Historic building materials from original GCR donated from the construction of HS2 railway line. A million pounds has now been raised to fund a further two stages of the Great Central Railway’s ambitious Reunification project. The money has come from the local community and rail enthusiasts across the country who want to see the two separate halves of the award-winning East Midlands heritage line reconnected. The two railways were separated after closure in the 1960s. Putting them back together will create an eighteen-mile heritage link across the East Midlands; not only will this be an internationally recognised tourist attraction, but it will sustain and create jobs in the region’s economy. There are seven phases of work to complete the link. Two have been completed including a new bridge has to carry trains over the Midland Main Line at Loughborough and the full refurbishment of an existing bridge over a canal. The money being raised will go towards completing two more - the crossing of a road called Railway Terrace and a factory car park. Andy Fillingham, Chairman of the Friends of the Great Central Main Line, the membership club supporting the GCR and leading the fundraising for the project said, “Raising one million pounds is an incredible achievement by everyone involved. To everyone who has supported the appeals and got involved, a heartfelt thank you. This is a real people power project, putting back a railway which so many didn’t want to close in the first place.

Meanwhile, Reunification has received an unusual boost from an unlikely source. The brand-new High Speed 2 rail line is currently being built between London and Birmingham. The line is due to cross the site of the original Great Central Railway station at Finmere Bridge in Oxfordshire. During the demolition of the old GCR Station, some masonry has been recovered, including eight handsome bridge coping stones. The plan is that these coping stones will be used in the course of the construction of the Reunification scheme, giving the new project a real connection to the past.

Andy concluded, “With the railway reopened after the various lockdowns, we’re getting back to face to face fund-raising, not only at the GCR but around the community too. We’re looking forward to meeting people and bringing them up to date with the latest news on Reunification. It’s the biggest heritage railway project in the UK and has really got people fired up!”

Protecting Your Family’s Inheritance Article by Klara Hesling
Our frontline staff follow Government guidelines for visiting you in your home and they are in the vaccination program with second course completed. LevLaw Ltd remains here for you. Most people hope that their estate will pass on to their children and grandchildren eventually. But this will not happen for many, unless careful arrangements have been made to protect their assets from being taken towards the end of their life to pay for care home fees. The solution to help protect your estate is a Will incorporating a Property Protection Trust (PPT).
Say Farewell To The Rockets! Article by Loros
A galaxy of spectacular Rockets will be touching down at Leicester’s National Space Centre on 9th-10th October for a final weekend of space-tastic fun! The Rocket Round Leicester art trail, 40 giant Rockets plus 35 mini Junior Jets, have been weaving a trail around the city for the past ten weeks. Brought to Leicester by local charity LOROS Hospice together with leading art event producers Wild in Art, the Rockets will gather together for the last time before being auctioned off to raise muchneeded funds for LOROS. Tickets are available now for this special weekend, sponsored by the University of Leicester, which is a great opportunity to see the beautiful designs in one place. These include the hugely popular Blue Army Rocket, sponsored by Leicester City Football Club, Richard III Rocket King which has brought the king-in-the-car-park to life and many other favourites like Bogswamp, a giant blue fluffy monster. Laura Betts, Fundraising Manager at LOROS Hospice, said: “Our Farewell Weekend is the perfect opportunity to catch any Rockets you may have missed, and say goodbye to your favourites! You can also unlock any missed rewards on the app and snap that perfect selfie! It will be an out-ofthis-world family weekend!”
than 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, delivering free, high-quality, compassionate care to terminally ill patients, their family and carers. LOROS has to raise £8.4 million from the local community every year to be able to deliver that care.
A testamentary PPT can only be executed whilst both partners remain alive. Upon death of the first partner, their Will specifies that their share of the property is placed into trust and names the ultimate beneficiary of this share, normally the children and grandchildren of the deceased. The surviving partner, under the terms of the trust, has the unequivocal right to remain living in the property for the rest of their life. On the death of the second partner the Trust comes to an end and the property passes to the beneficiaries.
Laura adds: “The trail has been a real smash hit with the people of Leicester, bringing the community together after 18 months of isolation. The Rockets have taking us on a voyage of recovery as well as discovery. Now we’re inviting everyone to come along to say farewell to these magnificent Rockets, and raise funds for your local hospice in the process.”
