The Class of 2023 graduated on a windy and unseasonably cool morning at the end of May after a month full of celebrations. They have triumphed this year with numerous academic, artistic and athletic successes. Kindness and a dedication to others has been the hallmark of the Class of 2023. These close-knit relationships have resulted in a fantastic Upper School journey filled with plenty of laughter and fun despite the challenges of the pandemic. These Saints have shown that they have the power to effect change by establishing numerous organizations focused on societal issues ranging from recycling to social justice, and there is no question that this same drive will contribute to their future success. It has been a privilege to work with the members of the Class of 2023 and to help them find their next steps after NSA. We can’t wait to see what the future holds! Congratulations, Class of 2023!

Washington Scholars receive full scholarships, which are renewable for four years of undergraduate studies and include fees, room and board. In addition, the students are admitted to the Honors Program and have access to funding for experiential learning opportunities, such as studying abroad and undergraduate research.

Andres Kavon Afocx
Since joining the NSA family in sixth grade, Andres has been a dedicated member of various STEM programs. He served as captain of the Varsity Football Team for two years and was also a member of the Quiz Bowl and Computer Clubs. Andres is excited to attend Randolph-Macon College in the fall, where he plans to major in engineering.
Noah Steven Arooji*
A Saint since kindergarten, Noah was an impactful member of the Varsity Soccer Program throughout Upper School. He also enjoyed being a part of the Men’s Volleyball and Shanti Bhavan Clubs. Noah will attend the University of Virginia.
Thomas Robert Beard
Tommy joined the NSA family in the ninth grade, but he managed to play five different Varsity sports: lacrosse, swimming, golf, football and soccer, where he also served as a captain. In addition to sports, he was also a member of the Film and Political Awareness Clubs. Tommy will attend the University of Louisville, where he plans to major in business management.
Andrew Clarke Beute*
Andy participated in all facets of life at NSA, from theatre and band to sports to STEM. He played several lead roles in NSA musicals, was the section leader for Marching and Concert Bands, and he was also a member of the sailing, cross country, and track and field programs. Andy also served as the president of the Haitian Awareness Club and was an active member of the Robotics Club. Andy will attend the University of Michigan and will major in engineering.
Katelyn Marie Blackwell*
Katelyn joined the NSA family her junior year and quickly got involved in the B.O.O.K. and Change for Children Clubs. She will be greatly missed by the little Saints she spent so much time caring for in Extended Day and summer camp. Katelyn will attend Virginia Commonwealth University.
Maxwell Hunter Blust
Max joined the NSA family his sophomore year and was immediately an integral member of the NSA football program. He was recognized as the Offensive Lineman of the Year and received All-TCIS and All-State honors. Max will work for All-First Industrial Contracting as an apprentice.
Charles Hayden Bolling
Hayden has been a larger-than-life presence in the Class of 2023 since he joined the NSA family in Pre-K3. His outgoing personality shone as captain of the Varsity Football Team, and he was also a member of the Roc Solid and Breast Cancer Awareness Clubs. Hayden has not yet decided on his future plans.
Krista Elizabeth Booker*
Krista was known as a force to be reckoned with on the field hockey pitch, leading her to receive the Defender of the Year award. In addition to sports, she was also a member of numerous service clubs, including Operation Smile, Recycling, Roc Solid, Mental Wellness, Shanti Bhavan and Breast Cancer Awareness. Krista will attend the University of Mary Washington, where she plans to study nursing.
Mia Loughlin Butler
Mia joined the NSA family in the fifth grade when her family relocated to the area. She was a Section Leader in the Concert, Jazz and Marching Bands as well as a captain for the Varsity Sailing Team. Mia also enjoyed being a part of the theatre program and numerous clubs, including GSA, Robotics, B.O.O.K. and Environmental Awareness. Mia will attend Mount Allison University, where she plans to major in Business Commerce of Aviation.
Macenzie Megan Call*
Kenzie joined the NSA family her senior year when a military move brought her family back stateside, and she immediately immersed herself in the community. She was a member of the Varsity Swimming Team and even tried something new by playing soccer. She also enjoyed being a part of the Quiz Bowl and Women’s Introduction to STEM Clubs and was vice president of the Social Justice Club. Kenzie is excited to attend Virginia Tech.

