Future Investing in the

Howard Casterlow ’25

I am incredibly grateful for my NSA experience, because it has given me so many opportunities to learn and grow. The supportive community and dedicated teachers have all contributed to my personal and academic achievements. Additionally, I am deeply thankful to the generous donors whose gifts have made it possible for me to pursue my academic and athletic career here at NSA. Playing my last football game as a senior in our new stadium is a moment I will never forget. Their contributions have inspired me to strive for excellence, and I am forever grateful.

Charles Creighton ’25

I am deeply grateful for the generosity of NSA’s donors whose contributions have significantly enriched my academic experience. The recent Hawks Library renovations have transformed my daily routine, providing me with quiet spaces like the individual huddle rooms to concentrate on my work. I am also honored to have served as CEO of the Student Endowment Council, an additional opportunity made possible by donor support. NSA has cultivated a supportive and empowering environment that has allowed me to reach my full potential.

Mary Fitzwater ’25

NSA has provided me with an incredible community and opportunities that have shaped my high school experience. Thanks to the generosity of donors, projects like the newly renovated Hawks Library and stadium have enriched our campus. The library offers collaborative spaces for studying and clubs, while the stadium has created a fun atmosphere for Friday night lights. Coming to NSA as a sophomore, I quickly felt at home because of the supportive staff, advisory time and communal spaces. Senior-kindergarten buddy activities, internships in the Lower School and working in extended care and summer camp have deepened my connection with the NSA family, allowing me to grow as a leader while inspiring younger Saints. I am truly grateful for everything NSA has given me.

Did You Know?

A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) allows individuals 70½ or older to make tax-free donations directly from their IRA to a qualified charity. For 2024, the annual limit is $105,000, increasing to $108,000 in 2025. QCDs reduce your taxable income without the need to itemize deductions on your tax return. They can also help you avoid moving into higher tax brackets or losing other deductions, and they count toward the required minimum distributions (RMDs) for traditional IRAs, helping you meet your annual withdrawal requirements in a tax-efficient manner.*