As the surviving partner does not own the deceased’s share of the property it is fully protected for the beneficiaries, so if the surviving partner requires care, or even remarries, this share of the children’s inheritance is protected. This last point can be particular interest to couples who have come together and have children with different partners.
Leicester City Mayor Sir Peter Soulsby said: “The rocket trail has been a colourful and captivating highlight of summer in Leicester, and I’m delighted that we could host it and support LOROS in their incredible work. Seeing all of the rockets in one place for the first time will be a spectacular sight, and I’m sure many people will snap up the chance to do this and to help raise funds for their local hospice.” Simon Jenner, Director of BID Leicester, said: “It’s been fantastic to see people of all ages in the city centre enjoying the Rocket Round Leicester trail. The additional footfall in the city has been a great boost to our local businesses during the summer months. The Farewell Event is a great opportunity to see all the sculptures one final time in an out-of-this-world setting, all whilst raising money for a good cause.”
Many of the artists who painted the Rocket sculptures will be on hand to answer questions and talk about the inspiration behind their amazing designs too.
The Farewell Weekend heralds the end of the Rocket Round Leicester trail. Next stop will be the glittering grand auction on Wednesday 13th October, where, it is hoped, they will raise tens of thousands of pounds for LOROS Hospice.
All the proceeds raised by tickets and merchandise will go to support LOROS patient care. Each year the charity supports more

A PPT can help each person in a relationship ensuring that their children inherit their share of the property, while giving their surviving partner the ability to live in the property for the rest of their life. If the surviving partner wants to move to another property, they can still sell the property and the proceeds to be used to purchase a new property, the terms of the Trust remain over the new property.

Shepshed Lions Carnival Update Article by Lynn Jackson
The eleventh Shepshed Lions Carnival took place as planned on August Bank Holiday Monday, and nearly 5000 people came along to enjoy the show. Local MP Jane Hunt, and Councillor David Northage, Vice Chair of Shepshed Town Council, opened the event at 12 noon sharp in Glenmore Park, and both thanked the Lions for bringing the event back after the disappointment of having to cancel it last year because of Covid. Entertainer Mad Dom kept everyone amused throughout the afternoon, while The Worlds Strongest Man contender ‘The Mighty Smith’ amazed everyone with his feats of strength, culminating in a giant kids tug of war. Ye Olde Redtail Falconry Display team also brought the youngsters into the arena, giving them the opportunity to get up close and personal with different birds of prey, including Archie the Vulture. Punch and Judy and the fairground rides were as popular as ever, and there were nearly fifty trade and charity stalls. The Fire and Rescue team from Shepshed Fire Station taught everyone how to respond to a fire - and, spectacularly, how NOT to deal with a chip pan fire - adding water sent an impressive ball of fire skywards.

Food and Nutrition Lessons In Years 7 & 8 lessons are taught in nine-week blocks. We concentrate on how to make things we love healthier and how foods fit into the Eatwell Guide. Year 7 students focus on healthy eating making things such as soup, stir fry and fruit muffins. In Year 8 we cover cultural food. Students have the opportunity to learn about foods from different countries and try different ingredients they may not have experienced before, making things such as tabbouleh, carbonara and tamil curry.
Lion President Lynn Jackson said, ‘We did a lot of preparation last year for Carnival, hoping against hope for as long as we could that the event might be able to go ahead, but the Covid situation obviously made it impossible. So I am really delighted that after all we as a community have been through, we have been able to bring back Shepshed Carnival. Special thanks must go to the people of Shepshed, who have turned out in bigger numbers than ever before, Shepshed Town Council for letting us use Glenmore Park, St Botolph’s Church for the loan of their tables and chairs, and all the shops and local businesses that sponsor the event. This includes Loughborough Building Society, Michelmersh Brick, PRIMO IT, A Plan Insurance, and Bill and Winnie Cooling, to mention just a few. As always, every single penny of profit made from Carnival will be given to charitable causes, mostly for local people.’
Those choosing Food and Nutrition in Year 9 begin their GCSE building their skills in practical lessons concentrating on sauce making, knife skills, bread and pastry. They build knowledge in theory lessons including studying macro and micronutrients, food provenance, food choice and specialist diets.
