Our beautiful city is packed with activities for kids of all ages, whether your family loves outdoor exploration or indoor adventures.

Think Naples is only for grown-ups? Think again! Our beautiful city is packed with activities for kids of all ages, whether your family loves outdoor exploration or indoor adventures. To help you plan, we’ve created a three-day family-friendly itinerary packed with fun. Follow these ideas or use them as a starting point for crafting your own unforgettable Naples adventure!

Day One: Make a Splash

A great place to start any Naples vacation is a trip to one of its main selling points: the iconic beaches.

Whether you just want to relax and play on its countless miles of white-sand beaches or partake in some watersports action, there are endless options.

In particular, the beaches of Naples are well known for their shell-collecting possibilities. Head to Barefoot Beach, Clam Pass Park, or nearby Keewaydin Island at low tide to find everything from scallops and coquinas to lion’s paws and conchs. Lucky beachcombers may also find dried starfish and sand dollars.

If your family still needs some more excitement after your beach adventure, you can always head back to the Naples Grande Beach Resort pool. The Mangrove

J. Kevin Foltz

Pool features a waterslide that’s sure to keep them entertained. Then you can cap off the day with a family-friendly meal at the resort or at one of the many fine eateries in downtown Naples.

Day Two: Exciting Encounters

Plan a visit to the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens. Nestled in a vibrant tropical setting, this zoo offers many fascinating animals, including Florida panthers, lions, cheetahs, zebras, capybaras, and the rare Bornean orangutans. For a unique experience, check out the Primate Expedition Cruise.

Beyond the wildlife, the zoo is dedicated to preserving its lush environment; many trees and plants were planted long before the animals arrived, creating a rich, immersive experience. The Naples Zoo is a perfect blend of conservation and education, offering visitors a deeper connection to nature while exploring its unique mix of flora and fauna. The zoo also features a new entrance and visitors’ complex.

If you still have energy left after the zoo, take a trip to the new Alamo Drafthouse Cinema (formerly Silverspot) to catch a movie. It features a kids’ menu and the HappyLand Movie Miniature Golf course for more adventure before or after your show.

Day Three: Education and Entertainment

We all want our kids to learn something on vacation, so how about an educational opportunity followed by a little bit of fun? You can start your day at the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON). This museum invites children of all ages to dive into hands-on activities that spark curiosity and creativity. With agespecific exhibits, every child can find something engaging and fun to explore. CMON’s mission is to create an inspiring

environment where families can learn, play, and dream together, making it the perfect spot for quality time and discovery.

CMON is also a great option if you happen to have a rainy day, as is the Naple Depot Museum. Housed in the beautifully restored Seaboard Air Line Railway passenger station, the Naples Depot Museum offers a fascinating trip back to the 1920s railroad boom that helped shape Naples. Explore unique exhibits like Seminole dugout canoes, an antique mule wagon, a vintage swamp buggy, and meticulously restored rail cars. Interactive displays bring history to life, making it a fun and educational experience for visitors of all ages. It’s the perfect spot to learn about Southwest Florida’s rich past and the impact of the railroads on this vibrant region.

After a morning of interactive learning, head over to Sun n’ Fun Lagoon for an

afternoon of excitement. With thrilling waterslides, a relaxing lazy river, and various pools and splash zones, this water park offers something for everyone. Before you go, check their seasonal hours, as the park is closed part of the year.

If you’d prefer a dry afternoon activity to a water park, there are also plentiful miniature golf opportunities around Naples. You can check out HappyLand Movie Miniature Golf at the new Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, Volcano Mountain Adventure Golf, or Coral Cay Adventure Golf after a day at the museum.

Make It Your Own!

Of course, these are just a few of the many ways that families can enjoy their vacation in Naples. Choose among these ideas as you create your own itinerary.

MAKE

A SPLASH

Dive into Naples’ aquatic playground with thrilling watersports and activities, from kayaking through mangroves to paddleboarding, jet skiing, and fishing along the Gulf Coast.

J. Kevin Foltz
If you’re passionate about kayaking, then it doesn’t get any more convenient than at the Naples Grande Beach Resort.

For close to a century and a half, the pristine coastline of what is now modern-day Naples has drawn visitors from afar to bathe in the shallow, crystalline waters and relish in balmy wintertime temperatures while the northern half of the continent is battling snow and ice. The earliest modernday visitors arrived in the late 1800s, a Kentucky senator and business partner who built the area’s first 16-room hotel in 1889. Before roads were developed and the railroad came through in 1927, the first tourists came by private yacht. Eventually, the adventurous middle class traveled for weeks down bumpy roads in their Model T automobiles armed with tents and tinned cans of food for the journey, which earned them the nickname Tin Can Tourists.

Whether you’ve come to Southwest Florida in search of an adrenaline rush aboard a WaveRunner, to parasail high above the Gulf of Mexico, cruise the shoreline aboard a

catamaran, or splash along the surface on a banana boat, you’ll find your perfect aquatic adventure here.

Waves of Fun

One of the most heart-pounding forms of touring Naples is aboard a WaveRunner or Jet Ski. While several local companies rent personal watercraft by the hour, for a truly unique experience, the expert guides at Marco Island Water Sports will take you and your party on a 1.5-hour tropical tour of a mangrove nursery. Here, you’ll be mesmerized by the abundant waterfowl, tropical fish, manatees, and the occasional dolphin while learning all about this valuable and ecologically sensitive ecosystem. The company’s WaveRunners are some of the industry’s safest personal watercraft, allowing even novice riders

REEL IN THE FUN

From backwater adventures to deep-sea excursions, discover why Naples is a paradise for anglers, offering abundant waters and unforgettable catches.

