Message from the Host Club By Rally Chair, Carolyn Coddington and Richmond 4-H President, Chelsea Morin

On behalf of the entire Richmond 4-H club, we would like to thank everyone who made this year’s Rally a huge success. We would like to thank all of the participants, parents, chaperones, volunteers, staff, sponsors, and everyone in between who helped make this year’s Rally amazing. With participants from across the province, and even 10 members from Saskatchewan in Richmond on an exchange, this year’s Rally was one of the most memorable yet for all who attended. From the farmer’s Olympics, to the fitting competition, to show day, and the banquet, all the members enjoyed themselves. We hope to see everyone next year in Shawville.

The Spirit Award This award is presented each year to a 4-H member who best exemplifies the 4-H motto ‘Learn to Do by Doing’ while demonstrating their leadership skills. This award is to encourage participation in all of the Rally’s activities with enthusiasm. This year’s award was presented to Richmond 4-H member Kira Nelson. Kira’s efforts stood out to chaperones for showing good leadership skills when helping younger club members as well as ensuring club members were ready and prepared before their class on Show day. Kira assisted as marshal on show day and made suggestions that helped resolve challenges with the schedule. Her help and initiative were greatly appreciated. Congratulations Kira! Presenting the Spirit Award this year is Lorelei Muller, the Executive Director of Quebec 4-H
