I’ll never forget the first time I met Ashley and Taylor. We hung out for at least an hour and a half and really connected. They both love music and love to have fun. Working with them was very easy. The Farmhouse provided the backdrop for an amazing reception. Kelsey Souther Photography did an awesome job capturing the big day. Unveiled Weddings and Events brought the look together with floral, coordination, and styling. Ashley’s gown from Something Blue was beautiful! Spinnin’ Productions made the room pop with orange uplighting. We projected a custom monogram with their names on the wall to set the room off. The photobooth was a hit and all guests got copies to go home with them to remember the special day! Ashley and Taylor received a deluxe memory book to go home with them that night. We kept them dancing all night to rock, country, hip hop, and 90’s and early 2000’s party tunes. They were a fun bunch! They didn’t wanna go home!

bridal party! They did Amber’s hair and makeup for this shoot and we loved how it turned out! The hair style felt like it had a 1960’s vibe and the makeup was such a feminine natural look. She looked like she was glowing! Amber’s ring, necklace and earrings came from Brad’s Custom Designs & Jewelry! The oval cut diamond looks so elegant on her ring finger! Another great option that Fair Oaks Farms offers is that they have a custom dinner menu that you can choose from. For this stylized shoot they made an 8oz grilled filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, herb compound butter and finished with micro greens. Also showcased is a pan seared salmon accompanied by roasted fingerling potatoes, seasonal vegetables, beurre blanc sauce and frisee lettuce. With the help of Burns Special Events, a stunning tablescape was created! We loved the texture that the linens gave. The light blue chargers and beautifully designed dessert plates really popped against the white linens.

La Petite Fleuriste did an outstanding job with the floral arrangements she created for this shoot! We loved the bright colors of magenta, purple and greenery that she incorporated with the wood dĂŠcor for the tablescapes. The ceremonial arch was also provided by La Petite. The draping of the floral on the arch looked stunning! The flowers she used were seeded eucalyptus, lisianthus, hot Mayra garden roses, lavender mum balls, nagi, pink parrot tulips, peonies, plumose, stock and iris.

One of our favorite features about this dress is the back where two tassels hang from the button clasps at the top! The crochet lace detail and halter top makes this dress one-ofa-kind!

There is just something so elegant and sophisticated about an all-white wedding cake. We love the one that Designer Desserts made for this shoot. Enjoy that time with your future spouse and close family and friends. Some other advice I like to share is “use all of your favors.” We have all helped a friend move or driven a family member to the airport, your wedding is the best time to cash in those favors.

The title, A Whimsical Romance, embodies what we wanted this summer shoot to showcase. For this summer stylized shoot, we really wanted to embrace a whimsical and calming color palette that is very pleasing to the eye. We focused on simplicity, yet bold key pieces, to stand out on their own. Newly renovated, The Blue Teal is a must see for any bride-to-be! The beautiful stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings and gorgeous patio creates an inviting atmosphere for you and your guests! They even have an adorable bridal suite just outside of the venue where you and your bridal party can get ready. You can have your rehearsal, ceremony and reception all in one location catered by Nelson’s BBQ. AAYS created a seating area by the fireplace that looked like it came straight out of a home dÊcor magazine! We loved how it just brightened up the room. These types of lounge atmospheres are wonderful spaces to create for your guests to grab cocktails and mingle during the slower time between the ceremony ending and before the reception begins. AAYS Event Rentals did an outstanding job styling and decorating this Whimsical Romance shoot! The barn wood tablescapes matched perfectly with the fireplace at The Blue Teal and then the accenting gold chairs and dĂŠcor really made the look pop! Their color choices between the blush, lilac, and light smoke grey looked absolutely magnificent. AAYS also created a small ceremony spot inside The Blue Teal! This ceremony design could also be placed outside on the patio if you are looking for an outdoor wedding. The drapery made the overall look magical.

When Matzke Florist arrived with the floral arrangements, we immediately fell in love! The beautiful centerpieces for the tablescapes, the stunning bouquet, and the delicate floral design for the back of the chairs looked so elegant and classy! A few of the flowers used were amnesia roses, playa blanc white roses, nena pink roses, lavender and pink spray roses. The Blue Teal created a scrumptious meal for the bride, groom, and their guests. They made beef tenderloin tips with demi-glace, redskin mashed potatoes and brown sugar glazed Parisian carrots. They also made Port-a-Pit chicken breast with Marsala and mushrooms, redskin mashed potatoes and brown sugar glazed Parisian carrots.

This four-tiered cake was so exquisite that you couldn’t help but just stare! From the marbled bottom tier to the floral design outlined in gold, this cake was a masterpiece! Oh, and the taste of the cake was out of this world!

We have been together since we were in 7th grade. We dated for 10 years before getting married. He ended up proposing in 2018 and we had a two year engagement. We originally had this big extravagant wedding planned and had already changed our venue twice. Due to COVID, we couldn't have our 150 guests like we had planned. We ended up changing the venue for the third time and having a very small, intimate wedding at my parents house. At first we were a bit bummed that it wasn't our ideal wedding, and although it wasn't what we planned, it ended up being better than we had imagined. We were finally married and spent it with those who meant the most to us. If COVID has taught us anything it's that your plans may change but the most important part is that you will still get married to the love of your life at the end!

Describe Your Engagement We met at a local pizza place for dinner- it was a weekday and we both worked late. After dinner, he sped home. I came in hot, yelling that he hadn’t waited for me outside. He was nervously standing in the living room of our first apartment with a package. He said, “Something came in the mail for you. You should open it.” It was a few weeks before Christmas and I knew I hadn’t ordered anything for myself. After arguing for a few minutes, I finally opened the package that contained a monogrammed pullover. He said something along the lines of knowing I wanted one but didn’t want me to order one until I could have the name on it that I’d have forever! He proceeded to bend down and said he wanted to know if I would take his last name. The ring came out of thin air! Describe Your Wedding Vision My vision was a winter industrial chic wedding. I fell in love with Warren Hall at Journeyman Distillery the moment I walked in. I based every single detail off that space from there on out. Winter features were important. Not holiday, but winter! I decided on a main color of crimson with dusty blue and gold accents. That crimson turned into crimson velvet after falling in love with a dress I saw on Pinterest. I found a local seamstress who made that vision come to life. Touches of pine mixed with eucalyptus and gave a clean wintery feel. A DIY balloon arch and string lights were the perfect touches. Describe Your Wedding Day Truly magic is the only way I could begin to describe our wedding day. Being surrounded by the people we love most in this world all day long - truly a day we will never have again. The constant smiles, laughter, and love! Friends traveled from as far as Texas, Georgia and Northern Ireland to spend our big day with us. No matter what task we needed help with all weekend, our loved ones were up for the challenge. It took a village and our day went off without a hitch. We woke up reminiscing about how lucky we are to have so many special people in our lives. Your Advice to Engaged Couples Hand write thank you cards and have your tips/gifts ready to go prior to the big day. Assign someone you trust (we asked a bridesmaid to hand ours) to get them all into the right hands. Tip for the limo driver? Envelope. Gift for the hairstylist? Envelope! This was truly a life saver & our vendors were so touched by both the handwritten notes and sweet gifts. 86