If you dream of chasing the big one across the waves, Naples brings that vision to life. With the Gulf of Mexico and Ten Thousand Islands at your call, it’s a top angler destination. Fish for amberjack, cobia, grouper, kingfish, mahi-mahi, snapper, and even swordfish as you head farther offshore—or enjoy plentiful close-to-shore fishing spots for a more relaxed experience.

If you prefer angling close to shore, the coastline offers abundant spots and mangrove estuaries teeming with redfish, snook, spotted sea trout, tarpon, and flounder. Redfish, or red drum, weigh

4 to 10 pounds and put up a fight, while snook dart around docks and mangroves for thrilling runs. Spotted sea trout and tarpon provide adrenaline-pumping catches on grassy flats, and flounder lie close to the shallow seafloor.

While charter fishing companies here offer either half-day or full-day excursions, you’d do well to opt for the latter due to the huge number of snapper and grouper species found further off the coastline. While some snapper varieties can be caught about 9 miles offshore, the larger yellowtail and mangrove snapper lie in wait about 20 miles out. The largest variety, lane snapper, can be found among the

With the Gulf of Mexico and Ten Thousand Islands at your call, Naples is a top angler destination.

offshore reefs about twice that distance. Mutton and yellowtail snapper bite best from late spring until September, while lane snapper is available year-round. The seasons for the super popular red snapper are more limited. The five varieties of grouper — black, gag, goliath, red, and scamp — are also found offshore here, with some more prevalent in cooler temperatures than others. Gag grouper, for example, strikes best between October and December, with the season closed in January and February. Red grouper season, however, is open all year, with good biting through September. While smaller grouper can be found close to shore, you’ll have to head to deeper waters if you want that trophy fish to brag about.

To catch amberjack, cobia, and king mackerel, head offshore to deepwater spots like reefs, ledges, and shipwrecks. Amberjacks, or “reef donkeys,” often congregate deep below the surface, with cobia close behind. The best time for both is November through March. For king mackerel, or kingfish, venture at least 25 miles offshore, where they bite best from September to May and share waters with gag grouper.

While you’ll need your sea legs to go out on a full-day charter adventure, heading at least 40 to 100 miles offshore will give you the chance to fight with mahi-mahi, tuna, wahoo, and even billfish, the angling challenges that some only dream about. At those distances, you can try your hand at bottom fishing, deep dropping, and trolling, three distinct deep-sea fishing techniques guaranteed for you to come home with more than just a fish tale.

the chance to glide smoothly along the waterways in comfort.

Probably the world’s most whimsical form of water transportation, banana boat is sort of a cross between a gigantic air mattress and a white-water raft. Like the latter, you’re bound to get wet aboard this motorless watercraft that’s towed behind a WaveRunner. You and up to five other friends and family members will delight in this 15-minute wild ride. Marco Island Water Sports offers guests this unique experience from both Naples Beach and Marco Island.

Parasailing fuses the adrenaline of hang gliding and the gentle floating of skydiving in a oneof-a-kind experience high above the glittering Naples shoreline. You’ll have no problem spying on fish, dolphins, and maybe even a sea turtle while skimming above the translucent water far below. Guests can parasail solo, in pairs, or even a threesome, while observers can ride along in the tow vessel for a separate fee. Marco Island Water Sports even offers the

option to purchase a photography package with this excursion.

While the sport of paddle boarding has been all the rage for the last few years, the history behind it is probably much older than you realize. Ancient Peruvians used a paddle to propel a canoe-like craft made of reeds called a caballito de tortora while standing up, and Hawaiian islanders brought the sport into modern times in the 1940s with a thicker and more stable board they used to teach novice surfers. You’ll never find a more beautiful spot to enjoy this canoe/surf combination than the gorgeous beaches and bays of Naples, and no more convenient place to rent a stand-up paddle board than at the Naples Grande Beach Resort.

Two of the ultimate high-octane watersports, kiteboarding and wing foiling — the latter is actually an offshoot of stand-up paddle boarding — require training on harnessing the wind for propulsion. While both utilize

a hydrofoil board, kiteboarding requires considerably more stamina and offers a faster ride, depending on the wind. Wing foiling utilizes a handheld wing and is much easier for novices to learn without a lot of training. Both Naples Paddleboard and Naples Kiteboarding offer lessons in both.

If you’re passionate about kayaking the shoreline of the Gulf of Mexico, then it doesn’t get any more convenient than at the Naples Grande Beach Resort, which offers rentals of both single and double kayaks, as well as standup paddle boards. For a genuinely distinct ecoadventure, you can also head to Wiggins Pass for a clear kayaking tour with Get Up and Go Kayaking. Regardless of whether you sign up for the Daytime Eco Tours or the evening Sunset & Glow Tour, you’ll delight in the glass-bottomboat view as you paddle your way through winding, lush mangrove trails and skirt the sparkling shoreline of Barefoot Beach.

Cruising the Waterways

Whether your preference is speedboating or a relaxing sail, joining other passengers on a guided tour, or forging your own watery trail, Naples has just what the vacation doctor ordered. Visitors who prefer going it alone can find a variety of boat rental agencies offering everything from power and sailing vessels to pontoon party boats.

