artie Shaw in 1945!) Despite widespread wartime shortages, many women still managed to have a white wedding. However, their dresses were often hand-me-downs, altered for each new bride. A wedding dress might appear over and over again as it was shared between sisters and friends.

The Nineteen Fifties This style of dress is especially great for brides with curvy figures (and who like a full skirt for twirling!) Following the introduction of Christian Dior’s fabric-heavy “New Look” in 1947, the wedding gowns of the 1950s were all about nipped-in waists and full skirts. Although floor-length dresses weren’t uncommon, a lot of 1950s wedding gowns were calf-length, and often sleeveless. When Hollywood goddess Rita Hayworth married Prince Aly Khan in 1949, her pale blue crepe dress was heavily influenced by the “New Look”. Audrey Hepburn’s 1954 wedding to Mel Ferrer saw her don a wedding dress very similar in shape to the one she later wore in 1957 movie Funny Face, a classic, calflength, full-skirted number. The wedding dresses of Jayne Mansfield and Grace Kelly both featured high, lace necks, although the emphasised waists still reflected the influence of the “New Look”.

The Nineteen Sixties A wedding dress like this 60s number really suits athletic or slim figures, or brides wanting a simple, unfussy look. Wedding gowns of the 1960s were often short and highnecked, and did not feature the waist-definition fashionable during previous decades. Veils were often replaced by hoods, scarves or bonnets. Raquel Welch, Yoko Ono and Mia Farrow all married in fashionable mini-dresses. However, as the 1970s approached, brides were influenced by both the Victorian and Edwardian eras, and dresses began to feature ruffles, wide sleeves and lace. Wedding gowns became softer and more fluid.

Vintage Deli The Story So Far – Katy Coe – Vintage Deli Four Years on and Vintage Deli Clothing are going from strength to strength here in Norfolk. The Vintage Deli Dream began here say’s Katy “For me, it started when hiding in my mum’s closet - top-to-toe in her summer dresses, ill-fitting shoes with a half eaten lipstick round my mouth. This habit played out until I found myself in my early teens, whereby, I began to think in ‘outfits’ as opposed to clothes. So much so that even now I find myself changing all day long. My wardrobe will evolve through the day - just as surely as time passes. I use clothes to match my mood and dictate it on occasion. Additions to the passage of the day: A ball gown to a barbeque, a flowing night gown perfect for summer lunches..... Living in the country where Wellies are the only way wasn’t my game. Any excuse go glam. It’s true that some simple, staple pieces will last you a lifetime - despite flights of fancy in between. There’s always one item that brings you to life and mixed with a truly sunshiny interior - it can make you flourish like a bird of paradise. And with that in mind, I set up Vintage Deli in the hope that you too might find something truly priceless”
Since then Katy from Vintage Deli has been featured in many of the glossy magazines and National Papers including a double page spread in The Sunday Times Style Magazine, Una Healey from the Saturdays wore a Vintage Deli dress in Heat Magazine, Vogue to name a few. Katy has also styled hundreds of photo shoots and provided the beautiful Vintage Dresses to suit. Vintage Deli also provide wardrobe for Film including a short Stella Artois Film for the Cannes Film Festival & a more local film set in the 40s – Waiting for Rose. Vintage Deli are also suppliers to the Designers from Topshop who come and gather their inspirations for next season trends right here in Norfolk. The essence of Vintage Deli remains the same – offering Beautiful Vintage Clothing from all decades starting with some stunning rare Vintage Dresses from the 20s right up to the fun and electric pieces from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Including over 50 Vintage Wedding Dresses. Whatever style, decade, size or price you might be after, they will be sure to have it.
Katy is also about to launch a beautiful Wedding Venue in the heart of West Norfolk. The 50+ Vintage Wedding Dresses will definitely come in handy and Katy can also offer a variety of Wedding Services to match. Catering, Vintage Car Hire, Bar Hire, Marquee, Fireworks, Bands, Photographer, Videographer & Styling too. This Stunning Wedding Venue is set in what’s known as Happy Valley. Can Your Wedding Date impact your wedded future? For some newlyweds it is important to coordinate everything to the last detail - even their wedding date. There were many couples who were looking to get hitched on 12/12/ 2012 and 11/11/2011, however due to sheer volume of applications country’s registry offices and registrars were not able to accommodate everyone. Is it worth paying attention to the wedding date? Numerologists believe that wedding date is very important to the couple and their future life together. Good wedding date is not necessarily the one that looks best on the wedding invitations, but one that has a meaning behind it. Here is an example on how to calculate your wedding day number – let’s say that the wedding date is 12/05/2014. Add all numbers together 1+2+5+2+1+4 = 15 and make sure that if you end up with single digit in the end – so 1+5= 6 your wedding day number is 6.
Lets find out. .!