A Saint since Pre-K4, Ryanne left her mark on NSA as co-founder and president of the Recycling Club. She is also a multi-sport athlete, having been a member of the Varsity Volleyball, Soccer, Field Hockey, and Track and Field Teams throughout Upper School. Ryanne plans to attend the University of Virginia where she will study kinesiology.
Christian Elkanah Alexander Clarke*
During his 14 years at NSA, Chris was involved in a wide range of activities. He was a member of the Marching, Concert, and Jazz Bands as well as the co-founder of both the Men’s Volleyball and Social Justice Clubs. He showed leadership on and off the field as a captain of the Varsity Soccer Team and editor of the Spectrum Literary Magazine. Chris will attend Johns Hopkins University, where he will major in engineering and continue his soccer career.
Tyree Dyrell Claxton
Tyree was an impactful member of the Varsity Baseball program at NSA. He also enjoyed being a member of both the Breast Cancer Awareness and Roc Solid Clubs. He’s excited to attend the College of Southern Maryland, where he plans to study psychology and continue his baseball career.
Robert Andrew Clemow
Rob brought his infectious NSA spirit to everything he was involved in since arriving at NSA in the seventh grade. He was a member of four Varsity teams, including basketball, track and field, lacrosse and football. He also participated in Boys State and was a member of the Shanti Bhavan Club. Rob will attend Elon University and will study sports management. He’s excited to be a part of Elon’s Sports Vision Program, where he will broadcast and commentate on a variety of sporting events.
Hannah LeAnne Cole*
Hannah was an integral part of the choral and theater programs during her time at NSA. She held numerous lead roles in productions ranging from “Little Women” to “Guys and Dolls” and was a member of the Advanced Chorus. She was also active in the Women’s Health Club and was a co-founder of the Dance, Stretch and Conditioning Club. Hannah will attend Florida State University, where she will major in theatre with a minor in music.

Marie Connor*
A multi-sport athlete, Shannon was a member of the Varsity Volleyball and Field Hockey programs as well as captain of the Soccer Team. She helped arrange numerous playground builds as president of the Roc Solid Club and was crowned Homecoming Queen her senior year. Shannon will attend James Madison University and will major in business management with a minor in supply chain management.