Local operators also offer a variety of guided cruises, such as the Calusa Spirit. Departing from Marco Island, the 45-foot powered catamaran offers a relaxing and fun tour for all ages. Once you depart the dock, the vessel rounds the tip of Cape Romano Island and enters the Ten Thousand Islands at the edge of the Everglades. The Calusa Spirit’s onboard naturalist answers questions about the history, wildlife, and ecosystem of the area. The vessel stops at an uninhabited island, where passengers can debark and wander a secluded piece of tropical paradise before continuing with their voyage.

The Sweet Liberty sailing catamaran departs from the Naples City Dock in Crayton Grove. Guests can choose from either shelling, sunset, or sightseeing tours aboard this 53-foot vessel. Those opting for the Beach

Island Shelling Cruise will enjoy a three-hour morning adventure to Keewaydin Island, an eight-mile stretch of pristine seashore where beachcombers will be right up their seashell alley. Here, you may find — depending on the tides and time of year — fighting and horse conchs, lightning whelks, Florida worm shells, sand dollars, and sea urchins. The company’s newest addition, Sweet Tiki, offers a more intimate and relaxing experience aboard this sixperson party vessel.

The Naples Princess offers an unforgettable way to explore Naples’ picturesque waterways in style and comfort. This luxury yacht provides a variety of cruising experiences, from scenic daytime tours showcasing the beauty of Naples Bay to breathtaking sunset cruises on the Gulf of Mexico. Whether you’re marveling at waterfront mansions or enjoying cocktails with panoramic views, the Naples Princess combines relaxation and elegance.

Beneath the Waves

If you’re into scuba diving, Naples can fill that bill, too. There are several artificial reefs in the area,

including the remains of the Santa Lucia, a 47foot Cuban refugee craft that was sunk just west of Gordon Pass. A variety of local dive shops can rent you the gear you need and provide transportation to the site, as well as help you get certified prior to doing so.

If you prefer to stay near the surface, snorkeling at Clam Pass Beach offers an alternative for witnessing the marine wonderland without the need for diving certification.

Set the Hook

If your idea of rest and relaxation is fighting for the big one, welcome to vacationland. Here, you’ll find your fill of both inshore and deep-sea angling action, whether you’re after grouper, snapper, or mackerel — or just want to test your skills against a barracuda. While grouper is plentiful here in winter, you’ll also find kingfish, amberjack, and cobia in these southern Gulf waters. There is a plethora of fishing charter companies to choose from here, all staffed by experienced crews able to coach you into landing that trophy fish.

A SHORE THING

Whether you’re visiting Naples for the first time or returning, you’ll never tire of the bounty of shoreline that has long lured travelers from near and far.

Clam Pass Park: This paradisical beach destination encompassing 35 acres of coastal habitat lies right outside the Naples Grande Beach Resort. Visiting Clam Pass Park requires no more effort than hopping on one of the golf-cart trams or enjoying the leisurely stroll along the boardwalk that winds through an enchanting mangrove forest. You won’t go hungry or thirsty here either, thanks to Rhode’s End Beach Bar & Grill located right off the beach.

Naples Beach: This 10-mile stretch of coastline is in central Naples, anchored by the iconic and historic Naples Pier, which is currently undergoing restoration. You’ll find both

restrooms and outdoor shower facilities here, with metered parking available.

Vanderbilt Beach Park:

Located at the north end of Naples, Vanderbilt Beach is a wide stretch of sand where you can claim your own piece of the waterfront for a day. Beachcombing and bird-watching are excellent here, with a wide variety of watersports at your disposal. With diverse aquatic offerings, Marco Island Water Sports can help you create unforgettable moments on the water.

Barefoot Beach Preserve

County Park: One of the best features of this undeveloped barrier island is

its mile-long boardwalk passing through lush coastal habitats home to a variety of wildlife, gopher tortoises, and loggerhead sea turtles during nesting season. Located just north of Naples on Little Hickory Island, Barefoot Beach Preserve is a great escape from the ordinary while also providing the essential day-tripper essentials of restrooms, picnic areas, and equipment rentals.

Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park:

This gorgeous stretch of sand is considered one of the best beaches in the United States by Dr. Beach, aka Dr. Stephen Leatherman, earning the eighth spot on his 2024 ranking of the nation’s top 650 beaches. Situated in North Naples, Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is a 199-acre paradise, whose mile-long shoreline is a perfect spot for soaking up the rays after taking a dip in the emerald-green waters. This is also a great spot for fishing and kayaking, and restrooms are available.

Lowdermilk Park:

There’s probably no more family-friendly beach than Lowdermilk Park in all of Collier County. Besides offering restrooms, a snack bar, and picnic areas, Lowdermilk Park boasts two playgrounds, sand volleyball courts, and even a duck pond to delight the youngest visitors. Gazebos are available for rent, and this park is ADA-compliant.

Keewaydin Island:

This barrier island located between Naples and Marco Island offers a truly exotic beach escape. Here you’ll find eight miles of pristine beaches but no island facilities, so you’ll have to pack in and pack out what you’ll need for your visit. Mostly undeveloped, Keewaydin Island is accessible by private boat or via the Sweet Liberty sailing catamaran, which offers beach trips.

Tigertail Beach:

Considered one of the finest beaches on Marco Island, Tigertail requires a little effort to reach from the parking area, as you must wind your way around a cove or take a shortcut by wading the shallow waterway to get to the shore. This is a great beach for shelling and for bird-watching.

Visitors can join one of three distinct two-hour guided hikes led by Audubon naturalists.