Great Yarmouth
Great Yarmouth Wedding Fair Norfolk Brides to host its first Great Yarmouth wedding fair in refurbished historic Town Hall WEDDING dresses, cakes and musicians will be on show as Great Yarmouth’s most prestigious venue for marriages throws open its doors to scores of potential husbands- and wives-to-be. Great Yarmouth Borough Council has been successfully hiring out its historic Town Hall, in Hall Plain, as the ideal location for tying the knot, ever since it was granted a marriage licence last year. Now the council has teamed up with Norfolk Brides, the Norwich-based online wedding directory and promoter of local wedding suppliers, to hold a Great Yarmouth wedding fair at the venue. The event itself, which is free to enter with free parking, will take place on Sunday, January 26, 2014, from 10am to 3pm. And from Monday, September 2, businesses will be able to sign up for trade stalls to display their goods and services on the day. Couples will be able to peruse stalls and displays by Norfolk-based suppliers, and national suppliers serving the county, including suppliers of wedding clothes, transport, flowers and invitations. There will also be firms offering hen and stag party planning services, as well as wedding photographers, wedding cake-makers, and live performances from wedding musicians. Crucially, couples will have a unique opportunity to view the rooms within the recently-refurbished hall, built between 1878 and 1882, which are available for wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions or wedding breakfasts. For larger weddings, the grand Assembly Room can accommodate up to 200 wedding guests, while those wanting a more intimate ceremony and reception have the beautiful Supper Room, Rambouillet Room or Atrium to choose from. For something completely different, there is the historic Council Chamber.
Cllr Colleen Walker, cabinet member for statutory and internal services, which includes events, said: “This is a great opportunity for businesses to showcase their goods and services in the splendid surroundings of the recently-refurbished Town Hall, and for couples to see Great Yarmouth’s most prestigious wedding venue up close from inside.” Dalia Courridge, of Norfolk Brides, said: “The aim of this event is to provide couples with the choice of the best Norfolk wedding businesses – and with 50 trade stands expected, this wedding fair will be the largest on the Norfolk coast. “We looked at several different venues to host the fair, but none were suitable until we toured the Town Hall and realised it was an amazing venue, which needs to be showcased to couples.” The first 250 brides to register on the day will receive a goody bag from Palmers Department store, in Great Yarmouth, and all couples will be entered in a competition to win a free wedding room hire at the Town Hall, worth £1,000. For more information about Norfolk Brides Wedding Fairs or for information about exhibiting at the Town Hall, email Dalia at info@norfolkbrides.co.uk or visit www.norfolkweddingevents.co.uk

Design your own...
Design your own ! s g in R g in d d e W Wedding rings are often one of the last things brides and grooms organise, yet ‘putting a little extra thought into your purchase can go a long way’ says Jon Maddocks of Aurum Jewellers in Norwich. After all your wedding bands are one of the few things that will be a constant reminder and symbol of your marriage long after the big day is over. Most good independent jewellers will have good selection of ladies and gents ‘classic bands’, available in a choice of precious metals, which are usually made to order to ensure a correct fit. But, if you’ve always fancied adding a more personal touch Jon shares his top tips on designing or personalising your bands:
Raid Your Jewellery Box Do you have an old family heirloom that’s not to your taste or some precious jewellery sitting in a box gathering dust? If so dig it out! Whether you decide to have something of sentimental value melted and remodelled or simply use the old metal to offset against the price of your new rings this is a fantastic way to make a significant saving on the cost of your bands.
Have a Budget in Mind It’s always best to have an approximate idea of your budget before you embark on the project. That way the jeweller will be able to advise on the best metals to suit your budget. Palladium is a great choice for those on a tight budget, but if money is no object you may choose to go for platinum – the rarest and most precious of metals.
Gather Some Ideas Whether it be a picture, a sketch or an idea in your head – if you go to a jeweller with an idea of what you like it’s a great starting point to build from. The jeweller will help you to come up with the final design, which you’ll see a copy of before it is made.
Don’t be afraid to mix metals or finishes If you’re someone who likes to stand out from the crowd, then don’t be afraid to play with metals and finishes. Rose or yellow gold can be mixed with white metals to stunning effect and if polished jewellery is not your thing then why not choose a brushed or engraved finish.
Consider getting your bands engraved with a message It costs very little but, getting your bands engraved with your wedding date or a special message at the time they are made makes a wonderful personal touch.
Allow plenty of time Classic bands can often be made very quickly, but if you do decide to go for a bespoke design ideally start the process at least 2 – 3 months before your wedding to allow for the design and making of the rings.
Enjoy the experience Choosing or designing your wedding bands should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. A good independent jeweller will give expert advice and talk you through the process at your own pace. Designing your own rings isn’t for everyone, but if you do decide to take the plunge the results are worth it and it’s a great opportunity to let those creative juices flow!

