This club is for children going into kindergarten through soon-to-be fifth graders!
There’s a reading club for all ages and reading abilities!
There will be great fun activities and programs for summer readers of all ages. ..and all you need is your very own LIBRARY CARD!!

So, how
soon can I join?
Registration begins June 15, but you can sign up anytime between June 15 and July 31.
H oW do I join?
If you are one of the first 500 kids going into grades 1-5 to register and come into the library, you will earn a special, limited edition drawstring sportpack!
It’s simple – go online at www.northlandlibrary.org either at home or here at the library and fill in the registration form. Once you have done that, come to the children’s area and we’ll get you started in the fun.
Do I n eed to come on a
certain day? Nope! Come whenever it fits your schedule. As long as we are here the fun goes on!!
Do I h ave to r eport on the
books I read? No, this is a fun club. But if you want to write a review of any of the books that you have read– you can do that at the same place you registered for Summer Reading Club.

Do I have to read books on a

No, this is a fun club! Although, if you have to read certain books for school over the summer, we’ll help you find them!
Is there
a nything e lse going on besides reading?
You bet! We’ve got lots of fun programs and activities planned for the summer. Check online for the most current information. Plus, we have lots of contests going on throughout the summer! You must be a member of the Summer Reading Club to enter the contests and attend the programs.
I registered to attend a special program, but how do you know? Once we verify that you are signed up for the summer reading club, and are the right age for the program, we will give you a wristband. Only people with wristbands will be admitted to certain programs.

And remember we have lots of other things to borrow here at the library– like DVDs, Wii, xBox,and ps4 games, magazines, and for those long car rides– Audio Books!

Each time you visit, you’ll get a token for the prize machine. You could get a prize right away, or you might get a slip telling you to go to the reference desk for the weekly prize, or you might get a slip telling you to go to the reference desk for a special prize!