While you’re welcome to explore the two-mile loop trail on your own, the sanctuary also offers three unique guided walks. The Early Birding Tour, Sunset Stroll, and Night Tour each provide a distinct perspective on the native flora and fauna, making every visit truly memorable.

This region is home to a wealth of boardwalks, pathways, and even canoe routes, all waiting to be discovered.

Barefoot Beach Preserve

Just 20 minutes north of Naples Grande Beach Resort lies the 342-acre Barefoot Beach Preserve, one of the last undeveloped barrier islands on Florida’s Southwest coast. Here, you can uniquely combine a refreshing swim in the Gulf with a scenic hike along the preserve’s Saylor Trail. This shaded pathway offers a peaceful escape, lined with native plants such as sable palms, cocoplums, sea grapes, mangroves, gumbo limbo trees, and Jamaica dogwood. From January to April, visitors can also join guided walks led by knowledgeable volunteer naturalists, adding an educational layer to this serene retreat.

Big Cypress National Preserve

Spanning 729,000 acres, Big Cypress National Preserve owes its existence to a collaborative effort

in the 1960s by environmentalists, sportsmen, and Seminole and Miccosukee Native Americans. Together, they successfully halted plans for a massive airport in the western Everglades, leading to the preserve’s establishment on October 11, 1974, as the nation’s first national preserve. Visitors here enjoy experiences similar to the self-guided loop roads of the more famous Everglades National Park but with the added bonus of free admission. Among the dozen hiking trails, the Kirby Storter Roadside Park Boardwalk stands out as an easy, accessible option. This trail meanders through a serene cypress strand and ends at a picturesque gator hole.

diverse hiking and biking trails, as well as threehour guided canoe trips along the Blackwater River each morning. For hikers, the park features options ranging from the easy 0.9-mile Royal Palm Hammock Trail to moderate paths like the 3.5-mile Prairie Hammock and Flatwoods trails. For a more challenging adventure, the 7.3-mile Collier-Seminole Hiking Trail awaits, requiring visitors to check in at the ranger station for a gate code before venturing into the wild.

Fakahatchee Strand State Preserve

Southeast of Marco Island, Fakahatchee Strand State Preserve boasts the 2,000-foot-long Big Cypress Bend Boardwalk, which provides an intimate encounter with a freshwater swamp. Access to the preserve is through the six-milelong Janes Memorial Scenic Drive, located off State Road 29. Along the scenic drive, visitors can choose to hike or bike at the numbered gates; and an additional 4.5 miles of roadway — closed to vehicle traffic — extends to the park’s border with Picayune Strand State Forest. Many of the trails in the preserve follow old tram roads, remnants of the area’s logging operations prior to the 1960s.

Gordon River Greenway

The Gordon River Greenway Park, a lush 140-acre oasis in the heart of Naples, features 2.5 miles of paved and mulched trails, along with a series of boardwalks that traverse six distinct native plant habitats. The park welcomes skateboarders and rollerbladers on its paved pathways, while fishing enthusiasts can enjoy casting a line from the lookout piers. This serene escape offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and recreational opportunities for all ages.

Hiking at Naples City Parks

For those looking to stay close to town, Baker Park features a scenic boardwalk along the Gordon River, while the 9.5-acre Naples Preserve and Hedges Family Eco-Center offers a 0.4-mile boardwalk through pine flatwoods and oakrosemary scrub habitats. Another great option is the 7.92-acre Charlie C. Anthony Park, also located on the Gordon River. Named after a local U.S.

Army private who died in Vietnam in 1969, the park includes a lighted walking path and a fishing pier, making it a peaceful spot to enjoy nature.

Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve

Spanning 110,000 acres from downtown Naples through the Western Everglades, the Rookery Bay Reserve protects vital wildlife and habitat, covering 40 percent of Collier County’s coastline. THE BUZZ ON NAPLES’ COFFEE CULTURE

Local coffeehouses brew up a blend of innovation, community, and global inspiration.

If old-school coffee went by the name Joe, today’s latest wave of craft coffee should be called Cher, Elvis, or some other star-power name. Or perhaps Kunjani, like one of Naples’ next-level coffeehouses named Kunjani Craft Coffee & Gallery. The name comes from an African greeting, reflecting owner Stephanie Bunnett’s roots in Zimbabwe, which she fled with her mother at age 16.

In a homey, intimate North Naples setting, Bunnett, her husband, and staff serve single-source coffee small-batch roasted in-house with zero emissions. They have a mission to economically empower coffee growers and African

artisans through programs such as Tip the Farmer, where coffee farmers receive a percentage of proceeds. Bunnett’s shop also sells African art and gifts in her fair-trade gallery.

Two of the newest and sleekest coffeehouses in Naples have their own story to tell. Narrative Coffee Roasters at Mercato and in the Naples Design District redefine “coffeehouse” with ultracontemporary design elements, singleorigin coffee beans ethically sourced, and a palpable sense of community.

Downtown, coffee lovers can explore a mix of coffeehouse types among

longtime 5th Avenue Coffee Company and Tony’s on Third and trendier Mercato Italiano. All combine their coffee focus with foodie finds: 5th Avenue Coffee teams up with 6th Street Diner, which means you can order bakery delights, breakfast, or sandwiches with your Cuban coffee or Americano.

Tony’s has sustained a reputation for the finest pastries, cakes, and other delectables. However, it also happens to take its coffee seriously, with daily featured blends and flavored coffees, such as raspberry chocolate. At Mercato Italiano, the market-like space names its Italian-inspired brews macchiato and pistachio moca and sells all manner of gourmet delicacies.