Strange Fact Wedding cakes were thrown at the bride!
originally
This odd ritual dates back to medieval times and was done to symbolize the bride’s fertility. Stranger still, all the baked goods at the wedding reception were traditionally thrown together in a pile and the newlyweds had to attempt to kiss over the food heap. Managing to pull this stunt off meant that they had guaranteed themselves a lifetime of good fortune together. In the 1600s, a visiting French chef was horrified by the undignified piling custom and proposed a steadier alternative technique in which the cake itself was stacked, using sawed-off broom handles. However, this more modern practice did not catch on for another 200 years!

Cork Garland

How to make: Upcycled Cork Garland

Materials:
Tools:
Metal Coat hanger or fairly thick wire A large ribbon (colour of your choice) 36 - 40 corks should do it. Glue gun or super glue
Drill and a 4 or 4.5 sized drill bit or a screwdriver & screw
Unwind your coat hanger, so you have one length of wire and bend into the shape of a heart. It doesn’t have to be a perfect heart shape, as the corks will shape this once you start threading them onto the wire.
1 2
Tie the ribbon at the top of the heart shaped wire, before any corks are added.
3
Drill holes into the middle of the corks. Alternatively, use a screw and screwdriver – be warned this will take longer but does work!
4 5
Begin threading the corks through the wire and push them along to reach the ribbon.
6
Create a hole through the last cork. Fill the hole with glue (glue gun or super glue is best) and place both ends of the exposed wire into each hole. Hold the wire in place for a few seconds until it feels secure.
7
Once the glue is set, feel free to adjust the shape of the heart.
When all of the corks are on the wire, allow a small piece of the wire to be exposed at one end. This wire will be going into the last cork on the opposite end.

How to make:
A Crepe Paper Rose
Now make your bud using the five small petals. Start by wrapping one petal tightly around the stem. Continue wrapping each petal around, rotating the stem each time, until you’ve used all five. Secure the petals to the stem using floral tape, wrapping it down the stem.
4
5
Now begin adding the 15 heart petals. I taped two petals at a time until I got to the last few, then I added one at a time. Each time you add a petal you should be rotating the rose slightly so the petals are spread around the rose evenly. You can step back and look at your Rose at this point and ensure the petals are evenly distributed.
6
Once all the petals are secured with floral tape you can add the calyx to the bottom. To do this turn your rose upside down. Wrap the calyx around the stem and and secure with tape.
7
To do the leaves place some glue down the centre of each leaf and lay a piece of stem in it. Fold your leaf over the stem, pinch then press along the stem to secure the sides together.
8
Place your leaves around the stem then tape into place, wrapping around where you would like your leaves to “bend.” You can place your leaves wherever you like on the stem. I chose to use only two in the end!
9
There you have it a crepe paper rose which is so easy to create, it just takes a little love and care. The result is so pretty and you can make them even bigger too! These would look perfect in an eco-friendly Bridal Bouquet or for centrepieces on tables.
You will need:
Doublette Crepe Paper - I purchased mine online from Homecrafts Rose Template from Martha Stewart website, download here (Download them here on Martha Stewart and enlarge to your desired size. They recommend enlarging to 200%. The flower you will see is 100% Paper-wrapped Stem Wires or Florist wire wrapped in floral tape Floral Tape Craft Glue Round Pencil/Pen
1
Cutting several layers at a time saves time. I layered the crepe over and over again then stapled the template to the paper. I then cut through all the layers, following the outlines of the template carefully. Once you have everything cut out you can begin.
2
First make your stem. To do this, wrap three stem wires together or Florist wire with floral tape. I used Florist wire as this was to hand.
3
Then you need to carefully shape all of your petals. Shape the small petals by firmly pulling the crepe outwards and upwards starting in the middle of the petal. This will form a rounded fullness in the center of the petal. Don’t be afraid to stretch the crepe be firm but careful! Then you will need to curl the top edges of your petals with your round pen/pencil. Wrap the top of each petal around pen whilst stretching the crepe as you go. To hold the shape you are best to do this twice on each petal.

How to make:
Mini Ombre Pom Pom Garland
You will need:
Tissue Paper (White & 3 Shades of coloured) Scissors Strong thread
1 2
Place 6 sheets of paper on top of one another and cut into 4x4in squares
3
With your string, tie your strip around the middles, not to tightly though, you are just wanting to keep them together
4 5 6
Cut a curve at each end of the strip to create a ‘petal’ shape
7
Repeat steps 1 – 6 until you have several pom poms in all your colours (at least 2 of each)
8
Tie each one together with your thread, try to space them equally apart and there you have your garland.
Fold the paper together in a concertina style, fold the paper back and forth until you have just 1 strip
Fan out each end as far as they will go Carefully start to separate each layer. Its best to do 3 on the 1st half and then turn it over and do the next 3. You need to separate each layer and ‘puff it up’
Top Tip!
Make around 10 garlands to create a fab photoback drop or use each garland as a co
ool alternative to bunting!
