The second meeting of the Comenius project took place in Varde, Denmark from the 23rd to the 27th March.

In an Assembly each delegation presented its school through videos and photos which also showed the students during their school activities.

During the visit it was very interesting to take part in the school activities in the classroom. The Danish students were curious to meet us and to learn a few things about foreign countries and different cultures. At the same time it was an educational experience for us to observe the teaching method used there.

We were able to see the facilities and the equipment provided by the school (FOTO), but what struck us in particular, was the freedom students enjoyed in the school and the positive attitude they had regarding school life which was evident in their reluctance to leave the school when the lessons finished. This is the reason why they attend school with enthusiasm and motivation. In fact we saw students engrossed in their activities

The aim of the meeting was to plan the activities to be continued during this first year of the project, the methods to be adopted to fulfill the objectives , and the dates of the next meetings: in Italy in October (from the 5th to the 9th) and in Spain in March 2012.

The Danish teachers, students and headmaster gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home. During our free time they took us sightseeing in Varde and nearby places. We also tasted some Danish specialities, and on the first evening we enjoyed a typical Danish meal prepared by our hosts.

This second meeting was a great success and it helped to bring us closer together as a team