At Naples Grande Beach Resort, the warming, comforting aroma of coffee wafts through the lobby and bardining space. Spressi Marketplace sells espresso, lattes, matcha, coffee drinks, and a regular “cup of Joe” at its takeaway, quick-bite shop. So, no matter what you call your coffee, you can call it delicious and readily available when exploring Naples’ ever-burgeoning java scene.

EMBRACE THE EXTRAORDINARY

Keewaydin’s on 5th redefines seafood dining in Naples.

As a native Puerto Rican, Chef Carlos grew up in a family that loved seafood and cooking together in the kitchen.

Keewaydin’s on 5th and Chef Carlos Rios Babilonia already had two things in common before he started as the new restaurant’s executive chef: seafood.

As a native Puerto Rican, Chef Carlos grew up in a family that loved seafood and cooking together in the kitchen. Another thing the restaurant and chef agreed upon: Food should be exciting — “simple and bold dishes that let the best and freshest ingredients shine,” the Puerto Rican-trained chef espouses. “Let’s ditch the ordinary and embrace the extraordinary in the kitchen!”

Babilonia applies his philosophy of cuisine to Keewaydin’s, the newest of the popular Phelan Family Brands seafood restaurants throughout Southwest Florida. Taking over the former space of Yabba Island Grill — a Caribbean-inspired restaurant along Naples’ dining mecca, Fifth Avenue South — Keewaydin also takes cues from the islands but adds exotic Asian influence to the melting pot.

For instance, Ahi Pot Stickers and Port Royal Crab Salad share space in the starters department of the new menu Keewaydin’s rolled out before the holidays. Seafood boils play with sushi. To balance creative (and, yes, extraordinary) entrees like Thai Mango Noodle with sliced tenderloin, RumGlazed Salmon, and Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass, the menu offers carnivorepleasing fine meats — from wagyu to a Berkshire pork tomahawk cut. And, of course, there’s the freshest stone crab possible during the mid-October to mid-May season. The region’s signature, exquisite seafood delicacy is requisite for a true Naples dine-out experience.

The chef reinvents the classic Cuban sandwich for lunch, and for dessert, there’s a tangy Key lime pie like no other. While imparting a sense of place for Naples’ glorious mash-up of tropical and global flavors, Keewaydin’s defines its own rules, style of cuisine, and formula for simplicity made bold.

Cheers to Mocktails

There’s a bevy of creative and healthy mocktails that rival their alcoholinfused counterparts.

Mocktails offer all the charm of a classic cocktail — eye-catching presentation and heavenly taste — without the alcohol. selling fresh produce from the company’s familyowned farm. You can grab and go or dine on-site for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Make a day or night of it here; they offer live music every night, with a full bar available.

A night at Celebration Park Naples is a global food fest by the water followed by live music under the stars. A rotating lineup of gourmet food trucks ranges from Mexican street food and Greek favorites to seafood, American comfort classics, and superfoods for the wellness minded. A full bar serving specialty cocktails and live music seven days a week, including a dance floor, adds to the relaxed atmosphere.

Dine by Sunset

cuisine. The dinner cruise features a luxurious double-entree buffet, perfect for dining against the stunning backdrop of a Naples sunset. Consider the sunset “More Than Hors d’Oeuvres” cruise, which offers a delightful evening of cocktails and appetizers, ideal for a twilight celebration as you sail through Naples Bay.

Savory Indulgences

All the flavors and styles of Naples — seafood, steak, upscale, waterfront, and casual — converge right here at the Naples Grande Beach Resort,

home of The Catch of the Pelican, its signature restaurant specializing in fresh from the Gulf local seafood, steaks, and sandwiches.

Dine on an outdoor patio that feels like coastal Greece at Rhode’s End, where the menu includes Greek burgers, Greek dogs, and Greek salad, as well as a variety of traditional pub favorites and cool cocktails. Stay in theme with Apollo “God of Sun & Light,” a blend of tequila, amaretto, and other to-bediscovered flavors.

Relaxation is the goal here, and you’ll find plenty of it at the Sunset Veranda, serving wood-fired pizza and refreshing drinks alfresco, and the Gulf Coast Oasis, offering a poolside menu of Baja-inspired sandwiches, savory salads and tacos, and refreshing drinks.

Afterward, or anytime the need for something tasty strikes, head to Spressi Marketplace for grab-andgo coffee, pastries, gelato, and other treats. If you’re starting the day early, Aura Restaurant gets the day going with breakfast delights; while the Mantra Lounge in the hotel lobby serves dinner until 11 p.m., with the bar open until midnight on Friday and Saturday.

some hot choices for cool fun in Naples. REMEMBER

Here

are

If you thought Naples got cooler at night, you’d be right. Variety is the spice of nightlife here, from local watering holes and lively bars to latenight eateries, entertainment districts, comedy clubs, and theaters.

Lounging Around

Shaken or stirred, the martini is a timeless classic; and they come in nearly every incarnation — including pomegranate, green apple and strawberry basil — at Blue Martini, where handcrafted cocktails and yummy “finger food” like truffle tenderloin sliders and beer cheese dip served with pretzel sticks are served with a side of live music and themed nights.

/ Burn by Rocky Patel

Nearby is Burn by Rocky Patel, the first signature cigar and fine spirits lounge created by cigar maker Patel, whose sanctuary for cigar aficionados draws on an exotic mix of Mediterranean, Asian, and Cuban cultures. Top DJs and musicians frequent this late-night spot, adding to the hip atmosphere.