Michael Culbert
Dylan was a dedicated member of the NSA Art Department, where he received recognition and many awards for his beautiful art pieces. He was also a member of several clubs, including Roc Solid and Connecting with Kids. Dylan will attend Savannah College of Art and Design and will major in fashion design and marketing.
Cyann Amarie Davis-Lawrence*
Cy joined the NSA family in the fifth grade and enjoyed being a member of anything involving reading and writing! She was a member of the Writer’s, B.O.O.K. and Good Reads Clubs during her time in Upper School, and she was a French scholar through and through. Cy will attend Christopher Newport University and plans to major in neuroscience.
Emma Grace Demsko
Since joining the NSA family as a sophomore, Emma quickly settled in as a member of the Roc Solid and Operation Smile Clubs, where she enjoyed participating in fundraising efforts. She also had fun as a member of the Ski and Snowboard Club. Emma will attend East Carolina University with the goal of becoming a dentist.
Jackson Hollis Dimperio*
Jack was a fixture in the STEM Innovation Lab throughout Upper School and even helped to remodel the space the summer before his senior year. He also played both Varsity Soccer and Tennis, and he was selected to participate in Boys State. Jack will attend Randolph-Macon College and will major in mechanical engineering.
Madison Jacqueline Rebecca Dryden
Madison was an avid athlete and member of the Varsity Cross Country and Swimming Teams as well as the captain of both the indoor and outdoor Varsity Track and Field Teams. She even holds the school record for the shot put! Madison also displayed her leadership abilities as the French horn and trumpet section leader in the band. She will attend The Citadel - The Military College of South Carolina.
Meredith Paige Edwards
A lifelong Saint, Meredith played Varsity Field Hockey and was captain of the Varsity Soccer Team. She loved spending time with the Lower School Saints through the Connecting with Kids Club and promoting the importance of mental health and wellness through the Mental Wellness Club. Meredith is excited to attend Old Dominion University on a pre-physical therapy track.
Romola Comfort Egunjobi*
Romola took advantage of all the Upper School had to offer after becoming a Saint in the ninth grade. She played in the Marching, Concert and Jazz Bands and was also a member of the Varsity Indoor Track and Soccer Teams. In addition, Romola was a Student Council representative and member of the B.O.O.K. and American Red Cross Clubs. She will attend Georgia Institute of Technology with plans to study neuroscience.
Gabriella Federici
Gabby’s time at NSA was marked by her involvement in all things creative! She was the editor of the yearbook and took numerous art classes. She also co-founded the Women’s Introduction to STEM Club, which encouraged women to explore everything that STEM has to offer. Gabby also served her class as the Student Council historian and as a member of the Helping Those in Need Club. She will attend Virginia Commonwealth University and plans to major in fashion design.
Faith Mya Garcia* Class Secretary
Faith jumped right in and made her mark when she joined the NSA family in the ninth grade. She was proud of winning the state championship for golf during her junior year, and she also served her class as secretary. Faith also raised awareness of environmental issues through her involvement in the Protect the Nansemond River and Recycling Clubs. She will attend Old Dominion University, where she will study biology and will continue her golf career.
Hope Mia Garcia*
Hope was a member of the Varsity Golf Team throughout Upper School and was a part of the state championship team her junior year. She served others through numerous service clubs on campus, including the Environmental Awareness, Save the Animals, Recycling and Helping Those in Need Clubs. Hope will spend her first year at Old Dominion University prior to a guaranteed transfer to Georgia Tech for her sophomore year. She plans to study biology on a pre-med track.
Arianna Mardel Zhi Xin Gregory*
Arianna joined the NSA family her sophomore year. She loved all things books, and was a member of both the Good Reads Club, of which she was vice president, as well as the B.O.O.K. and French Clubs. She also served as an intern for the Office of Admissions her senior year. Arianna will attend the University of South Carolina, where she plans to major in marketing.
Kyra Ashlyn Hall Class Historian
A lifelong Saint, Kyra has been an active member of the NSA community her whole life. She loves to read and was the founder and president of the Good Reads Club, co-president of the Writer’s Club, and treasurer of the B.O.O.K. Club. She took her love of words one step further as the Spectrum literary magazine editor-in-chief. Kyra was also a member of the Varsity Swim Team and served as a new student mentor. She will attend the University of Virginia, where she plans to follow a pre-med track with a minor in French.
Brett Alexander Hartgerink* Class Treasurer
Brett showed leadership in every aspect of his involvement at NSA. He was the president of both the Men’s Volleyball and Yard Games Clubs, and he was also the treasurer of his class. As a three-sport varsity athlete, Brett was a captain on the Tennis and Swimming Teams and a member of the Soccer Team as well. He’s excited to attend Elon University in the fall, where he plans to study business.
Skylar Grace Hartgerink*
Valedictorian
Skylar was a leader in all aspects of life at NSA and was proud to be the co-founder of the Blue Papers Club and secretary of the B.O.O.K. Club. She was a four-year member of the Varsity Cheerleading Team and served as captain her senior year. Skylar was also the vice chair of the Honor Council as well as a representative on the Student Council. She will attend William & Mary and plans to double-major in Environmental Science and English with the goal of attending law school in the future.
Page Elizabeth Henry*
Page has been a lifelong Saint and joined the NSA family in Pre-K3. She was a captain of the Varsity Field Hockey and Lacrosse Teams and was also a member of the Swimming Team and served as an editor of the Spectrum literary magazine. Page will always be remembered for helping to destigmatize mental health challenges as the founder of the Mental Wellness Club. She will attend Christopher Newport University, where she will participate in the Presidential Leadership Program and will continue her lacrosse career.
Rebecca Lynn Howe*
Becca was active in a variety of activities during her 14 years as a Saint. She played Varsity Golf and ran track and field, where she also holds the school record for girls’ discus. As a member of the Marching, Jazz and Concert bands, Becca played the piccolo and served as the co-section leader. She also enjoyed the mental challenge of the Chess and Quiz Bowl Clubs. Becca will attend Elon University, where she plans to major in business and will play the piccolo in the Elon marching band.
Jase Rylin Howell
Jase was a five-year member of the Varsity Baseball Team and also played basketball his junior and senior years. He was a member of the Shanti Bhavan service club and also enjoyed being a part of the GOOD Music Club. Jase will attend Hampden-Sydney College, where he will major in business and will continue his baseball career.
Tyler Benjamin Howlett
Ty was proud of being a starter for the Varsity Baseball Team throughout Upper School. He also participated in several service clubs, including Roc Solid, Operation Smile and Shanti Bhavan. Ty will attend the University of Lynchburg in the fall, where he will also continue his baseball career.

