WINTER WONDERLAND PACKAGE: Kirkenes Highlights (KP01) DAY 1: Individual arrival. Check in at hotel in Kirkenes.

OPTION 12.00—14.00 Kirkenes sightseeing and Russian border by buss.

600 NOK pp (not included) Pick up at hotel 18.00 18.00 – 22.00 ACTIVITY: NORTHERN LIGHTS-KING CRABSNOWMOBILE incl dinner First we drive by buss to our catching places near Kirkenes and pull up King Crabs from the pots. Then transfer to our camp in Sandnes where the cultural and historical guided Snowmobile tour starts. The tour continues towards the Siberian taiga forest in Pasvik while the crabs are being cooked. We drive on the fjord ice and visit an old Norwegian farm dating from 1854 (if driving conditions are ok) During the trip we will have several stops to be able to watch the polar sky for northern lights. After the snowmobile ride we sit by campfire in our lavvo and eat fresh king crabs and drink a glass of white wine, coffee and tea. After the trip transportation back to Kirkenes.

Enjoy the silence of the landscape while going with your own dog team, or are seated comfortably in the sledge as a passenger. Feel the interaction between you and the dogs while being guided safely trough the winter borderland. The trip ends with a lunch based on local ingredients. After the trip transportation back to Kirkenes.

WINTER WONDERLAND PACKAGE: Borderland Kirkenes (KP02) DAY 1 Individual arrival. Check in at hotel in Kirkenes (clients can store the luggage here) 13.00 Pick up at hotel 13.00 – 16.00 King Crab Safari by snowmobile (2 persons per snow mobile) First we drive by buss to our catching places near Kirkenes and pull up King Crabs from the pots. Then transfer to our camp in Sandnes where the cultural and historical guided Snowmobile tour starts. While driving by snowmobile towards the Siberian taiga forest in Pasvik the crabs are cooking. Cultural historical guided tour. After the trip we visit our lavvu and eat fresh king crab and drink white wine. Trip length: about 16 km. Transfer back to hotel in Kirkenes 17.00 Pick up at hotel in Kirkenes 17.00 – 22.00 Hunting for the Northern lights on dog sledges incl dinner (KI14) Guided tour through Pasvikdalen valley. Help us prepare the dog sledges before setting out into the "polar night". In good conditions, you will see the northern lights dance across the skies as we travel along the border between Norway and Russia – an exotic adventure in an Arctic climate. We end the trip with a delicious meal served in a Sami lavvu.

WINTER WONDERLAND PACKAGE: For dog- and nature lovers (KP03) DAY 1 Individual arrival.

12.00 Pick up at hotel EXCLUSIVE DOG SLEDDING TRIP IN THE BORDERLAND WITH OVERNIGHT STAY IN A CABIN Join us and our dogs in the borderland. We show you how to drive a dog sled, and with one husky team each we drive along the Norwegian – Russian border and into a cosy cabin in the forest. On arrival, we make a fire and have lunch around the fireplace.

We spend the night in the cabin ”Myrbekk-Koia”, where we have dinner in the evening, and for those who want to it’s possible to have a sauna. Myrbekkoia is one of the cosiest cabins in Pasvikdalen valley.

Accommodation: Myrbekk-koia, no running water or electricity, perfect nature experience and perfect spot to observe Northern lights DAY 2 Breakfast will be served (to both dogs and people) before we return by dog sledges to the valley’s biggest husky kennel. 600 NOK pp (not included) Pick up at hotel 17.30 17.30 – 22.30 ACTIVITY: HUNTING FOR THE NORTHERN LIGHTS WITH HUSKIES incl dinner Transfer to Sollia Gjestegård. You will be served a three-course dinner. After this tasty experience, we set off with our dog teams. You will be guided silently through the forest, over frozen lakes and up on the mountain.

You will have a view of the borderland towards Russia and towards the Jarfjord, which runs into the Barents Sea. The guide will explain about the Northern Lights, while we wait in suspense.