“
It bridges the gap between creativity and science Year 11 student
”
Continuing in Year 10 students then cover the more complex food science and complete mock coursework developing their skills in pasta making, presentation and dessert/pastry making. In Year 11 students complete two assessments, the first based around food science involving experimenting with ingredients to show understanding of how they work. The second builds towards a practical exam where students make three dishes in three hours aiming for complexity and precision. The final part of the GCSE is the written exam where students' knowledge of nutrition, food science and production are all tested. Students really enjoy food and nutrition. They get great satisfaction when eating dishes that they have created and build skills that will last a lifetime. Mrs Court, Lead Food & Nutrition Teacher

Als Electronic Shepshed Experience Article by Allan Dobb
Its been a busy time and it continues to be so on Al’s Electronic jobby podcast. I have been out and about producing Facebook live at the Shepshed Lions Carnival and at the Passion Hub. Firstly the Carnival which took most people by surprise in the fact of how many attended. I got around with Syd the selfie stick speaking with stall holders and some of the organisers. Like most public events the staff behind the scenes keep the whole event running smoothly. I would mention the Friends of Shepshed Lions, this group has been set up by the current Chair person, Lynn Jackson. The group are used as a support group, its a opportunity to see what it takes, and how the Lions work. To join this group please contact Lynn, you can leave a message on the Shepshed Lions page. All charity run organisations need new blood, so to speak, and the Lions who raise money in the community also support the community with the money, so it is worth while. As people move into Shepshed and the surrounding areas, this is a great way to meet new friends and help in the place we live in. September 11th saw me live at the Passion Hub, the centre in Shepshed for young people. I spoke with Vicky Gould the week previous on the Saturday Podshow. The show is still available to listen to, Vicky was speaking about the fund raising, and other issues that arise concerning our young. At Passion now you will find a cafe run by the members, its is open Saturdays and Sundays. The food fare on offer is amazing, but don’t take my word try it, the pricing also is very reasonable. Like with The Lions and Passion, they will always need help, and if you feel you have a gifting and could help any of the groups well pop in and introduce yourself, make difference with your presence. I continue to speak with people who are making a difference to the community on the podshows every Saturday morning at 10.am. if you have a Facebook account type in the search engine; Al’s Electronic Shepshed Experience, this will take you to my group page. I do a feature every day Monday through Friday. Al….
Shepshed Schoolgirl Emily 'Scavenges' Her Way To Tech Prize Article by Chris Kershaw
Local schoolgirl Emily Cook landed herself a state-of-the-art Amazon Echo Dot as winner of The Nottingham's first ever Shepshed Scavenger Hunt community engagement event.
Hathern Parish Council
Throughout the summer holidays people picked up a clue sheet from the building society or nearby Finkins café and took to the streets of Shepshed to find a letter of the alphabet showcased in windows of 13 businesses and other organisations in the town.
Next Council Meetings Monday 8th November 2021, 19:30 Monday 13th December 2021, 19:30
Once they had undertaken the 'mission' they returned their sheets before all completed entries went into a free prize draw to win the Echo Dot donated by Belvoir, The Nottingham's estate agency and lettings provider.
Meetings will be held in Hathern Village Hall, under the current requirements for Parish Council Meetings. We have limited capacity due to COVID regulations and require all members of the public to not move any furniture upon arrival. Chairs will be set out with spaces in between. As normal however, we welcome the public along. We also welcome any questions to the Clerk prior to the meeting should you not wish to attend in person.
A delighted Emily's name came out of the hat first followed by several runners-up, including brothers Josh and Henry Coe, who each received a goodie bag full of items donated by organisations involved in the scavenger hunt.