Lydia was captain of the Varsity Volleyball Team and a member of the 2021 state championship team. She was a member of numerous service clubs, including Roc Solid, Shanti Bhavan and Recycling. Lydia enjoyed working in the Extended Care Program after school and was loved by all of the Lower School Saints. She will attend Virginia Tech and plans to major in psychology.
Emma Caitlin Jensen*
A 12-year Saint, Emma was involved in a variety of activities throughout Upper School. She was a part of numerous clubs, including Women’s Health, Women’s Introduction to STEM and Helping Those in Need. She also loved the time she spent with Lower School Saints through the Connecting with Kids Club. Emma was selected to participate in District Chorus and also played Varsity Lacrosse for several years. She will attend the University of Lynchburg, where she was accepted to the Master of PA Medicine Graduate Pathway Program.
Abigail Douglas Johnson*
Abby has shown her Saints spirit through every activity in which she was involved. She was a three-sport Varsity athlete and was a member of the Field Hockey, Swimming and Lacrosse Teams. She also loved spending time in the Lower School through the Connecting with Kids Club and supporting her community through the Mental Wellness Club. Abby is excited to attend Randolph-Macon College this fall.
Summer Gabriella Johnston*
Summer was a proud member of the Varsity Golf Team for five years and was a part of the state championship team as a junior. She also enjoyed being a member of the Connecting with Kids Club and trying out new recipes with the Creative Cooking Club. She will attend Christopher Newport University.
Violet Grace Johnston*
Violet was delighted to graduate from NSA after spending several years abroad with her military family. She exuded quiet leadership throughout her time at NSA, from her leadership roles in numerous clubs to participating in Girls State. Violet was also a member of the Varsity Soccer and Cross Country Teams and captain of the Swimming Team. She leaned into her creative side through AP Art and Design and as the art editor for the Spectrum literary magazine. Violet will attend Honors Carolina at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, with a double major in environmental health science and chemistry and a minor in marine biology.
Felipe joined the NSA family as a senior and immediately fit right in! He was a member of the Varsity Lacrosse Team and the Women’s Introduction to STEM, Quiz Bowl and Yard Games Clubs. Felipe will attend the University of Lynchburg, where he plans to major in computer science.