Entertainment Districts

Blue Martini and Burn by Rocky Patel are just two of the many hot spots in the Mercato entertainment district, where open-air strolling under the night sky will bring you to pubs, clubs, tequila bars, and late-night dining spots.

Restaurants and cafés light up the night at Third Street South, the charming heart of Old Naples, with plazas and courtyards meant for strolling

and restaurants, cafés, pubs, and art galleries to explore.

One of the city’s most popular nighttime hubs is Fifth Avenue South — the main street through downtown Naples and the main event for many locals and visitors, with pedestrianfriendly walkways and outdoor seating at most of the street’s 30 restaurants and bars. Before or after dining, this is the place to be for the performing arts in Naples, as Fifth Avenue and the surrounding streets are home to the Gulfshore Playhouse, staging Broadway-caliber productions in the new, state-of-the-art Baker Theatre and Education Center.

Also based here are The Naples Players, celebrating their 70th year in 2023, whose theater just completed a multi-million-dollar renovation, with more improvements on

the way. This acclaimed company stages musical theater performances for all ages throughout the year, including kids and teen productions. The ensemble is also a local leader in relaxed or sensory-friendly performances for audience members with autism and other neurodivergent conditions.

In addition, crowds gather on Fifth Avenue South every month for live music during Evening on Fifth, showcasing an array of live musical performances up and down the sidewalks of Fifth Avenue South, plus dining, shopping, and more.

The Joke’s On You

The laughter is off the charts at Off the Hook, the first venue in Southwest Florida to incorporate a full-service restaurant into a comedy club.

Hosting 10 to 15 shows every week, the comedy club has staged over a thousand comedians and was the first comedy club to book Tom Green and feature Jackass star Steve-O. Other comedy greats to perform here include Darrell Hammond, Pauly Shore, Kevin Hart, Chris Kattan, Gabriel Iglesias, Eddie Griffin, Ron White, Kevin Nealon, Shawn Wayans, Louie Anderson, Tom Arnold, Jackie Mason, Jim Breuer, and Tommy Chong.

Old Florida Charm

Since the 1920s, Fifth Avenue South has been Naples’ unofficial “Main Street.” This dynamic, pedestrianfriendly promenade is not only one of the city’s top dining and entertainment hubs but one of its premier shopping addresses, with upscale fashion and jewelry, one-of-a-kind gifts, and a range of art galleries showcasing works by local and international artists.

Stretching from Tamiami Trail to the Gulf of Mexico, Fifth Avenue South maintains its Old Florida ambience with a palette of historic architecture and lush greenery. The variety of retail choices spans every taste and style. Stop in at Carolyn’s On Fifth to find a huge collection of designer fashions — from Chanel and Dior to Gucci, Hermès, and Prada — all at unbelievable consignment prices.

Earlier this year, Fifth Avenue welcomed the inaugural retail location of the barefoot shoe brand Leguano, renowned globally for its cutting-edge barefoot shoes that seamlessly combine comfort, functionality, and fashion.

Set on the Gordon River and part of the lore and lure of Old Florida, Tin City was once the center of Naples’ fishing industry, where sturdy buildings housed a bustling Marine Marketplace. Today, those same buildings have been preserved as Tin City Waterfront Shops, with 30 unique boutiques, two waterfront restaurants, and an ice cream parlor. Tin City is also the launch point for boating adventures, attracting visitors of all ages.

Set steps away from the Gulf of Mexico and the 19thcentury Naples Pier, you’ll stroll past more fashion houses, boutiques, jewelry, home décor, art galleries, and outdoor cafés at one of the city’s most charming neighborhoods, Third Street South, which also holds the distinction of being one of the few shopping streets in the United States to have its own Street Concierge.

The Concierge booth is staffed daily to answer questions and provide advice on shopping, dining, events, and more. And you will likely have questions about everything to do and see here, from the gourmet and wine stores to the weekly Third Street South Farmers Market, showcasing a variety of homemade foods, plants, soaps, baskets, and tons of other treasures.

Immerse yourself in Naples’ rich art and culture scene, where galleries, theaters, and museums celebrate the city’s creative spirit.

In Naples, the arts surround you at every turn.

Whether it’s the abundance of art galleries, a world-class museum, vibrant theater and orchestra performances, or museums that delve into history, the city offers a rich cultural tapestry. Venerated landmarks and diverse venues highlight Naples’ unique blend of fine art, Hispanic and Indigenous influences, and the local charm affectionately known as “swamp heritage.” With a deep appreciation for culture spanning past, present, and future, Naples truly has the arts embedded in its DNA.

The Heart of Art

Performance meets visual arts at Artis—Naples, the region’s center for entertainment and enrichment.

On its North Naples campus, visitors can find The Baker Museum for modern art and special exhibitions alongside its performing arts halls, home to the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra and Miami Ballet. Also on the playbill are year-round Broadway plays, worldfamous musicians and comedians, film appreciation, opera, dance, pops, jazz, youth classes, and musical groups — and the list goes on and on.

With a foundation of Artis—Naples, culture takes a frontrow seat in Naples’ vibrant performing arts department. The theater continues to flourish from landmark troupes and venues like The Naples Players at the newly

A CREATIVE

HAVEN

From gallery browsing to hands-on workshops, this thriving hub is a must-visit for art enthusiasts to get a behind-the-scenes look at creativity in action.