After the summer recess, I have been back to Westminster again working on the issues affecting Shepshed and Hathern. Recently I asked the Secretary of State for Health, Sajid Javid, a question in the House about encouraging everyone to get the covid vaccine. On a recent call with the NHS locally, I was told that three quarters of all Covid patients in hospitals in Leicester were unvaccinated. The vaccine is our best defence against Covid and really helps to stop serious illness if you catch it. If you haven’t had your jab yet, you still can. You can book your jab online via the NHS website or attend one of the drop-in clinics which are taking place locally. The NHS is also starting to rollout booster jabs to those aged 50 or over, as well to frontline health and social care workers and those aged between 16 and 49 with an underlying health condition putting them at greater risk from the virus. Letters and texts being sent out to eligible people inviting them to top up their protection ahead of winter, six months or more after receiving their second jab. The success of the vaccine programme has meant that we have been able to enjoy some of the things that were unthinkable in 2020. It was wonderful to officially open the Shepshed Lions Carnival with Councillor David Northage, Vice Chair of Shepshed Town Council recently after it was cancelled last year. Nearly 5,000 people flocked to the Carnival to take part in the entertainment. My thanks to the Shepshed Lions Club for organising such a wonderful event as well as to everyone who attended. Money raised during the day will go to some wonderful local causes. To date, the Carnival has raised £45,000 which has been spent within the local community. Planning is already underway for the Carnival next year. I was delighted to attend the opening of the Passion community café in Bull Ring recently along with Charnwood Mayor, Cllr Paul Baines. As many will know, Passion have been supporting young people in Shepshed for over ten years. Now they have opened an amazing community and youth facility. The café is open to the public every weekend. Why not support them? The cakes are also fabulous!
Borough Councillor for Hathern
Hathern led the way post lockdown with a multi-event weekend in June, including providing a first gig for every one of the comedians for over a year. Then the Village Association and Hathern Together put on an 80s evening. Now the village is teeming with events. The Village Association guys really are gluttons for punishment. They have taken on the revival of Hathern Club. They organised a ridiculously short window for a major refurbishment of the premises. I did some wallpaper stripping, painting and scraping years of black gunk from the lino floor in front of the bar. Just what I had in mind when I enrolled as a candidate! The opening night will be over by the time you read this, but they are planning a lot of entertainment in the coming months, including bingo, Kalooki, many live acts and a gig by my favourite covers band, the Zufflers. That will be a blast in a small venue. The quiz night is coming back twice a month, once in the club and once in the Dew Drop. You can form teams, but you will have to decide whether you are competing for the club or the pub. So we hope that many people will come to the Club, have a lot of drinks and enjoy the shows. Due to the delays in building the roundabout near Dishley Grange, the HVA will be holding the annual Fireworks event on the festival field in November. Please buy your tickets when they are available and make this a success. The fireworks cost a small fortune and we really don’t want these local heroes to be out of pocket again. Hathern Youth Club is running a Scarecrow Festival on October 16th and 17th. Prizes have been donated by all four Hathern pubs and the HVA. Text 07921827505 or email hathernevents@gmail.com by October 7th to get involved. Several children completed the Summer Reading Challenge through our wonderful little library. Well done to all who did. Keep coming to get more books through the autumn and winter. If anyone has issues to raise, I am in the library every third Tuesday (2 – 4) and Saturday (10 – 12) doing a shift.
I have very much enjoyed campaigning for Ian Williams recently, who was the Conservative candidate in the Shepshed West by-election. I always enjoy knocking on doors, speaking to residents face-to-face. I was delighted when Ian won the seat, making him the newest councillor on Charnwood Borough Council. Ian will be a great councillor, and a great representative for Shepshed.
The library reading group meets once a month on a Tuesday evening. They put the kettle on, and have a lively, entertaining and enjoyable discussion about books for an hour or so. The next session is on October 5th to discuss ‘A Little Life’ by Hanya Yamagihara. This will reach you a bit late for that one unless you’re a fast reader. If not, you can attend in November. Details on the library website.
I have enjoyed watching the Paralympics over the summer and was delighted to Shephed’s own Thomas Young win gold in the men's 100m T38 title in a European record 10.94 seconds. This is a phenomenal achievement and I’m looking forward to seeing Thomas achieve further success in the years ahead.
The application to build on land down to the Zouch road is still in the early stages. There has been a lot of confusion about the hedgerow south of the proposed site. This is still being discussed and no decisions have been made. At the moment, the developers are proposing the removal of half of the hedge to increase access for the new residents and connectivity to Daisy Bank and the village. I don’t think such destruction would make much difference to connectivity. If the hedge had to go to accommodate more housing or facilities, I wouldn’t oppose it, but I don’t like the idea of habitat loss for a spurious human interest. They are also proposing several breaks in the west hedge for access to the play area. I think that it is unnecessary to remove so much and to have so many gaps. I think that the existing gap could be widened by a few metres and a bridge inserted to provide passage across the ditch and then to the village along the path at the top of Doble Crescent. I am also of the view that one extra gap would suffice to access the play area. Any more gaps would destroy most of the continuity of habitat for wildlife. There is a badger sett there as well which should be left alone. I will inform residents when the time comes for comments. You could also write to William Davis to express your views before they finalise and submit proposals.
