축사 Congratulatory message Mayor of TongYeong Kim Dong-jin 통영시장 김동진 먼저 2014년 도산예술촌 회원들의 정기전을 축하드립니 다. 뜨거운 햇살속에서 녹음이 우거지고 더위가 기승을 부리는 한 여름날의 도산면 쪽빛 바다가 내려다 보이는 예 술촌에서 “전국유명작가”초청전의 시간을 갖게 된 것을 진심으로 축하드립니다. 이곳 예인들은 소리 없이 안으로 치열한 작가정신을 불태 워왔습니다. 캔버스 앞에서 열정을 불태운 도산예술촌 작 가와 전국유명작가들을 초대하여 미술세계의 확장을 꾀하 는 등 많은 노력을 기울여 왔습니다. Above all, congratulations on Regular Exhibition of members of Dosan Artists’ Village. In the Artists’ Village overlooking indigo sea in front of Dosan -myeon in a hot summer day heat with lush vegetation, this “Nationwide Famous Artists” Invitation Exhibition deserves a heart-felt celebration. The artists here have worked with vigorous art spirit inside them. They have made much effort to expand art world by combining passionate artists in Dosan Artists’ Village with famous artists in the country who are invited to this exhibition.
It’s been already two decades since artists have been pouring their passion after renovating a little closed school on a hill and now the diverse colors are moving forward to a new destination. I sincerely hope that Dosan Artists’ integrity and intense passion will work as rich nutrition and play a great role in the development of art of local community. 아무리 좋은 그림일지라도 감상자가 없으면 무용지물이 됩니다. 많은 미술애호가, 주민, 그리고 문화에 목마른 많 은 이들이 함께 찾아와 공감의 폭을 넓히고, 사랑을 확인 하는 계기가 되기를 진심으로 바랍니다. 이번 전시를 위해 애쓰신 이충길 도산예술촌 촌장님을 비 롯한 작가 여러분의 노고에 감사드리며, 도산예술촌의 무 궁한 발전을 기원합니다. 감사합니다. No matter how great paintings are, they may become useless if there is no one to appreciate them. I hope that this exhibition will be a motive for many art lovers, local residents and those who are thirsty for culture to come to visit here and expand empathy and find love. I appreciate the hard work of Lee, Choong Gil, Village Chief of Dosan, and all the artists who have made this exhibition possible and wish ever glorious future for Dosan Artists’ Village. Thank you. 언덕에 기대앉은 작은 폐교를 아틀에로 개조하여 열정을 갈무리해 온지가 벌써 스무 해가 넘었고, 이제 그 나름의 빛깔들이 새로운 지향점을 향해 나아가고 있습니다. 도산 예술촌 작가들의 이런 성실함과 치열함이 한 세계를 열어나가는 거름이 되어 지역 미술발전에 큰 역할을 할 수 있게 되기를 바라는 마음 간절합니다.

인사말 Greeting Chied of Dosan Art Village Lee Chung-gil 도산예술촌장 이충길
예술인들의 향기 가득 배인 문화의 도시-통영의 도산면 에 도산예술촌이 개촌한지 벌써 14년이 되었습니다. 특히 도산면은 통영의 아름다운 자연을 느낄 수 있는 도산일주 로와 사량도행 선착장인 가오치 여객터미널과 낚시인이 즐겨찾는 유촌마을이 있어 외래인의 왕도가 잦은 곳이기 도 합니다. Where the culture of the city filled with the fragrance of art - on the dosan-myeon in TongYeong, Dosan Art Village has been 14 years already. In particular, the TongYeong dosan-myeon can feel the natural beauty of Dosanilju-ro and Gaochi Marine Terminal for Saryangdo and famous fishing place of Yuchon village, so Where is frequently visited by foreigners.
이번 작품전은 서울의 대표적 작가들과 부산, 울산 ,대구, 창원, 진주 등 전국 유명작가들을 초정해 도산예술촌 작가 들과 함께 작품전을 엽니다. ‘도산예술촌은 매년 전시회를 통해 외래 관광객과 통 영 지역 주민이 쉽게 문화 향수를 공유하는 장을 만들고 자 합니다. For hosting this exhibition, and would like to thank Mayor of Tongyeong Kim Dong-jin who had the support of many participants and artists like us look forward to the continued emphasis on production of the work in it, and look forward to the continued cooperation in the management of Dosan Art Village for Chief of Dosan myeon, Lee Chung-whan , and gratitude also Artistic creation space that artists are immersed in for local residents. Thank you. the creation in the natural environment such as this, Dosan art village, has made a number of achievements August. 1, 2014 in it.