Just a short distance from Naples Grande Beach Resort, keep an eye out for a modest sign along Pine Ridge Road announcing the Naples Art District. While it may lack the flashy architecture and elaborate displays of traditional art hubs, this vibrant area — centered at the crossroads of Shirley Street and J&C Boulevard — boasts over 100 independent artists showcasing their work in galleries and unassuming studios brimming with delightful surprises.

In addition to an urban neighborhood, where you can browse and buy art from sculptures and woodworking to works of glass, digital art, and fiber, Naples Art District presents opportunities to meet the artists, watch them at work, and even learn from them.

Every Thursday afternoon and second Saturday of the month, November through April, free Open Studios in the Naples Art District make for a

lively, creative time from 1 to 5 p.m. The community and visitors are welcome to tour the artist studios, watch art being made, learn about the processes for various media, and hear about educational opportunities.

Inspired by the artists’ creativity and skill, you may want to sign up for one of the 50 classes the studios offer. For serious art lovers to wannabe creators, the studios’ classes include such niche skills and genres as atelier-style drawing, paint-and-sip sunset, necklace design, mono printing with botanicals, ornament glassblowing, beginner macramé, introduction to the potter’s wheel, and Japanese-style tie-dye.

Compared to Naples’ storied downtown gallery-hopping reputation, a gallivant through the Naples Art District feels like an adventure, where littleknown discoveries lie in wait for the connoisseur — a don’t-miss scene for buyers and art lovers of all sorts.

Steeped in History

Learn more about Naples’ fascinating blend of cultures and intriguing timeline — from

prehistoric creatures to the railroad era and modern times — at the region’s museums and preserved landmarks. Start downtown in Old Naples, where the Naples Pier anchors the present to days past when wealthy adventurers made their way by boat to this tropical paradise on the Gulf of Mexico. Historic Palm Cottage & the Norris Gardens and other vintage downtown buildings remember the early days of settlement.

Later, the railroad brought winterers, visitors, and new residents; and the Naples Depot Museum paid homage to all means of transportation that developed and defined Naples. Its sister museums, the Collier County Museum at Government Center, the Marco Island Historical Museum, and the Museum of the Everglades, create a well-rounded tableau of the region’s rich fishing, boating, golfing, and Calusa tribe heritage. Traveling exhibits visit little-known aspects of local art and history. Revs Institute & Car Museum also dwells on Naples’ role in the field of transportation. Even kids get a taste of where Naples came from at the

Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples, where interactive exhibits emphasize the arts, the Florida Everglades, and the iconic Naples Trolley.

Tropical Canvas

Old Naples is also the cradle of the region’s always-vibrant visual arts scene. The Third Street South and Fifth Avenue South districts have long brought art to gallery walls and into the streets with sculptures and art festivals. Third Street South’s Gallery Row is home to the highly respected Harmon-Meek Gallery, while Englishman Fine Art puts the polish on Fifth Avenue’s row call of diverse galleries specializing in everything from glass art to African-inspired sculptures and paintings.

The adjacent Naples Design District has become the latest trendy neighborhood for a mash-up of contemporary architecture, headline artists such as Phil Fisher and Amy Moglia Heuerman, plus artistic interior designers.

ELEGANCE ED VAT E

Opening next winter, Naples’ most legendary Gulf-front enclave has captivated the prime property market.

Serene white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, lush vegetation, balmy Gulf breezes, and fiery pink-and-gold sunsets — Naples brings them all together to create the idyllic backdrop of vacation dreams, and an even more enchanting setting for year-round waterfront living.

Coupled with its inimitable array of cultural institutions, luxury shopping, fine dining, recreational activities galore, top-ranked educational offerings, and beyond, it’s little wonder why, year after year, U.S. News & World Report ranks this city as the best place to live in Florida.

For well-heeled homebuyers, finding a residence in Naples that encapsulates the sheer exquisiteness of the area is a must — most especially with coveted access to the Gulf of Mexico, Vanderbilt Beach, and Naples’ famed estuary — as well as neighborhood hot spots and treasured local venues.

In response to that demand, a new icon has emerged along the coast: The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Naples. Developed by the awardwinning, Naples-based luxury home builder, Stock Development, a family-owned community pillar, and overseen by its high-end condominium division, Stock Residences, the state-of-the-art project is The Ritz-Carlton’s first residential development in Naples and already poised to be one of the most sought after in the world.

Construction of the six-acre enclave has been progressing steadily, with occupancy on track for next winter. Comprising a collection of 128 beautifully appointed estate-like residences, the transformative, ultra-high-end project — well sited at the intersection of Vanderbilt Beach Road and Gulf Shore Drive — will be flanked by Vanderbilt Beach and the Gulf of Mexico to the west and Vanderbilt Lagoon to the north, giving owners unprecedented access to a myriad of high-touch services and

amenities managed by The Ritz-Carlton.

“This is a jewel in the crown of the Stock Residences portfolio,” said Brian Stock, CEO of Stock Development. “The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Naples, is a legacy project — a branded residence with unparalleled amenities and services. We know the world has been watching our Naples market with great excitement, and this signature community will be no exception.”

Sales activity at The Residences has been booming, with discerning buyers seeking features that cater to every conceivable comfort and convenience. Penthouses have been a particular draw, with several already having sold ahead of the project’s completion. This impressive achievement has underscored the unique appeal and demand for these one-of-akind residences.