As ever, if I can be any assistance, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.
Shepshed West By-Election Myriam Roberts (Labour Party) would like to thank all Shepshed residents who voted for her in the recent Shepshed West Charnwood Borough Council by-election. 14 | www.openboxpromotions.co.uk/news
The football club bounced back from a 2 – 1 defeat to Thurnby Rangers by thrashing Ashby Ivanhoe Knights 5 – 1 with goals from three guys called Liam and 2 from Dan Hutton. Not a great performance, I hear, but the three points will do. We are starting the booster jab rollout in earnest on October 1st at Southfields. You can have a jab 6 months after your second dose. Come on, everybody who is eligible, so that I can hang up my marshalling boots and put my feet up before Christmas. Please be careful. The case numbers are still too high in Charnwood and we haven’t got the students back yet.

17th century, but the 1620s House and Garden’s newest attraction is firmly rooted in the 21st century – an escape quest game! The historic venue has just launched the exciting escape game – which can be played both in person at the House or online in a virtual version. I have been shown the game when I visited the house. It would be brilliant for a family to do it together whilst walking around the house.
Autumn is well and truly here and the nights are drawing in very fast. At county we are now back to having face to face meetings and I love it.
The in-person version is included in the normal House admission price and the online version is free to play.
Collapsed Bank – near to Persimmon Homes I have been working with officers from county regarding the collapsed bank at the side of Hathern Road near to Persimmon Homes. The bank was rebuilt by Persimmon homes when they diverted the brook when they formed the access to the estate. The bank has collapsed and could cause a flood if we have a heavy rain. At the time of writing this report the bank has not been rebuilt.
More information about the Sorcery & Superstitions escape quest game is available at www.1620sHouse.org.uk/events/sorcery-superstitions-escapequest-2021-08-27
Gartree Prison One of my last visits before the county got back into face to face meetings was a visit to Gartree Prison near to Market Harborough. This is a category B prison for lifers and long term prisoners. County look after the library facilities at the prison and I went along to see how it was run. I was very surprised to see how large it was and the wide choices on offer for the prisoners. During the pandemic DVD’s were welcomed by the inmates, as they have no access to the internet. The library was closed for a very short period, each block used to send down their requests which were then taken back to be distributed. The prison is just starting up classes for English and Maths. Weed spraying Residents have contacted me regarding the state of the kerbs at the road side. Spraying the weeds is the responsibility of the County. Having been in contact with Environmental manager, the problem is that our contractors had been waiting to get the go ahead to use glyphosate, which goes against County’s Green and environmental policies. Other weed killers used do not work. It is hoped that the weeds will have been treated during the last 2 weeks in September. Shepshed Refuse and Recycling Tip I am sorry to report that it looks like the tip will stay closed for a number of weeks due to the lack of HGV drivers. Shepshed is not the only tip to be closed. There are 3 others in the County. Our nearest is Loughborough. There is also one in Coalville and Mountsorrel. Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) Health and Care Partnership Board This was held on Thursday 19th August and has an Independent Chair. There was a full agenda. The meeting is broken down into Policy and Planning where we received reports on the Health Inequalities Framework, Developing our Integrated Care Partnership and Place arrangements and a Summary of ICS Design Framework and the Health and Care Bill (which is currently going through parliament). Under the heading of Operational we looked at and discussed Hospital Discharges and Care at Home, the Voluntary Sector Infrastructure in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and we given a verbal update of how ‘Beat the Street’ – a partnership approach to children’s health was being received in the City. Under the heading of Governance we looked at the report from the ICS Transition Programme Board. Dedicated Neighbourhood Team, Shepshed Loughborough West I have had a meeting and did a patch walk with PS Tom Else who has just joined the team; I was able to discuss with him areas in Shepshed of concern such as ASB in the Market Place, persons trying house and car doors and Speeding Traffic. Listed below is the up to date list of the team:PS 2996 Tom Else – Thomas.else@leicestershire.pnn.police.uk PC 1969 Matt Orton – matthew.orton@leicestershire.pnn.police.uk PC 1128 Megan Evans – megan.evans@leicestershire.pnn.police.uk PCSO 6554 Lucinda Bailey – Lucinda.bailey@leicestershire.pnn.police.uk PCSO 6552 Mohammed Musa – mohammed.musa@leicestershire.pnn. police.uk PCSO 6136 Julia Parker – Julia.parker6136@leicestershire.pnn.police.uk PCSO 6542 Viren Patel – Virendra.patel@leicestershire.pnn.police.uk News showings for powerful Black Lives Matter Tool exhibition A powerful project which has been capturing the responses of Leicestershire people to the challenges raised by the Black Lives Matter movement has been such a big response that it will now be showcased in two new venues during Black History Month. The project and the pledges will also form part of the new Diversity exhibition at Loughborough Library, which will run throughout October and November. 