Krifli
Adam joined the NSA family as a junior, and he enjoyed being a member of numerous clubs during his time as a Saint. He was a member of the Film, STEM, Yard Games and American Red Cross Clubs, and he could often be found playing pick-up games with his friends in the Thomas W. Johnson Gymnasium in the Beazley Center when time allowed. Adam will attend Virginia Commonwealth University.
Camren Dawayne Lepper
Camren joined the NSA family as a senior and quickly found his home as a member of the Varsity Soccer Team. He also participated in the Shanti Bhavan and Yard Games Clubs. Camren is excited to attend Virginia Commonwealth University in the fall.
Dingkun Li*
Kevin made the most of every moment in his four years at NSA. He was Student Council president and the first international student to be elected to the Honor Council, serving as secretary. A three-sport varsity athlete, Kevin was captain of the Cross Country and Swimming Teams and a member of the Varsity Sailing Team. He also loved his time in the theatre department and will be remembered for his roles in numerous productions. Kevin will attend Virginia Tech, where he will major in aerospace engineering.
Pressley Ross Lilley
Pressley joined the NSA family as a junior and enjoyed being a member of the Roc Solid Club. He could often be found playing pick-up basketball with his friends in the Thomas W. Gymnasium in the Beazley Center when time allowed. Pressley will attend Virginia Tech and plans to major in agricultural science.
William Carrick Lowe*
Will was an integral member of the Varsity Lacrosse program and was recognized as first-team All-TCIS and first-team All-State his junior year. He also played Varsity Football, ran track and was a member of the Shanti Bhavan service club. Will plans to attend High Point University, where he will be a member of the Exercise Science Fellows Program.
Benjamin Robert Lutz
Benjamin was proud to be the co-founder and co-president of the Care for Troops Club. He also played Varsity Soccer and managed the Varsity Baseball Team. He plans to attend Virginia Tech, where will major in agricultural technology.
John Nathaniel Martin
Nate was an active member of the NSA community throughout his time in the Upper School. He was captain of the Varsity Football Team and a member of the Baseball and Basketball Teams. Nate was also the vice president of the GOOD Music Club and part of several service clubs, including Care for Troops, Breast Cancer Awareness and Roc Solid. Nate will attend Old Dominion University.
Adam Kirchner McAninley*
A fixture in the Marching Band, Adam was drum major for both his junior and senior years. He also served as a section leader in the Concert and Jazz Bands. Adam was proud to be the co-founder of the Recycling Club as well as president of the Political Awareness Club. Adam played Varsity Golf and even participated in several musicals as a member of the backstage crew. Adam will attend the University of Mary Washington, where he will be a Washington Scholar and plans to major in political science.
Connor Matthew McGhee
Connor joined the NSA family in the ninth grade and quickly found his home as a three-sport athlete, playing baseball, basketball and football. He was the president of the Good Music Club, and he enjoyed connecting with younger Saints through the Connecting with Kids Club. Connor is excited to attend James Madison University.
Landon Jeffrey Miller
Landon joined the NSA family as a sophomore and participated in a variety of activities throughout Upper School. He was a member of the Varsity Swimming and Baseball Teams as well as the American Red Cross and Roc Solid Clubs. He also won several awards in local competitions for his artwork. Landon will attend Longwood University, where he plans to major in business administration.
Clare Elise Mitchell*
Clare was a fixture in the Lower School Extended Care program, where she made a positive impact on the youngest Saints. She was a member of numerous service clubs, including Helping Those in Need, Roc Solid and Recycling, and she was the proud co-founder and president of the Care for Troops Club. Clare will attend Virginia Tech and plans to major in elementary education.

Elizabeth Mitchell*
A lifelong Saint, Emma was an integral member of the Marching, Concert and Jazz Bands throughout her time in Upper School. She also enjoyed spending time with younger Saints through the Connecting with Kids Club and staying involved with the Current Events, Recycling and French Clubs. Emma will attend James Madison University and plans to major in international affairs.

Madison Moores
Claire was known around campus for her love of cooking and baking. She shared that passion with her classmates as cofounder and president of the Creative Cooking Club. She was also a member of the Varsity Cheerleading Team and a member of the Color Guard. Claire is excited to attend the Culinary Institute of America and plans to double major in baking and pastry and food business management.
Caroline Elizabeth Morgan* Class Vice President
During her 15 years at NSA, Caroline’s leadership was evident in all aspects of her life as a Saint. She was a captain of both the Varsity Tennis and Lacrosse Teams, she served as the Class of 2023 vice president and she participated in Girls State. Caroline also founded and served as the president of the GOOD Music Club. She will attend North Carolina State University.
Leila Grace Morgan
A creator at heart, Leila could often be found reading, writing or drawing, and so it’s no surprise she was a member of the B.O.O.K. Club. She was also part of several service clubs, including Operation Smile and Care for Troops. As a senior, she decided to try something new and was a member of the Varsity Indoor Track Team. Leila will attend the College of Charleston.