“We have taken our deep-rooted insight and successes from the luxury single-family home market and have ‘gone vertical’ with that expertise and care,” said Claudine Léger-Wetzel, vice president of sales and marketing for Stock. “The array of custom selections and features that buyers will be getting here is virtually unheard of.”

Amenities at The Residences will be jawdropping, from a full-service marina, private restaurant, and private full-service spa to the 28,000-square-foot Vanderbilt Club, rooftop lounges, resort-style pools with cabana suites and fire pits, sprawling fitness center, plush theater, kids’ and teen rooms, and more.

Designed by architectural authorities Curts Gaines Hall Jones (CGHJ) Architects, the project features landscaping by Booth Design Group and thoughtfully curated spaces by renowned interior architect Cristian Pinedo, founder of SUSURRUS. Embracing the sublime surroundings, Pinedo’s timeless artistry is rooted in the sheer beauty of Naples and this highly desirable Gulf-front paradise.

“From a global perspective, the vision has been to capture the essence of Naples,” said Pinedo, whose lauded portfolio of work includes The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad, and the Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto in Japan. “I wanted to take that unmatched character and raw beauty,

put it into a box, shake it up, and present it as a final design. Everyone who visits this project will experience the splendor that is so quintessentially Naples — and, for that matter, Southwest Florida. Key influences are Mediterranean villas (reminiscent of Europe’s seaside towns, like Naples, Italy, of course); the estuary, which is something that makes Naples tremendously unique; and the coastal lifestyle — the relationship between sea and sun. As a design firm, we always develop one-of-a-kind concepts for each project, and that holds overwhelmingly true here.”

TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE

This family-owned, Naples-based development company is among the top 50 builders nationally.

Anywhere you go in search of your piece of paradise, you’ll find celebrated communities bearing the distinctive brand of Stock Development Custom Homes in Southwest Florida.

With more than seven decades of building experience, the Stock family name has long been synonymous with quality real estate. The company has more than 20 years of experience in Southwest Florida and remains committed to the tradition of excellence that has shaped it from the start.

As one of Southwest Florida’s preeminent residential developers and builders, Stock has been ranked as one of the country’s top 100 building firms for nine years running — honored with more than 500 awards for outstanding communities, product design, amenities, and overall quality, netting multiple “Community of the Year,” “Builder of the Year,” and “Developer of the Year” accolades.

“It is an amazing achievement for a family-owned development company in Naples to be among the top 50 builders nationally,” said Claudine Léger-Wetzel, vice president of sales and marketing at Stock Development. “It’s a testament to the extraordinary dedication and professionalism of our entire team!”

Throughout Southwest Florida, the company is currently building an array of exceptional homes in distinctive communities and neighborhoods.

In Naples, Stock Development has generated widespread buzz through one of its newest projects, Caymas, a luxurious, resort-style community with waterfront and preserve views on one

of the city’s last lakefront properties. With its idyllic setting, exclusive lifestyle, and beautifully designed residences, Caymas has become a must-see among discerning buyers. A collection of 10 designer-decorated models is currently open for touring, and construction on the enclave’s amenities are well underway. The Sports Park is expected to open this spring, and the build-out of a spectacular, 30,000-square-foot clubhouse will commence this summer.

Stock Residences, the company’s high-rise division, is also making tremendous progress on The RitzCarlton Residences, Naples, which is on track for delivery next winter. This remarkable project is The Ritz-Carlton’s first and only branded residence in the Naples market. With its magnificent Gulf Coast setting; collection of just 128 estate-like residences, penthouses, and grand penthouses; more than 50,000 square feet of amenities managed by The Ritz-Carlton; high-touch services; and sought-after adjacency to Vanderbilt Beach, it’s little wonder that so many buyers, far and wide, continue to single out the property for their future homes.

Stock Custom Homes continues to grow, building custom estates in numerous Southwest Florida neighborhoods, including Bay Colony, Port Royal, Pine Ridge Estates, and Wild Blue at Waterside in Sarasota’s Lakewood Ranch community.

Wild Blue at Waterside by Stock has quickly become a sought-after address. The 550-acre enclave — replete with amenities — features serene lakes and lush preserves, with 16 designer-

decorated models now open for touring. A 13-acre Midway Sports Complex will open within the community this spring, certain to be a haven for sports enthusiasts. Construction on the 30,000-square-foot clubhouse will begin this summer and be completed for the 2027 season.

In Bonita Springs, Stock Luxury Homes has been a proud collaborator at the Grande Shores lakefront community. Developed by Pulte Homes, this extraordinary retreat will feature luxurious living on three large lakes, encompassing a total of 489 acres. Within the community, Stock will be planning 183 residences on a choice of 76-, 90-, and 105-foot lots in seven distinctive model designs, from British West Indies to traditional and modern-style elevations.

In short, Stock gives luxury buyers unparalleled choices. The company continues to expand its reach in Southwest Florida with furnished models in communities and neighborhoods from Marco Island north to Bradenton.

But Stock Development is much more than a luxury home builder in Southwest Florida. The company’s operations extend up Florida’s Atlantic coast and as far north and west as Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Stock builds high-end apartments, provides world-class country club management, and brings its established brand of quality to the commercial markets of retail and office space.

“From one market to the next, we continue to cement our foothold as the preeminent luxury homebuilder and developer, crafting the most sought-after, high-end communities,” says Léger-Wetzel. “What we accomplished in 2024 was a great coup, but what’s on the horizon for the year ahead — and the next 20 years, for that matter — is nothing short of phenomenal.”
