orwich Theatre Royal, Norwich Playhouse and Stage Two are at the centre of cultural life in the East of England. We are committed to delivering excellence and providing the very best opportunities for everyone to engage with theatre and the performing arts. Based in the centre of the historic city of Norwich, our family of venues collectively include: one of the leading regional theatres in England; an award winning medium-scale venue that is recognised as the region’s home of comedy; and a new state of the art Learning & Participation facility that includes a 100-seat studio theatre. Through our artistic programme, across our three stages and for 52 weeks of the year, we aim to bring the world to Norwich & Norfolk and take Norwich & Norfolk to the world. We work with a wide range of national touring companies including The National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, Glyndebourne, Northern Ballet, Rambert, English Touring Opera and these are complemented with productions from the West End and Edinburgh Fringe.

Culture and our region As a key sector, arts and culture are a vital source for economic growth, in terms of jobs and employment and cultural tourism. They contribute to innovation and collaboration across other regional sectors and culture is worth ÂŁ83.6m to the economy of Norfolk and Suffolk, employs 5,800 people and has over 1000 businesses. Our ambitions for continuing to develop our audiences and our Learning and Participation programme are far-reaching. Across our three venues we make an enormous contribution to our region being a fantastic place to live, work, visit and invest. Collectively we are recognised as a vital part of the cultural ecology by making our region more vibrant and attractive, supporting and developing talent, skills and inspiring audiences.

Transform is our top level Sponsorship that supports and delivers our new creative thinking and leadership programme as its key benefit.