Sean was co-founder and president of the Ski and Snowboard Club and was a member of four Varsity teams while in Upper School: lacrosse, cross country, swimming and golf. He was also a member of several service clubs, including Roc Solid, Connecting with Kids and American Red Cross. He will attend Longwood University, where he plans to major in business administration.
Bolawole Aaron Orenuga
Bola was proud to be a captain of the Varsity Soccer Team and a member of the Varsity Swimming Team. He helped others through numerous service clubs, including Shanti Bhavan, One More Goal, Helping Those in Need and Roc Solid. He also enjoyed the challenge of the Quiz Bowl Club. Bola will attend Virginia Commonwealth University.
Dev Manish Patel*
Class President
Dev’s leadership was evident in everything that he did at NSA. He was the class president throughout Upper School and was chair of the Honor Council. As co-founder and president of the Shanti Bhavan Club, Dev helped to raise funds and awareness for underprivileged children in India. In addition to his community involvement, he was a member of the Varsity Soccer and Basketball Teams. Dev will attend the University of Virginia.
Nicole Renee Pendleton*
Nicole was captain of the Varsity Volleyball Team and loved being a member of the state championship team her junior year. She also played Varsity Soccer and was the co-founder and co-president of the Care for Troops Club. Nicole was also part of numerous service clubs throughout Upper School. She will attend East Carolina University, where she plans to double major in biology and sonography.
Kaylee Jingtao Perry*
Despite spending only one year at NSA, Kaylee made the most of it. She was part of the Varsity Swimming and Soccer Teams, and she participated in chorus and the winter musical. Kaylee also enjoyed spending time with the younger Saints through the Connecting with Kids Club. She will attend Longwood University, where she will major in nursing, with the goal of becoming a pediatric nurse.
Cooper Aidan Plott
Cooper was a member of the Varsity Football and Track and Field Teams during his time in the Upper School. As a member of the Track Team, he broke the school record for 110 hurdles. He was also a part of the Roc Solid Club and enjoyed helping to build playgrounds for children fighting cancer. Cooper will attend Virginia Commonwealth University and plans to major in business.
Colby Layne Prince
Colby joined the NSA family for Upper School and quickly became involved in sports and clubs. He was a member of the Varsity Soccer Team and was the co-founder and president of the Ski and Snowboard Club. Colby enjoyed spending time with the younger Saints through the Connecting with Kids Club, and he was also a member of the Roc Solid, Shanti Bhavan and Yard Games Clubs. Colby will attend Averett University and plans to major in aeronautics.
Luke Christopher Prince
A Saint since kindergarten, Luke showed off his school spirit by secretly serving as our mascot, Bernie, throughout Upper School. He was a member of the Varsity Lacrosse, Football and Swimming Teams, and he also served as the president of the Film Club. Luke will attend Elon University, where he will major in communications.
Richard Pope Reese IV*
Richard was an avid member of the band and was delighted to finally have a tuba solo his senior year. He participated in the Marching, Concert and Jazz Bands and also enjoyed being a part of the Robotics Club. Richard will attend Old Dominion University and plans to major in mechanical engineering.
Luke David Renninger*
A member of the Concert, Marching and Jazz Bands, Luke was an engaged member of the Performing Arts Department. He also was a member of the Recycling and Political Awareness Clubs, and he spent time in the Lower School with the younger Saints through the Connecting with Kids Club. Luke will attend James Madison University and plans to major in biology with minors in music and environmental science.

Lilly returned to NSA with her never-failing smile her junior year after several years away. She served as co-president of the Women’s Health Club and a new student mentor. She was also a member and manager of the Varsity Basketball and Soccer Teams. Lilly will attend the University of Mary Washington, where she will major in biomedical science and minor in sports management.