1620s House launches new escape quest- Hugglescote near Coalville It might be more associated with the Gunpowder Plot, witchcraft, and the

I had pleasure in being introduced to the Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO when he visited the house on Thursday 23rd September. I had lunch with His Royal Highness, Miss Conley Deputy Lieutenant and Dan Harrison the Chairman of the County Council. Have your say on proposed changes to in-house Community Life Choices (day services) for adults in Leicestershire An eight-week consultation has been launched by Leicestershire County Council to ask residents’ about its Community Life Choices (CLC) day services. Community Life Choices provides a safe and supported place for adults in the country where they can enjoy social activities and get help with their day-to-day lives. The council is proposing to widen the number of approved Community Life Choices (day services) providers who help deliver the service to offer greater diversity, flexibility, choice and control to people who use it. It is also proposing to replace the provision of long-term Community Life Choices support packages with a new focus on crisis care, short term reablement and enablement, and support for carers who are affected by these proposals are really important to us. The consultation is running from Tuesday 31st August until midnight 26th October. To find out more about the proposals and complete the survey, please visit www.leicestershire.gov.uk/in-house-community-life-choices before midnight of 26th October. To anyone with kids who has a mobile phone I have been forwarded a message from the police in Doncaster who has recommended you download the HOLLIE Guard APP for them. If they are walking home late or alone, they can switch it on and you can track them. If someone approaches and they feel unsafe they can sake their phone. It sets off a high pitched alarm from the phone and also messages and alert to you (or whoever’s number is entered in as a guardian) This can be used by ANYONE, not just for kids. Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) A TTRO is to be made for the following location: Leicester Road/Cambridge Street. The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Severn Trent Water safely access manhole covers to repair the sewer pipes. First bells for Covid-19 memorial are cast at iconic bell foundry A memorial to mark the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on local communities in Charnwood is starting to take shape. The first three, quarter bells of the planned Hope Bell project were cast at Loughborough’s iconic John Taylor and Co bellfoundry. In 1836 John Taylor opened his first foundry in Loughborough in Packe Horse Lane when he was contracted to cast new bells for the Parish Church. In 1859 he opened a new foundry in Freehold Street, which was then and remains the largest purpose built Bellfoundry in the world. The Hope Bell project, backed by Loughborough Town Deal, will see the creation of a clock chime installation comprising four, quarter chime bells and the main Hope Bell. The four quarter bells will weigh between 3 cwt and 8 cwt and the main Hop Bell will weigh 1ton 5cwt, sound the note D and measure 4ft 4in in diameter. The Quarter bells will chime to mark the passing of each quarter of an hour. The Hope bell will strike each hour. The Hope Bell will be a lasting memorial to all those in Charnwood who have lost their lives in the Covid-19 pandemic and be a tribute to NHS and key workers. It will also be a beacon of hope for the future. Loughborough is synonymous with bells, being home to the last working bellfoundry in the UK. Welcoming students to Loughborough for new academic year Organisations have been working together to welcome students for the new academic year in Loughborough. Putting plans in place to help the students with a range of issues including Covid testing and vaccinations; personal safety and how to be a good neighbour. Such as the need to make sure their bins are out on the right day and put back after collection. All students are receiving Covid tests tested upon their arrival to Loughborough and will undergo weekly testing to monitor case levels. Covid vaccinations are being strongly encouraged and pop-up clinics are being held on campus.
