Our Study In Year 3 we decided to look at one of the UK’s most visited tourist attractions; The London Eye. We spent the week looking at the London Eye. We enjoyed taking part in a variety of activities, including: •
Literacy – making posters about the London Eye, writing letters and creating shape poems.

Art – creating pastel pictures of the London Eye by night as well as giant posters using art straws.
• •
Maths – working out how long a trip on the London Eye would take.
We found out lots of facts about the London Eye. We designed posters to show what we learned.
We tried to make our posters bright and colourful!
We created shape poems, which describe what it is like to travel on the London Eye.
We really liked this picture of the London Eye taken at night. We tried to recreate it using oil pastels and chalk.
We also used art straws to create the London Eye. We added detail to show what people can do inside the pods.