Bauer Russell*
A lifelong Saint, Max attended NSA since Pre-K3. In Upper School, he was a three-sport athlete and was a member of the Football, Lacrosse and Swimming Teams. Max also served as the vice president of the Shanti Bhavan Club and was a member of the Roc Solid Club. He will attend Franklin & Marshall College, where he will major in business and will continue his lacrosse career.
Kyle Matthew Sawyer*
Kyle was a member of the Varsity Football Team during his junior and senior years. He also enjoyed being a part of several service clubs throughout his time in Upper School, including Roc Solid and Save the Animals Today. Kyle will attend Virginia Tech and plans to major in building construction.
Nancy Elizabeth Shiembob*
Liz was a member of the Varsity Volleyball Team throughout Upper School, winning the state championship her junior year. She helped the community through several service clubs, such as Breast Cancer Awareness, Save the Animals and Recycling. Liz will attend Flagler College and plans to major in psychology with a minor in criminology.
Liam Gerard Shughrou
Liam served as a pitcher and a third baseman for the Varsity Baseball Team throughout Upper School. He was also a member of the Ski and Snowboarding and Roc Solid Clubs. Liam will attend Virginia Wesleyan University, where he will continue his baseball career and plans to follow a prelaw track.
Jacob Alexander Slattery*
Jake was a member of the Varsity Cross Country, Swimming and Track and Field Teams throughout Upper School. He also engaged his creative side as an editor of the Spectrum literary magazine and as president of the Writer’s Club. Jake will attend the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University with plans to major in biochemistry and astrophysics.
Cassidy Alexandra Spencer
Since joining the NSA family as a sophomore, Cassidy has been engaged in a variety of activities. She was an active member of the theatre program and a member of the Varsity Cheerleading Team. Cassidy furthered her involvement through the Dance, GSA and Connecting with Kids Club. Cassidy will attend the Honors Program at High Point University with plans to double major in dance and exercise science on the pre-physician assistant track.
Marcos Alejandro Ojeda Speroni Salutatorian
Marcos was a leader throughout his 13 years at NSA. He was a co-founder of the Helping Those in Need and Shanti Bhavan Clubs as well as a Quiz Bowl captain and Boys State participant. Marcos also played lacrosse throughout Upper School. He will attend Georgia Institute of Technology with plans to major in computer engineering.
Cameron Marie Stambaugh*
Cami was a proud five-year member of the Varsity Swimming Team and also played field hockey. She was a member of the Mental Wellness, Recycling, Operation Smile and Roc Solid Clubs as well. Cami will attend James Madison University and plans to major in nursing.

Ryan was a four-year member of the Varsity Soccer Team and began playing lacrosse his sophomore year as well. He also played in the Band his first two years and continued with music independently his junior and senior years. Ryan will attend James Madison University.

Kennedy Marie Turner
Kennedy played both Varsity Field Hockey and Softball. She was also a member of the Roc Solid, Mental Wellness and Connecting with Kids Clubs, which allowed her to make connections with Saints in the Lower School. Kennedy will attend East Carolina University and plans to major in nursing.
Samuel Mason Viola*
Mason was a 13-year member of the NSA community. He played on the Varsity Soccer Team and was a member of the Shanti Bhavan and Quiz Bowl Clubs. Mason will attend the University of South Carolina.
Gabriel Lawrence Wansart
Gabe joined the NSA family as a junior and quickly became an integral member of the Varsity Football Team. He was also a member of the Social Justice, Recycling and Spikeball Clubs. Gabe will attend Tidewater Community College and plans to major in computer science.
Yanni Clarissa Wilson
Clarissa immediately found her home in the theatre department after joining the NSA family as a senior. She was a member of the backstage crew and also performed on stage in several productions, including “A Night on Broadway.” Clarissa also enjoyed being a part of the Good Reads and Creative Cooking Clubs. She will attend Savannah College of Art and Design and plans to major in screen acting.
Walker Leigh Wood
Walker was thrilled to rejoin the NSA family as a senior after attending school in Virginia Beach for several years. She was a part of the Varsity Soccer Team and a member of the Roc Solid Club. Things came full-circle for her when she was able to serve as a Lower School intern during her senior year with her own second grade teacher, Mrs. Davies. Walker will attend Old Dominion University.
Zia Gracia Yandoc*
Zia enjoyed her time as a member of the Marching, Concert and Jazz Bands. She was also a member of the B.O.O.K. Club and Varsity Track and Field Team and served as an editor of the Blue Papers. Zia will attend Old Dominion University and plans to major in computer science.
Jesse Oladimeji Zinsou
Jesse joined the NSA family as a senior and instantly became an invaluable member of the Varsity Football and Basketball Teams. He also enjoyed being a member of the Social Justice Club. Jesse has not yet decided on his future plans.
